Somebody needs to bring this floor plan back it is so nice. The only thing missing for me is the honey oak. I do not sleep in a padded white room do not want to in a camper. The "New York vanilla" color walls are good to hide the fingerprints of people that paw at walls. Under 12K pounds and only 36 feet long sure has a lot in it. This is over a million views and easy to see why.
I agree 100%, they need to bring that back before plan the only thing I feel like they need to add to it would be the fireplace in the bedroom and change the coloring I wish I could find this camper I'd purchase it!
The only guy on you tube that takes a real effort to make you visualize you being in the products👍

The outdoor patio regardless if used for its intended purpose gives the impression of such a much bigger space when sitting/living inside.... love it.
I stop by once a year to enjoy the tour of this unique and welcoming trailer. I still love it.

I finally got around to watching this one. What an amazing place to camp! It's also fun to see how much your video making craft has evolved and improved over time. You're a lot better now, but even back then you were a lot better than the tours I've seen where they just open a few cabinets and push on the mattresses.

This is awesome. They're getting better, and better. I love the indoor patio, and the awnings. You can relax anywhere you want. Great indoors, bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen. You could actually live in this quite comfortable. I like it.
This thing is freaking COOL! I love the rear garage. The built in deck is fantastic! This thing needs modernized so bad. Tinted frameless windows, the tinted glass door, TPMS inverter ready, solar prepped, zero g stable steps, dual a/c's, lighter brighter interior tones. I want this thing.
That front window made it special I think

This is definitely an impressive camper! I'd love to take that one on a holiday. In fact, I'd bet that even my 6'6" frame would enjoy it as a full time live-in trailer.

I wonder why RV brands stopped making this feature. It's cool having a patio for barbecues if your neighbors/relatives tag along in their RV and everyone wants a spot to party together.
The only thing you didn't cover is fresh water, gray and black tank capacities. Considering the current tiny house craze, why wouldn't you go for something like this over an impractical tiny house? Nice features for the money.

I have a 2013 open range 26ft (bumper to bumper) and I can pull with my Ford expedition...but I also have a stabilizer on it and I am going to get a better hitch...it's a very comfy trailer and had to live in while caring for my mom..I got alot of space for a tiny trailer and it's built very well..I did have problems with hit and cold coming from dinning pop out . And in process of taking out corner tv cabinet as I can feel the cold and I live in southern California...I'm going to insulate the walls and put back tv but I'm putting in a fireplace under it instead of cabinet...it's a great place even in the rain..almost sound proof...most maintenance has been on stickers that won't stay and have pealed..I also can't wash at home as we have well water and it will spot it bad...I don't like the door as it has a crank out screen and no way to get a screen door so I had to make one..I get a great breeze and it wasn't coming in the little vent...I also live in nature so it's been a challenge keeping them from getting in..but they're having a very hard time because of the great underbelly on this..I bought it used but they didn't use it much..been very happy...well built..I get lots of ????because I've not seen too many here in CA...and have to order parts online...if you see one for sell check it out..I've lived in this one for over 2 years full time and it looks like it did new..and held up nicely... PS..I also live with 2cats and 4betta fish.lol...very comfy
I 'm going to down size ( Going Broke ) and this fits the bill .....and it does sound like Allen Harper . Jon Cryer . I've been searching for a floor plan exactly like this , the Washer dryer , the patio , the rolling work station , recliners and All LED Lighting really makes Solar power a no brainer and there' plenty of space for extra batteries . it's the Roominess if that's a word . If you are going to live in it , you need some space ...Guitar Amps take up a lot of space, and mine go to 11 . Retirement years come faster than you think .

Definitely note the posting date of this video. A great deal has changed since this video was created. Doesn’t mean open Range might not be a good fit for you, just means things like this are no longer in production.
Very few of these videos ever reach close to a million let alone a million wake up manufacturers people want this still

I love this camper, it is so nice and I could see myself living in this one full time. The only think I am missing is I would a shower with a small tub like bottom. I have two dogs and they need bathed from time to time, so a basin with a shower is always something I am looking for. Though the porch is amazing and has me thinking that camper living might be for me.
I could live in that. That`s a home on wheel`s.

