I love how people seem think their opinion is the right one, it's almost like a religious war in the comments. Personally, I would want a 350z over a Lambo. a BIG difference too lol probably paid $30k for that car and added another 10-15K to the engine alone. total value of that Z? id say about 45-50K total value for the lambo? 100k lol
I have a passion for all cars(most). I have been on both sides of the argument. If you think struggling along and putting every penny you have to modify a 350 just to beat high end cars, your missing the point. That guy is going to say oh... A fast 350. That guy doesn't care. Its hard to find something that's perfect in all those fields. Maybe I'm just getting old, but most cars feel like they drive themselves today. Even Lamborghini lost much of its adolescent attitude it used to have. 350z is a great car, but it didn't excite me. First couple gears suck, doest feel fast until well over 100, and its too controllable with tc on. Don't forget about the 25% drive train loss! The e36 is a great car. Yes BMW maybe overrated and has long gears, but for the price of a used e36 its hard to beat that 50 50 balance and driver/car/road connection.
+DirtMongers im pretty sure from a stand still the lambo would leave the nissan. but the point is - really - if someone offered you keys to a lambo and keys to a 350z - you wouldnt take the 350 keys. like 99% wouldnt so... who are u kidding really.
+Sergio Pinto True car guys would take a nissan over a lambo, especially since you can mod it. The lambo is just a financial statement and nothing more.
everybody has their own taste in cars. some of us like the Z's some like lambos and some like hondas! witch i have seen a honda CRX from 1991 beat a 2005 murcielago befor hahahaha! fuckin V-TEC lol
+I Love Evos most Hondas are junk, but sometimes you'll run into some crazy shit. the only car i've lost to in my procharged mach 1 is a nutty beater-looking civic hatchback tuned to hell and back. well i didn't LOSE, but i would have if we didn't have to stop for traffic coming up. i took a strong lead but by the end he was gaining fast. a few more seconds and he would have passed me like a rocket. and i've beaten Z06s, an early GTR, modded terminator cobras, a brand new porsche carrera S (SMOKED the porsche, this was last night), and a 2006 gallardo spyder.
Everyone saying they'd "rather have a Lamborghini than a 350z" needs to shut the f**k up. You'd have to have half a brain if you'd rather have a 350z. My point is, quit making meaningless, rhetorical, trollish statements like these. It just makes you look like a fool. Comparing a stock 350z to a Lamborghini is like comparing a stock Civic to a Corvette. If you're smart, you'd realize that everyone who has common sense is impressed by this video ONLY because the boosted V6 350 is able to keep up with a Lambo. Again, two COMPLETELY different classes are being compared here. No one in their right mind should ever say they'd rather have Nissan's entry level sports car over a legendary Italian super car. If you want to make a statement that's respectable, at least say you'd rather have a Lambo Gallardo than an R35 Nissan GTR. Now those two are in the same class!
Not to burst your bubble but it makes sense to want a 350z after watching this video. Depending on the model a 350 can range from $7,000-$20,000. Adding a twin turbo kit costs about 7-10k+ depending on the kit. Adding that up your looking at a max of about 30-40k. If i pay $180,000 dollars for a lambo and i see the tail lights of a 20k 350z i will be pissed. You are paying 140k less and beating a lambo....lol i think i want a 350z too bro.
Tommy steele IV I understand what you're saying but I kept that in mind when I made my above comment. Price isn't a factor in some of these troll comments on this video. Some people are literally comparing the two cars side by side without considering price or class. I don't see why anyone would feel the need to say "the Lamborghini is a better car", when we all know that. I guess I was just a little annoyed. I'm a G35 owner, and I'd take the Z any day. lol For all of us non-millionaires out there, it's the much better option.
Tommy steele IV even though it will still be cheaper, you still forgot to mention boring and stroking the motor while putting in pistons and rods from a brand like CP Pistons and Carillo rods that are lighter than oem, new cam, ecu, clutch, flywheel, a better transmission to take that kind of power you expect out of a car that is originally under 300hp, oversized brakes that I would recommend a 6 piston setup (because lets be honest, you really think standard 350z brakes will cut it), suspension including coilovers, adjustable arms, the whole grand tour (because if you think it is going to stay in a straight line you are out of your mind), dynoing, mapping, and not to mention trying to make it lighter by experimenting with carbon and also trying to make it a bit more aerodynamic like your top of the line ferrari, porsche, etc. So more like dumping between $50,000-$100,000+ into a car to that is worth max 25 grand in which you are never ever going to get back out of. You are better off just buying a used exotic that is by no means maxed and you will see at least 70% of the money you spent buying it back by the time you get through that whole process is my point to this long ass pain of a sentence.
