I have the technic Dodge Charger. A lot of fun to build with a decent learning curve while building. I've finished building it and, it looks beautiful. Decent sized model too.
I have the Lego Technic Dom’s Dodge Charger too. It was a fun build and looked good finished.

This is a good comparison. I originally got the Mustang as it's a really cool showpiece and overall a very nice model. Love it. Obviously I would have liked the Charger more as a Creator Expert, but with current discounts it has become a real bargain. So now I got both cars. For the price, you can't really go wrong with old school Technic big block V8, functional rear diff and steering with full suspension front and back. Also, it's the official set of Dom's Charger from F&F. If you enjoy the movies like me, you'll enjoy this model also.

I have the mustang model and i am impressed every time i look at it. The details are very accurate to the real car.

Those two "wing" pieces under the rear bumper @3:46 need to be swapped. Every reference picture has them flush, not sticking out. Great comparison though!

Both models are really awesome. I'm currently holding off from going to Target and getting the Mustang, the Charger looks awesome once finished and the detailing looks amazing! It give you a further detail on how the car suspension, steering, and the engine itself works.
It's interesting how the price of the Charger is $10 more when converted to Euro but the price of the Mustang is $10 LESS when converted to Euro. Also, I have the Lego Mustang, and I like how it is not completely static like I thought Creator Expert would be. There is some technic to it in the steering and the raising of the rear axle!

You cant just compare Technic and Creator Expert, Obviously the creator lego will win in looks, but obviously technic will win in playability!

These are both great sets. Technic sacrifices looks for functionality and creator expert sacrifices functionality for looks. But I bought the charger because that mustang where I live is 300$ and the charger was only 140$ 😂
The mustang has a lift option you turn a knob on the bottom and it lifts and lowers it’s just he forgot to mention it

Have both the charger and mustang (and the porsche). I really love all models. They were great to build but for me most exciting are the lego creator expert models so the mustang and the porsche are hands down my favs

Haha, you're right about those mirrors. I personally am more into Technic sets.
the dodge is pretty close to the movie car, chopped mirrors and the like. and lego finally learned to keep the exterior "hand of god" steering. plus this isnt a fair comparison between a technic and a creator expert.

Has anyone else noticed the design flaw in the rear suspension of the charger if you push it fown it won't come up all the way and then if you flip it over you can see two Grey pieces just behind the axel that separate when pressure is placed on the rear axle? And yes I've rechecked the instructions no fault of mine .

If you want to motorize and drive them outside with Buwizz or Control+, the Technic models are more suitable because of weight and stability...
Mustang is aestethically better because it's design is very fine, while Dom's Charger feels much...rougher
I have the Dodge charger also. Too bad it fell off mydresser after 2 weeks of building it, lol. (i never touched it again, and sold it for scrap)

My Ford Mustang hood doesn't close all the way, it hangs on the two gray, diagonal struts in the engine compartment. idears?

If you're looking for a realistic LOOKING car, get the Mustang, or the Porsche that just came out. If you are looking for a realistic WORKING car, get the Technic.

Your ratios for the cents/part are completely wrong... You need to flip the equation because the lego is like 14,000 dollars... its more like .0952 cents/part....
