Very helpful Thankyou, so many videos explain how to get that plant to root but then I didn’t know what to do with them over winter

That was so helpful. I can't wait to try this with sand and peat moss. Thank you! More videos please!

In the Autumn can you plant them in the ground rather than keeping them indoors?….assuming the particular plant is hardy for your growing zone

Absolutely, Fall is a really great time for planting, in fact David says its his favorite time.

First attempt failed cutting shrivelled up, I won't give up and will try again

Its not easy, the trick is to keep them exposed to sunlight (so they can grow) but at the same time, keep them moist enough so they don't wilt and shrivel.
Don't despair, you not the only one...., it happens to us too. Even with all our modern equipment it happens here too!

      Here's the scoop!
We made this video a little while ago:
      ua-cam.com/video/p9QKvqSPl3o/v-deo.html
It should have all the information you need
And, if you go to this link and put in your Zip code you will be able to find details of the garden Cneters that stock our plants: www.grownbyoverdevest.com/retail-locator/

So just wanted to update, I have four out of 6 healthy ( I think) cuttings now that seem to be doing ok. Don't ask me names of plant, I buy them because of colour of flower, so will be pink or purple. I wont take up your thread anymore, but just wanted to say even a real novice can do it. I am also having success with vegetables, really have not much idea what I am doing I make it up as I go along, but it's working 🤣 sometimes. Anyway thank you.

Well done. We are all learning all the time, so you are not alone in your quest for new experiences, failures and thankfully triumphant successes!
