This brother always goes the extra hypermile with his reviews, I always catch more info here than I do during a test drive and that’s no exaggeration. Thank you sir
Highly appreciated! Please recommend 😎

Yesssss! An SQ7 in electric would be amazing. Good to see an electrified Q7 though. Nice video
Perfect! This video just made me smile while watching it thanks to all the team and to you Thomas.
cheers pal !

Would love a car check on Thomas's personal ride
Yes! Thomas do you’re own personal car. Just to change things up. Would be interesting
I really liked it, thank you Thomas for review
YES THOMAS & JONAS. Get well. Great review. Thank you
Get better, Jonas! Great review as always!
Thank You Thomas
those quilted seats look amazing
Thanks as always Thomas, great review and thank you for sharing your opinions which are always on point.
highly appreciated!
Thomas as always first and deliver quality content! Best channel!
BTW I love new Q7 look
The most comprehensive review on the new Q7 is right here with autogefühl! The Q7 looks mighty nice ...love that door sound closing.... Solid!
👌
@@autogefuehl Thomas this so complete review convinced my Father to get this Q7 PHEV ! It's the best of both worlds no need to worry looking for a charging station, you get the "elctro power boost and the benefits of regular engine! Thanks again..keep up the great work!
Thomas is always so professional and discribes so many details. well done! But it is really cool that a PHEV car has a six cylinder engine😂😂😂
=)
Very nice review, as always!
Please do the new 2020 Audi A6 Allroad 50TDI.
I'd watch Thomas review a tomato.
👌😁
I'd watch Tomato review a Thomas
"Nice peeling sound. It's great it is sustainable and doesn't harm any cow. The biggest disadvantage of it it's not available in Tomas blue yet." :D
I enjoy watching the 2 Thomas' arguing/analyzing in Thomas' head. There's always several "howevers..." They think their thoughts and it comes out of Thomas' mouth. Good review Thomas's. (Thomas, I hope your Thomas's in your head don't argue while you are trying to sleep.)
yay =)
Get well soon, Jonas. Best wishes to you and everyone at Autogefuhl.
thanks Robin !!
The front end could benefit from a more aggressive design
It's Liam that’s what the SQ7 is for lol this is quite clearly a Q7 s-line
Hello, new Audi Q7 PHEV is very elegant inside and out and I am very impressed with the new Audi Q7 PHEV.
Somehow I keep coming back to your reviews ;)
thanks keep tuning in =)
Great Review. I like the longer EV range of the GLE PHEV. And I would drive around mainly in electric and never worry about “charge anxiety” unlike in a pure EV! Interesting that you comment on preferring the petrol GLE PHEV version - I initially liked the idea of the diesel GLE PHEV version you recently reviewed. Get well soon Jonas and Best Wishes.
Thanks John!!
Like before watching it. Thank you.
The best part of this reviews is the driving part.
Cheers! =) Enjoy full length
Very nice review! Any hope to get in-depth review of Q5 TFSI e?
Thanks! We ll also have the A7 PHEV
Hi. Thomas. Audience from China. Thank you for the great introduction. finally ,I made my decision on SUV.
thanks Jeff !
an attractive combination
Love your show, where do you video your show in Germany? South, North or West?
How is this car off road? Thank you for the good content.
Very beautiful very reliable very strong
Have you gone to Portugal for testing the new Peugeot e-208 ?
Thanks and good video bro !!
not yet but we will m8 :)
@@autogefuehl Thanks so much for the response :)
This is a great alternative to an SQ7. I really would have a hard time deciding between the two, even though I'm a big diesel fan!
thats what I thought!
@@autogefuehl what would you choose between this Audi Q7 or a Lexus RX450h?
When the Q7 60TFSI e quattro would be available ?
Do you have an idea on CO2 exhaust?
Get well soon, Jonas. Stay healthy.... I would prefer a PHEV because I want to drive in the city on electricity alone and also a IC engine to support my weekend long drives by not making me have range anxiety. Now that I don't own a car, but I think by the time I save and buy a car, I might as well get a full electric vehicle because of the fantastic charging infrastructure across Germany, mostly western Europe.
I really like this redesign. The previous gen was abit frumpy, this looks well proportioned all round. Audi design do proportion so well
@Autogefühl do you have any co2 output number for the 60e en 55e ?
would be really interesting to know due to our fiscal climate/rules...
not yet sry
Great review Spec caption please
I think Audi has done the right thing with the drive line not compromising the transmision compared to Volvos twin engine setup.
Thank you guys again. My wife and I were considering the Q7, and was wondering about the new model. A couple questions: 1. Does it come with running boards? Being your height, it seems easy enough to get in and out, but for someone short like my parents, I would think they need a step to get in and out of. 2. Do you know if they are coming out with a full electric or even a plug in version any time soon? Thanks again.
Thanks! Hm, this is PHEV! Full electric no. Running boards afaik no
Hi Thomas, as usual very good report, thank you. Do you know if Audi are working on a Q8 Phev? Many rumours around, but no facts that I can find. If they have done a Q7 Phev, surely the Q8 Ohev will be easy?