Yep, you could rig it up w/ snap on screens. My pa built a big deck for his shack near the river. Then decided he wanted it all screened in, so he custom made the screening.

The kitchen is roomy. The only thing that leapt out at me was it was on the dark side. Having a window in front of the sink, or the island w/ the sink facing windows is a must have, for my preference anyway.

the look & feel inside of this trailer is soooo old fashioned....this is grandma style....however....slide out and terrasse is mega cool...
Back when this was originally posted & new it was very modern and residential. Keep in mind you're looking at aged footage of a style and floor plan that is no longer in production.

Wish they made more campers with Patio doors. We had a 40ft Park model with sliding doors and it was great. could tip the awning down to keep it nice and shaded and never had to worry about rain pooling. Love these open ranges but outta my price range.

Im in love with this RV. Do they still make this model? It is probably1 of my favorites. I love the deck. You did say an Explorer could tow this but didnt give the actual weight. I have an Explorer and we are looking for something liveable but also towable. You are a great saleman. Hands down the best. You could sell sand in the desert. No longer in production. A properly equipped *EXPEDITION* is really the minimum vehicle that should be handling this rig. An Explorer has no business with it -- perhaps I mis-spoke.

The 1st 22ft you toured was great except the frig( a must ).And against fold bed but not living in it so ok.Like it a lot but would have liked 26 ft.

I think the features on new trailers have come light years from when we had our 32 foot trailer but they all have such dark interiors. I'd prefer more white and much lighter flooring, such as in the grey tones. I'm so done with dark brown and tans.

The Journeyer 340FLR is a very nice RV. Its much better than a tiny house. I am retired and I have been looking at tiny houses and came across the 340FLR. Could you send this to Hawaii (round trip) and park it there for several months? tnx Ed

These were discontinued in 2016, but the side deck was phased out in 2015. This video basically represents the last time they were available. We wish they had something like this available still today.
Great looking little travel trailer. Only one problem, can't find any of them out there that have the optional tip out patio option. Found four or five but none of them had the patio option. Must be a rare item, or else everyone likes there's so much there not selling. The 2015 model was the last year they made this model. To bad.
You're having difficulty finding them because not enough dealers had the guts to stock them this way. The feature was phased out after 2015 as a result.
The 340FLR floor plan existed a bit after in the "Roamer" lineup after Winnebago told Open Range to stop using the "Journeyer" name (which Winnebago owned). But it ended soon after.
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thank you for the information. Sad, it really is a fantastic option to have the patio just outside your living room. The dealers that didn't order it, (sorry personal opinion) needed to have their business savvy over hauled. That was just plain lame. And unfortunately because of it the travel trailer company suffered. If you should happen to hear of one that is in really good shape, give me a shout. Most likely I would paint all of the cabinets a really nice white beach front paint color, swap out the dark furniture for some cream colored Lambrite furniture and remove any carpeting, replacing it with Shaw tile flooring. But hay, it's already gorgeous on the outside. Wish they would build it again and update the interior.

As it turns out they do not. This was the last year they made them with the side patio. In 2016 they continued the model with no patio. But in 2016 it was retired entirely

Oh yeah. Plenty. There’s a lot of them on our channel. Trailers are definitely more than just one slide
This man is very good and very thorough the only thing I don't like is that the windows aren't frameless so therefore water leaks. Also the roof is not curved so the water will sit on the flat surface above.
Quick notes: You might not realize it, but this is old outdated footage. Frameless really wasn't available in the trailer industry very widely at the time. Also, the roof is vaulted on the exterior. You won't have resting water issues.

I can just imagine ,hit the breaks and the kitchen island flying into something!
+Kim Friesen: The Island straps down & stays in place in the slide out. The reason the island has to roll due to the nature of the extra deep slides of an Open Range. If a slide is extra deep, then it comes extra far into the camper when retracted. A Fixed island would be crushed by a power slide. You certainly don't leave the thing simply rolling around the interior during transit.
This floor plan is also most commonly used on seasonal sites & not often towed.