I hope you know Lamborghinis come naturally aspirated intentionally, for a small 30k (yes small because lambos are 300k+) you can twin turbo it. BTW Quarter Mile world record is in a Lamborghini Gallardo twin turbo. Lamborghini gives buyers the option if they want to turbo their car through companies like underground racing.
"BTW Quarter Mile world record is in a Lamborghini Gallardo twin turbo." This is not in any way true. "Lamborghini gives buyers the option if they want to turbo their car through companies like underground racing." They'll do anything you want them to if you're willing to pay for it.
nlimskater He's right though, world record for what? What category? Because ein't no Lambo's in Big Tire's running 6 or 7 seconds, and if there are it ein't cuz they're Lambo's.
nlimskater sheptran's gtr is faster than underground racing's fastest gallardo by a tenth and is still street legal. There are several american classics running ~6-7 second quarters that are all legal to drive on the street.
I got tons of respect for anything and everything fast but really many people are forgetting that the 350Z had to be modded with a turbo before I could even be parked next to any Lamborghini. Yes the 350Z won but it had to be modded before it cold beat the Lamborghini. All I'm saying is that lets but both of these cars on an even playing field because there is nothing special about a stock non turbo car getting beat by a car that is running on boost. The fact is that the 350Z should have won and if I was the driver of the 350Z even though it won I would still be embarrassed about the way It won because you can make a very safe argument that with a better driver the Lamborghini with a better driver would have won because adding power does not guarantee victory. I have seen races where the difference in the race was the driver not how much power was under the hood because the car that lost had about 600 more horsepower under the hood. This post is especially meant for the fan-boys in the comments claiming that a Lamborghini that is not running on boost sucks. SHAME ON YOU.
Idk if i would be embarrassed if i were the owner of that Z. If i just took down a Gallardo in a car that i built i would be stoked. If the guy is a shitty driver in the other car then that's his problem. Seeing as you can't really miss a gear with flappy-paddle gearbox, plus roll races are kind of hard to mess up. Saying that race wasn't on a level playing field is ridiculous. The Z needs boost to make it fair. I don't mind Lambos but I guess I'm one for building my own car for way less than the cost of a super car and then going out and beating them in their own game.
are u stupid how much is the lambo cost compare to the Z? Now even this z is modded is still cost alot lest than a lambo and yet it smoked it people who dont no shit about car like u should shut up
Don't make me laugh because all of my points are %110 percent valid. Don't insult my intelligence and accuse me of being ignorant because it only proves how narrow minded someone such as yourself truly is. LOL
pyro74boy You're ignorant. You're flat out ignorant. How about we put the same amount of money into each car (including the base value). You put 150k into the 350z and that'll beat any car you put next to it. You put 150k into a Lambo and well.... You have a stalk Lambo. Your notion of "fairness" is horribly skewered.
lmao a 03-06 350z costs 10k not 35k... I should know because I have one. My 350z cost 10k and I put a greddy twin turbo kit that cost me 4500 and i also had to get a standalone for 1000 bucks and lets put 1000 more for some custom works and left over parts and tuning... for the price of 15,500 I have a 410 RWHP 350z and it beats lambos and vettes all day long.... so for all you talking shit about the 350z just something to think about lol so this video 15k vs 150k car
Its not even about losing its how people can take their cars to different performance levels.... that's the art of automobiles and the enjoyment enthusiasts get from it! Everyone has their own preference dude!
Because the Lamborgini looks freaking amazing lol. When it comes to strait up performance you could get an old M3 and put 20k into it, you would have a car that would eat any thing on the road, but man it would absolutely be horrible to drive on the road.
Dan Martin Yea you're right, they do look amazing. But for those of us who love to save a buck on their hard earned money for something that can get faster (in this example, stock Lambo vs a suped up Z), The Z looks more eye appealing :)
your mentality is wrong, would you rather save up, buy the lambo, look like a boss, and not have to worry about mods? Or look like a normal car and have to worry about making it go this fast. anyways, lambos are not 300k try around 100k for a used one.