Thanks! Havent heard
@@autogefuehl Ok, thank you
Front looks older than the old one haha
Thank you for your video! I like them best!! When Porsche Cayenne Hybrid will get more than 30km? Mercedes makes about 100km with 350e so Audi now about 50km. When Porsche will make an Upgrade/Update?
thanks! havent heard of an upgrade for that
piano black everywhere loooooooooool
Manual transmission is avail in this model ?
I Wonder what car Thomas is using.
I think we will soon see a Q8 55e and 60e and possibly an A6 50e and 55e, I wonder what S models might come as PHEV to give an option to the diesels? Larger petrol Audis are scarce on their configurator the moment. For a short time, there were petrol only Q8's, A7's but they disappeared quickly, presumably to make way for the PHEV's. Stopped buying diesels a few years ago and now just waiting for Audi to get their PHEV act together or some better options (longer range, different styles) than the electric only Etron.
Why doesn't Audi offer Remote Start yet?
Thomas when are you reviewing the new BMW X5M!? Please we anticipating this one sir
not sure yet but we ll keep u updated!
What is the price on that exact model?
It would be nice, if one opt for proper Quattro anf torque converter automatic for all Audi models (instead of the Q Ultra & DSG). 2l turbos are powerful enough for that.
They went for the car conventional lower intake. It's too familiar
For those people who are confused about the Hybrid powertrain and what to do with it. Use the Normal mode and let the car manage the use of the hybrid system on the highway and in the suburbs. If you're in a hurry and you need 'get-up-and-go' use the Sport mode and when you are approaching the downtown or restricted city centers use the Electric Only mode. I'm not a fan of Hybrids but I will say this car is future proof for at least the next 5 to 7 years with all the new Low-Emission Zones coming soon.
I want to buy a 2017 3.0 TDI phev but yeah, how is that 7yr old 17,3kwh battery pack going to hold up, I don't rlly care if it lost a few kwh of charging capacity, it just needs to keep working...
Why have Audi gone from diesel hybrid to petrol hybrid? Is it because of the Diesel gate?
Personally, I do not think that the steering wheel design and build quality is on par with the 2019 luxury standards. I expect more metallic surfaces. This also applies for the door buttons and switches.
Thomas what was real consumption?
Cant say with PHEVs. Only when completely depleted
0-100?
Can you pls review the new Bmw X5 45e?
Yes soon!
Autogefühl thank you!
Lane keeping steering is for developed countries only. In Turkey, if a road is widened most old lanes are still visible and some of them lead straight into obstacles.
0:51 thats fast...
sure is!
I prefer its predecessor, the exterior of the facelifted q7 is wierd
The reason why the facelift version looks weird is because they are trying to integrate the new design language which doesn’t go with the original design. When they first developed the 4M Q7 plate form, they used “horizontal design”, the new front grill is “vertical” and the new lighting took the dominance away from the car. Just look at the taillight, they simply borrowed from the q5 which is way too skinny for this car.
The front and the back looks like two different cars. They’ve lost direction on this facelift model which is a shame because Q7 shouldn’t look like a larger q3.
Doesn't facelift mean a minor exterior tweak (like the A4)? This looks like a complete upgrade?
For a facelift, quite extensive, indeed.
@@autogefuehl It really is. Inside and outside.
It is more an organ transplant than a facelift, really - the entire dash comes from the A8/Q8.
I would go phev as company car purchase and serious savings on bik
Which do you prefer? X5 or facelift Q7?
I personally prefer the X5, but I kinda like this car's look too.
@@ClaireYunFarronXIII i like it's practicality
Very nice full size suv but the X7 and the GLS have the edge over this one.
André Lima they're two really competitive rivals.
I need more than 8”
Hi thomas do you knkw this car 0 - 100 kmh second ??
Wikipedia 😀
@@autogefuehl can u say 0-100 :)
5,4
@@autogefuehl very thanksss
I will buy this car used in 5 years time
jzilla1234 if petrol powered vehicles won’t be prohibited by that time, maybe I will too
@NICK XP wasn't there supposed to be a ban around 2025?
@@TheLastCrankers no
Pre facelift better In every section also had real exhausts
Wiff Tommes.
Thanks for another great video, but Audi honestly have to move from little changes to something more than their usual beige cars.
Mark shaz this is the VW group lol what did u expect
You pay 80k for an Audi suv and they give you some net holder for seat storage lol
I don't know which one to choose. A6 allroad or Q7‼️❓❓. 55 tfsi engines. I care more about the comfort of driving‼️ .. space and so may two cars have a lot. Suvs may be less stable during fast turns or bends, and of course the wind, which affects stability ...
I see. Best to test drive your options and see which one wins you over. I don't know if renting a car for a week is possible for, but if it is, rent your options for as long as possible.
These days SUVs have become as stable as sedans and wagons due to anti G-force technology or some sort of body-balancing components. I don't know about the cars you want, but I know the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE with the E-active air suspension has no body roll at all and was ranked the number one safest SUV (in many places) on the market for a long time. You can watch videos of it having no roll on even the most sudden of turns.
