    I was working at a National Guard Armory on W.66th St. NYC, in 1969, one block away,
    when the 'shot', where "George" nearly gets hit with a manhole cover, happened! (If you
    look closely, you can see an Army jeep, that just left our Armory)! Also, the Cleveland
    Airport is actually L.I.'s MacArthur Airport! Great little movie, with a great cast!

      Interesting were you watching as they filmed? Also "George" (Jack Lemmon) was actually injured by that manhole but kept acting, what actors did back then for their craft.

    Everybody in this movie was perfectly cast.!great movie I think and the remake was a waste of time.