DelmarGamers You may find a few older Gallardos for sale asking 100K, but if you actually follow up on those sales you are going to pay a lot more. 125k at the minimum. And that does not cover the stupidly expensive insurance that they charge for exotic cars, the gas mileage on premium fuel, and the cost of general maintenance. A $200 check up for a normal car will cost something like $2,000 at the Lamborghini dealer ship. And you can't just take them to your local shop. For 100K I much rather get a used GTR and a nice supersport bike. But I am talking from the perspective of someone who likes to drive more than I care about how many people take pictures of my car.
+ameer chowdhury true i love nissan to the max but if i had that kind of cash i would more than likely buy an audi r8, just overall love the design. been my dream car forever now lol i would kill to own one. and i think gtrs are totally overrated.
To me, it's more than that. The GT-R is just a great supercar all around. Not the fastest by any means, obviously, but incredibly-responsive, lightning-quick off the line, handles beautifully, looks awesome, and probably my favorite part, it just has that great engine sound (Think of the sound you hear from the R34 version in "2 Fast, 2 Furious" in the beginning when he's rushing down the highway to get to that night race... That sound... Even the R35 has that sound, and I've always loved it). It's a fun car in so many ways, whereas some cars like Lambos are unforgiving in so many ways. It's the same reason why I've always dug the Ford GT (the first remake, not the version that just came out). Because it's got "fun" written all over it. Again, not the fastest in the world, but super-responsive, a forgiving handler with outstanding recovery, superb mid-range torque, wickedly-stylish, and like the GT-R, the Ford GT v1. has a great engine sound. I mean, how could one not have the time of their life driving or even riding in a car like that. I'm no big BMW fan, but I always enjoyed the M3 for those reasons. A very-forgiving handler, great ride (smooth and tight), great engine sound, killer looks, etc. Anyway, that's always been my thing. I don't like cars that make you feel like you're riding on an E ticket rollercoaster, being shaken and jerked around in the seat like that. Put an old lady in a car like that, and she'll break her friggin' hip. I like supercars that add a little comfort and enjoyment into the mix as opposed to just straight-up, balls-to-the-wall rocket speed.
+Derek Reeves (GangTwanger2) it's not a supercar, it's just priced like one. it doesn't handle like a supercar should, and it's not as fast except off the line.
THAT MUCH SPENT ON THE LAMBO AND HE SAYS HE'S NOT GOING IN WITH THE EXPECTATION OF WINNING SMH! IF I SPENT $250,000 ON A CAR I EXPECT TO WIN EVERY RACE IM INVOLVED IN! HE COULD HAVE SPENT $120,000 ON A AUDI R8-V-10 AND SMASHED THAT 350Z AND THEN SPENT SUM OF THAT $130,000 LEFT ON A SUM TACO'S AFTER WINNING!
lol Porsche 911 turbo S would shit on both of these. 2014 911 turbo S clocked in at 2.5 second 0-60 that's faster than the aventador... and P1..... and Laferrari... and gtr... and the 458... and f12.... for 180k... oh wait the Porsche 918 does it in 2.4! and it gets better mpg than a Prius...
Yeah, most of the 0-60 times of "higher end" cars or exotics, have crazy 0-60 times due to amazing launch control systems. It explains why the 0-60 time is sometimes faster than the 5-60 times of these exotics.
The P1 has a quarter mile time of 9.8s and the Veyron SS 9.9s. Remind me, what's the quarter mile time of the Porsche turbo S? Have you seen the video shmee150 uploaded of a McLaren P1 beating an 850hp GT-R off the line? Bearing in mind the P1 only has RWD. So, the 2014 turbo S may very well be .3 of a second quicker to 60 than the P1, but that's the only area where it wins.
well we can go around in circles all day about tuning cars and lambos and turboed up nissans and stuff, but at the end of the day we are watching these videos because we like cars that go fast. I respect the fact that you like the tuning scene and things like that, all im asking in return is that you respect other people decisions to like lambo's and ferrari's. we are all "car guys" here. I don't think anyone who wasn't into cars would bother watching vid's like these
Nothing like knowing every edge and corner of your car by building her yourself. Makes me feel much better because I know that there were no shortcuts.
l2read. They were racing from a set speed to a set speed. So the 350Z was letting up once it hit 160. Thanks for playing. "350Z Twin Turbo races a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder from 50-160 mph"
Finally, someone who knows what they're talking about. Incidentally, I'm working on a Nissan GT-R that produces 1400hp at the wheels. The people who just buy a lambo because it is a lambo can stick it.
