Just had my first full, 8 hour Ocrevus infusion yesterday. Got the sore/itchy throat. Fell asleep during it and felt surprisingly good afterwards except a minor headache that Tylonel helped. Today though....my god. The feeling of being hit by a train that you mentioned is definitely here now. Hopefully an entire day of sleep will help. Hopefully. Thank you for your video and input!
Definitely try and rest as much as you can, I am planning this next go around to take the next day off of work at least. Hopefully it helps. Rest up!! I hope you feel better soon!
Thank you so much for this video. I'm a salon owner and it is a struggle. I go for my first ocrevus infusion March 15th 2021. I've never had and dmt before either. I'm dealing with high anxiety and just completely ready to breakdown. I'm so worried about having reactions and my throat swelling. But your video has helped me. Good luck #msstrong
I was terrified and so anxious about it too! I’m so glad it helped, if you have any itchy or weird feelings tell the nurse and they will stop it immediately and address any issues I’m sure. Hang in there Shannon! We got this!! Definitely bring snacks with you and dress in something comfy so you can try and relax and rest a little.
Honestly I felt like I was 25 again, the first 3 days I felt like super woman, which could have been the steroids and I had to dive into work harder then before physically, but I didn’t feel any pain or anything. It did however feel strange that I wasn’t in as much pain as I fight through daily. I think that was a good thing though. I just had my first scans after having ocrevus and have no new lesions and my old ones are scarred over and shrinking! I have been noticing now since it’s wearing off and my next Infusion isn’t for about a month. I am more tired and having what feels like little episodes but apparently all is good according to my scans and blood work. They are calling this my “crap” window coming down and needing my next infusion soon.
@@m.sletstalk8500 I am assuming my body is adjusting just been sore and tired. I am happy to hear about your MRI results! I get the 2nd half of the first dose next Thurs. Thank you for your response!
@@reallive2109 it could be the steroids too that they give you before that are making you feel this way. That steroid can make you feel pretty bad when you’re coming off of it. Definitely make sure you’re taking the time to rest during this time. I wish you the best and hope this medicine makes a big difference for you! I go back in July for my 2nd full dose. I will update after for sure.
Hi! I’m doing really well, hard year this last year or so with life changes and health but really getting it all together and still on ocrevus and it’s working well! I’ll be back with videos soon.
I’m doing pretty well. I have almost zero symptoms after being on ocrevus. I can tell she. It wears off and it’s time for more but its given me my life back!
Ooh yeah. We love miss and are keeping you in our prayers.💕
Glad all went well. Thanks for the video.

I'm newly diagnosed with foot drop and left leg weakness. I wanted some info if ocrevus can improve symptoms

Go Vegan
I was vegan for years and the time I was diagnosed. :( I stick to a sugar free, minimal dairy and mostly pescatarian diet now.