The front look is better in 2017-2019
28:48 was a very scary move from you, that car from behind you, had really good brakes :)
No, all easy. Was way faster
The front→ :]
Honestly it's not enough electric range for me... It needs to exceed 100 KM on a typical day for me to be enticed. I have a (rust bucket) Ford Fusion that isn't even off its finance yet and need to stay away from American cars. Audi, Mercedes, Lexus keep their value much better for a reason.
I think it's enough
I'd rather buy the Kia e-Niro with the 455km range. Also much cheaper than this.
Bye.
Bruh
450hp is wrong, it has 340hp and 450nm
No 7 seat available???! Why Audi Whyyy 😩. XC90 do 7 seat hybrid, so.... what’s the excuse? Now I have to pic the Volvo.
Ahhh much better! An audi with the engine mounted the right way! Not haldex.
Costs the same as a small house!
It's good price o think you get a lot of car filled with technology
Hellu Thomas
The previous model was much better.Touchscreen dashboard....Come on Audi...Yeah it is ok to think futuristic, but now all of your cars look the same inside. This is a SUV for Gods sake. This should radiate power and controlling a powerful machine with mechanical buttons is better in my opinion.Okay put a touchscreen, but give us some buttons as well.We can't always look at that screen! We just want to turn the button right and left sometimes!
Is it just me or audi q7 always look a bit elongated from front to back... like a wagon... compared to other midsize SUVs like x5 and gle?
I feel the same, though that isn't a negative for me.
Stupid they call it facelift when EVERYTHING from interior and exterior is different
As far as design goes, you see one Audi, you’ve seen them all 🥱
Hardly any imagination to think out of the box for a fresher, more exciting look. If you’re looking for an SUV that oozes prestige and iconic design, this definitely isn’t it.
I would rather consider an EV or PHEV over ICE only for daily commute.
With the e-tron unable to improve on 10 year old Tesla tech, we now see the Germans balls up 20 year old Japanese tech. What’s going on at Audi? I can see this might be of interest for tax reasons, but it seems very inefficient to a) have to fuel a car in 2 totally different ways; b) have a very short EV range. They need to make better full EVs.
Funny how Thomas always like to advice us on how to save some money while reviewing 150k dollar car.
ua-cam.com/video/p99OzYxI9KY/v-deo.html
well, some people wanna know how to properly invest their money :)
Feel bad for the Q7, you drove so slow, watching you followed the big truck for 15 mins and every single car passed you, fell asleep, please drive better especially on the Germany cars.
Exceeding the speed limit doesnt mean driving better
@@autogefuehl Exactly! Thank you! I wish more people understood that!
Hybrids are a gimmick
Yes, but PHEV aren't.
EV's aren't but hybrids are
How so? Hybrids are very helpful depending where the buyer lives.
@@ClaireYunFarronXIII i can drive my hybrid in the city without ever starting the engine so how are they a gimmick
Not a fan of face-lift the front looks like an Asian design. I don't feel the strong German looks here.
BREAKING NEWS: Winston Churchill Dead at 90
1965 in Hyde Park.
Wow
Not as successful looking as with a number of their new 2020 car/avant line-up.
Even all new VW Touareg is a whole lot better.
No mate, the Touareg has alot of cheap plastics for such an expensive car and a lot of the luxuries are on the options list which is ridiculous for a VW badge 5 seater trying to compete with way better complete vehicles like X5, GLE and my favourite the Q7! They all have 7 seater options too! For the Touareg to compete, should be a 7 seater as standard and should have all the goodies standard on R line trim.
You must be kidding
Are you a vegan ?
yes m8, for 7 years now, my best decision ever for health, animals and the planet.
@@autogefuehl good for you 👍
@@autogefuehl bruh, meat is the best for your nutrition
@@dragospahontu Dragos, not at all clear that has been conclusively determined. The cost to raising animals for mass consumption is also a factor, not just one’s own personal well-being/ nutrition.
@@gregorythomashalsey4801 i was just speaking about one's well being and nutrition. Right now there isn't really an alternative.
I‘m really pissed off. Thomas, you wasted 45 minutes of my life. I watched through the whole thing to learn what your fuel consumption was and you didn’t tell us...
Not sure why you would be pissed off. It is literally impossible to state the overall fuel consumption of a PHEV. You can state the pure electric consumption, what I did. And you could deplete the battery and then check the pure petrol consumption, which there was no time for at this event. However you can check that out with other petrol reviews I have linked below. The combined consumption totally depends on how you recharge your PHEV. Any review who says "this PHEV consumes xyz l / 100 km combined" is just saying something totally random.
@@autogefuehl Yes, why not say something totally random. It would still tell us one possibility. On top of that we did see quite a bid of your driving style...
Autogefühl We have from you absolutely zero indication what the combined fuel consumption on such a drive would be. (Also where have you given the links to other reviews?)
Autogefühl What I do know from spritmonitor.de is that most people use about 16l/100km on the 349hp pure petrol version of the Q7. By how much does the plug-in hybrid reduce this fuel consumption on a drive like the one you showed us?
Links always in video description and the (pinned) comment by ourselves.