Depends, car enthusiasts won't care too much. It's about what they prefer. Superficial people tend to pick higher priced car because "exclusivity" or it's "better". Honestly, for one group it's price and looks, but for the other it's way beyond just that. And based on your comment I honestly think you can't tell me why you like the lambo more without mentioning looks, power, or price. My simple rule, unless you work with cars ,you really don't know what you like but only what you think you like.
Finally, straightline performance is also also affected by aerodynamics/exterior design of the vehicle/coefficient of drag, rolling resistance/ tire design, shifting speed, gear ratios, etc. The lambo beats the 350 in all these categories, just as a car that expensive should. so, in conclusion, the lambo really just wasn't being driven flat out or the nissan has some serious powertrain mods. That is all. Everyone have a nice day.
Gotta agree with you. I used to have a z, but sold it back in 09. I live in Pittsburgh and you can get one for about 13-15k with pretty low miles depending on what year and if you want the de or hr. Good turbo/twin turbo kit about 7k and another few grand to put it in if you can't do it yourself. So for about 25-27k you can have a badass z. I see them a lot on autotrader going for anywhere from 18-22k already done, but I'd rather do it myself
I'd preferably pick a turbo Nissan to a Lamborghini for quite a number of reasons: 1. The price tag doesn't define the sports car. The potential does. 2. For the price of the Gallardo Spyder, you can easily have 2 fully built R32 GT-Rs 3. Though Lamborghini coined the term "supercar" ages ago, they've lost their ways and only build status vehicles to slap that title on. The proposed "pedigree" doesn't justify the price.
A friend of mine bought a 2003 350z for $23,000, then bought a greddy tt setup for $9k, then spend $4k having the setup installed. Had it dyno'd at 420ish to the wheels. I have seen the car run 12.4's with MAJOR traction issues. Oh the highway, not much could outrun it, not even a C6 Z06 Corvette.
I still want that 1985 Lambo Countach I had on a poster as a toddler. It just...I don't know, no words. That's probably why I love that sweet ass thing.
Woah, woah, woah. That Nissan 350z kept up with the Lambo?! THIS IS WHY I LOVE NISSAN PRODUCTS! Amazing cars. Love the 350GT most of all. Nice product.
The lambo is designed for high speed, acceleration and handling. It has a lightweight frame and aerodynamic design, so all in all it is a race car. A low end sports car like the 350 being able to beat it by simply adding a cheap turbo is insane, it shows you how much Lamborghini is milking out of its customers. Like I said, we would all rather have a lambo, but DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR (as I said) the 350z + a turbo beats the lambo. No this is not a NA vs NA race I'm talking about, its cost effective.
350z ftw! This is exactly why I drive one. For literally a third of the price and enough work you can smoke most exotic vehicles in the upper 250,000 dollar price range.
Its a semi-automatic manual transmission. It is not a true automatic because it uses an automated clutch instead of a torque converter. You can either let the computer control it, or control it yourself (minus the clutch). That is why the gear changes sound like changes and not just like it smoothly transitioned into the next one.
The 2kz swap would be badass.... I actually wanted to do the ls1 swap in mine when I had it. Vipers are badass cars I like the new ones because of the traction control, all the other models get real tail happy, but you probably are used to that with the z having that much power too
Hahaha "Fairy" Bahahaha.... I do believe this Rob character is most definitely straight, married, and has at least one kid. But, the expression still fits him perfectly, well done. :P
That was awesome but damn building that Z to be able to at least pull on a Lambo must of costed a pretty penny. However it is a clean and very respectable Z!
Its a status symbol. A 350z thats been tt'd and is at like 700 rwhp may be faster then a 458 but i'd still rather get out the 458 when i show up places. Imo its prettier but its definitely a material thing lol.
this about how it looked when i raced the same car! (not this same owner's car, but the same kind of gallardo spyder) i was proud of my build. procharged mach 1!
this must be why a 2011 Nissan GTR (3800lbs , 530hp) has set a lap time around the nurburgring faster than a Ferrari Enzo (3010 lbs, 651hp) as well as other vehicles with less weight and more hp. the Enzo also accelerates from 0-60 in 3.1 seconds ( GTR: 3.2 , not as big of a difference as one would expect with the GTR's 1000 lbs/100 hp handicap). all i am trying to say is that there is much more to how fast or slow a car is than its weight and hp ratings.
