regarding jumping while close, the idea is you need to establish that you will CC so they stop tilting and stuff, THEN you can jump when you're close to her! The stuff that beats you for jumping around usually loses to CC! Make them scared to do it and you get to go nuts

Try going to setting and turning on CC and slowing the video down to .75 speed

tech chase and move! falcon has almost no fast moves to shut down a tech chase like how fox and falco have shine, so he's one of the easiest characters to tech chase and you can keep it going to ridiculous %, and needles and jab suppress his ground game rather reliably as well