No one is forgetting the 350z has a turbo. That's actually kind of the point of the video. Plus even with the Turbos, the 350z has less power than the Lamborghini. I love both cars, you just need to get over the fact that the 350z won. And yes, obviously i would choose the Gallardo over the 350z. But it also cost more than four times as much. You can't deny the 350z has more bang for the owners buck.
I see a really nice lambo and a legitmately fast Z. Nobody got spanked,
.
Exactly
God people! I respect lambo's and everything they stand for. Fast car, great design , REALLY EXPENSIVE to prove you can afford it.
But don't deny a Nissan 350z doesn't deserve respect for keeping up with it let alone OVERTAKING one in a race.

Today mr spaghetti shows up that sometimes home made pasta tastes better than the fancy store bought
This is a pre spaghetti comment video, how dare you
😂😂😂😂
I’m fucking crying🤣🤣🤣
Lol people don't realize why people buy lambos. It's not cuz they are fast it's because it's a fucking lambo.
So true +1
Damn right.
Yes. Lambo's are sexy.
It's not cuz they are fast it's because they have a small penis and showing off an expensive gadget in public helps mask their deep-seated insecurities while creating the delusion that they're actually impressing complete strangers.
Fixed it for you.

oh shut the fuck up dont even act like you wouldn't own one if you could
This makes me a proud owner of a 350z ☺️
You should be proud.

joshua de backer Lambos are about $100k unless they're new. Theres a 2008 gallardo spyder with 11k miles for 87k 35 miles from me.
Morgan Colvard but buying a 2nd hand lambo has great risks
Amazing how evenly matched they are. Makes me want to go TT on my Z.
hi lol
@@evan6898 wow thats a really old comment but I hope they say hi back 🥺

+DirtMongers im pretty sure from a stand still the lambo would leave the nissan. but the point is - really - if someone offered you keys to a lambo and keys to a 350z - you wouldnt take the 350 keys. like 99% wouldnt so... who are u kidding really.
Frowntown not rly the point of the comment but whatever m8
Self isolation superspeeders binge 😅👍
Fun race. I'll take the Lambo please.
I'll take the z
I'll take both.
sinjin K hi
Life is a show.
I own a 2006 350Z and i would trade it without a doubt for a 2004 Gallardo.
Shut up. Who wouldn't trade a damn Nissan for a Lamborghini? I hate when people post obvious s**t.
Jaguyamerican calm the fuck down dude haven't had poon in a while?
Jaguyamerican There are o lot of idiots here who would take the nissan instead of the Lambo ;)
+Sergio Pinto True car guys would take a nissan over a lambo, especially since you can mod it.
The lambo is just a financial statement and nothing more.
Damn, it’s been 13 years papa spaghetti. Somehow this ends up in my suggested feed.
everybody has their own taste in cars. some of us like the Z's some like lambos and some like hondas! witch i have seen a honda CRX from 1991 beat a 2005 murcielago befor hahahaha! fuckin V-TEC lol
I'd rather have the 350Z and the $150,000 leftover in the bank.
12 years later UA-cam algorithm is terrible and now I get to watch old spaghetti videos. Nice.
Lol respect
I'd rather have THAT 350z than a Lamborghini. I don't like ostentatious things.
You are better off just buying a used exotic that is by no means maxed and you will see at least 70% of the money you spent buying it back by the time you get through that whole process is my point to this long ass pain of a sentence.
super charged motor on 350z is a demon!
TWIN TURBO not supercharged
Hillary Clinton really
The music is so 90’s motorweek
I hope you know Lamborghinis come naturally aspirated intentionally, for a small 30k (yes small because lambos are 300k+) you can twin turbo it.
BTW Quarter Mile world record is in a Lamborghini Gallardo twin turbo.
Lamborghini gives buyers the option if they want to turbo their car through companies like underground racing.
"BTW Quarter Mile world record is in a Lamborghini Gallardo twin turbo."
This is not in any way true.
"Lamborghini gives buyers the option if they want to turbo their car through companies like underground racing."
They'll do anything you want them to if you're willing to pay for it.
nlimskater He's right though, world record for what? What category? Because ein't no Lambo's in Big Tire's running 6 or 7 seconds, and if there are it ein't cuz they're Lambo's.
Ixander Gonzalez
Twin Turbo Lambo is a street legal car and it destroys all other street legal cars in the mile.
nlimskater sheptran's gtr is faster than underground racing's fastest gallardo by a tenth and is still street legal. There are several american classics running ~6-7 second quarters that are all legal to drive on the street.
Derek Huey Nice, that's the difference between owning an a fast car and an exotic
Now even this z is modded is still cost alot lest than a lambo and yet it smoked it people who dont no shit about car like u should shut up
pyro74boy You are so ignorant that I can't even describe it in words...
Why has this been recommended to me 11 years later...
idk but same here lol, im glad it was though.
thats why i love JDM japan power supra is my thing thoe
lmao a 03-06 350z costs 10k not 35k...
Some ppl would say the gallardo driver can't drive.
Most people will say he can dont know who he is?
why buy lamborgini 300k when nissan is beter 25k
DelmarGamers yeah but lambos are gay.
very well put my man. respect
What kind of person buys a Lamborghini and doesn't get it for manual? Or was he using his panels I couldn't quite tell?
He had panels
Nicholas Atchley the vast majority of Lamborghinis are paddle shifters...
vinul g well sorry I'm not a Lamborghini expert...
Nicholas Atchley it's fine, but you shouldn't try to make fun of him then.also.
If I had the money, I would just go buy a used nismo gtr :)
Joe Wagz im a nissan/infiniti fanatic but i think gtr's suck compared to other cars in the price range. to many gamer fanboys that just know the 0-60
+ameer chowdhury true i love nissan to the max but if i had that kind of cash i would more than likely buy an audi r8, just overall love the design. been my dream car forever now lol i would kill to own one. and i think gtrs are totally overrated.
+Derek Reeves (GangTwanger2) it's not a supercar, it's just priced like one. it doesn't handle like a supercar should, and it's not as fast except off the line.
best reply on youtube atm
nissan is nissan !
+T.R .D lol okay
dude buy a 200k+ and gets smoke by a less than 40k car lmao
40k? lol maybe 20k with the twin turbo but yea thats pretty embarrassing
+Austin Walters lol during that time the 350z was still on sale, so it was probably around 25-30k plus the turbo's around 35-45k
That wasn't being smoked, they were pretty even
ill still take the lambo.
You read that wrong. He was saying 35-45K total. Also he didn't get smoked lol.
I'm pleasantly surprised. A twin turbo VQ can hang with a $160,000 V-10 Lambo Spyder. Someone built that VQ right. Good shit dude.
THAT MUCH SPENT ON THE LAMBO AND HE SAYS HE'S NOT GOING IN WITH THE EXPECTATION OF WINNING SMH! IF I SPENT $250,000 ON A CAR I EXPECT TO WIN EVERY RACE IM INVOLVED IN! HE COULD HAVE SPENT $120,000 ON A AUDI R8-V-10 AND SMASHED THAT 350Z AND THEN SPENT SUM OF THAT $130,000 LEFT ON A SUM TACO'S AFTER WINNING!
hahaha life time supply of tacos for 130,000 :D
Audis... Aren't that fast... Especially an V10 R8. I've seen a stock R8 get beat by a single turbo civic on 13 pounds.
....isnt the r8 v10 the engine out of a lambo gallardo?
yea but it makes less hp in the audi
Audi would have lost against it too
Nissans are just soooooo ugly
TAKE THAT BACK!!!!
DragonButtWipe
lol
Idk I like the GTR it's curvy like a fine Latin women lol
i'm more of a Z fan. the GTR is alright, but it's a bit out of my price range....
Let me guess, you're the proud owner of a beat up Civic with LED's all over?
The car runs like a dream I chased you with a silver zo6 a few years ago. congrats on the build
lol Porsche 911 turbo S would shit on both of these. 2014 911 turbo S clocked in at 2.5 second 0-60 that's faster than the aventador... and P1..... and Laferrari... and gtr... and the 458... and f12.... for 180k... oh wait the Porsche 918 does it in 2.4! and it gets better mpg than a Prius...
what? what???
yeah to bad the gtr is half the price
Hey there.
I don't think anyone who wasn't into cars would bother watching vid's like these
i fucking love super speeders!! ive seen all the dvd's!
You rock mate.
Racing on public roadways is illegal
Cry about it.
I love my infinite G35s coupe 6mt rwd brembos
Gotta agree with you. I used to have a z, but sold it back in 09. I live in Pittsburgh and you can get one for about 13-15k with pretty low miles depending on what year and if you want the de or hr. Good turbo/twin turbo kit about 7k and another few grand to put it in if you can't do it yourself. So for about 25-27k you can have a badass z. I see them a lot on autotrader going for anywhere from 18-22k already done, but I'd rather do it myself
I'd preferably pick a turbo Nissan to a Lamborghini for quite a number of reasons:
1. The price tag doesn't define the sports car. The potential does.
2. For the price of the Gallardo Spyder, you can easily have 2 fully built R32 GT-Rs
Oh Rob, if youtube has taught us anything its when cars are making noise the music goes off.
Awesome!
That 350 is seriously badass but Im in love with my G35...just a cosmetic preference. How much boost is it running?
Now let's see a 350Z TT vs. a Gallardo TT. That would be a nice matchup! Heffner TT please!
Caution alot of commentators using the word spank in here
u deserve my subscription
~420ish rwhp 350Z = ~500ish hp 350Z... so that's very impressive and makes more sense as to the results in this vid.
Oh I agree. total cost of the 350Z is probably around 80K with a real setup and tune and what not.
Rob what you do for work? You have all those crazy cars. Lamborghini Gallardo, Ford GT, Chevrolet Corvette etc.
Not possible, the lambo owner didn't gave full throttle
Damn good races
The Zed is fast....like it 👍🏼
Nearly 7,000 comments! I wonder if Rob reads all of these...
Now if the Gallardo was a twin turbo, this would have been a whole different story ;)
agreed, sounded like the lambo was barely breaking 6~6.5k revs between shifts.
350z ftw! This is exactly why I drive one. For literally a third of the price and enough work you can smoke most exotic vehicles in the upper 250,000 dollar price range.
Pretty much a tie. Good race!
Its a semi-automatic manual transmission. It is not a true automatic because it uses an automated clutch instead of a torque converter.
You can either let the computer control it, or control it yourself (minus the clutch).
That is why the gear changes sound like changes and not just like it smoothly transitioned into the next one.
Im a proud owner of a 350z :) good race though!
The 2kz swap would be badass.... I actually wanted to do the ls1 swap in mine when I had it. Vipers are badass cars I like the new ones because of the traction control, all the other models get real tail happy, but you probably are used to that with the z having that much power too
Yeah. Look up the Super Speeders DVD. Rob has tons of Exotics.
WHAT AN LAMBO!! nice!
My buddy had a rear mount turbo on a 350Z. He broke the crankshaft in two!
Don't worry the engine in the 350Z is not long for this world
We all know the lambo is of higher quality n class etc , but u can't deny da 350 sexy as hell n quick
Well might as well go all out! Just look up Robert Himler's TT Gallardo if you haven't already. Absolutely epic!
Its a status symbol. A 350z thats been tt'd and is at like 700 rwhp may be faster then a 458 but i'd still rather get out the 458 when i show up places. Imo its prettier but its definitely a material thing lol.
this about how it looked when i raced the same car! (not this same owner's car, but the same kind of gallardo spyder)
i was proud of my build. procharged mach 1!
kingcrimson234 hi
What turbo kit is the 350 running? Any specs on it please?
this must be why a 2011 Nissan GTR (3800lbs , 530hp) has set a lap time around the nurburgring faster than a Ferrari Enzo (3010 lbs, 651hp) as well as other vehicles with less weight and more hp. the Enzo also accelerates from 0-60 in 3.1 seconds ( GTR: 3.2 , not as big of a difference as one would expect with the GTR's 1000 lbs/100 hp handicap). all i am trying to say is that there is much more to how fast or slow a car is than its weight and hp ratings.
The only time a car seems to sling shot is when the other is shifting. If they they shifted at the exact same time it would be dead even
No one is forgetting the 350z has a turbo.
Thanks for informing them 4 years later. lol
Good job!
