@@tjknight if you want to play dimensions you have to build batman wildstyle and Batman and the portal and the batmobile or any car you may have. Not to mention you have to build every character you buy along with the boats or cars or planes. And if you want to play a ghostbusters mini game with a couple levels. You have to buy and build Abby. And you also have to build something as big as the portal.
@@glitchherobrine3773 You don't have to build the portal, if you just hold right you will rush through the instructions and the game assumes you completed the portal, this also applies to all vehicles and gadgets as you simply need a toy tag for the game to load the vehicle/gadget you assigned it. Plus so long as you have the toy tag for a specific character you can play as them in game, the figures and models are just there to make transportation between spots on the portal easier.

Its actually super fast to get to grass in dimensions.. the first level is that yellow brick road one...if im not mistaken In lego worlds i am pretty sure you spawn right on top of grass or right next to it after the starting cutscene is done. So its like 2 seconds

So for anyone that doesn't know, LEGO DC Super-Villains onward don't have N0CUT5, but LDCSV just lets you skip by default. Skywalker Saga has no skip method for unseen cutscenes in a file. (Also, LEGO City Undercover has 7-digit codes, but it still works, it's just N0CUT5C instead)
Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins is a prequel to Undercover, although since it's pretty similar, I think the grass touching time would also be similar.
@maaz k Saying it's a mobile game isn't correct. Mobile games refer to phone games. The Chase Begins is not a phone game, it's a 3DS game. And either way, exclusivity is not an indicator of whether something is mainline or not. Him not playing it is totally fine, due to it's limited ways to play, but mentioning it like he did Worlds and Dimensions would be nice.

2:20 so was this game hard for anyone else when you were a kid? I remember getting my parents to play levels for me. Then when the complete saga came out they had actually changed various things to make it easier. The one I remember very vividly - because I would always have to get my parents to play it on every single playthrough - was the clone attack on geonosis in Attack of the Clones. The vehicle mission where your a clone transport used to have a pretty tight timer and then they actually removed the timer in the complete saga. I was actually disappointed they removed it because I wanted to finally beat it myself and prove I was good enough.
Ah, lego Batman 2. A game I played countless hours on but could never work out how to switch characters so never saw 99% of the game. Never even got to the point of touching grass. Me getting stuck in the first couple levels of a game due to overlooking something obvious was a common occurrence for me as a kid.
I’m glad I checked out this channel. On one of your Isaac videos you mentioned speedrunning LEGO games and I’ve been thinking about playing them as a kid. I actually saw the Star Wars complete saga was on sale on steam and decided to pick it up.
I really recommend you play undercover, it's probably my favourite Lego game. Its full of references and comedy, the gameplay pretty fun and an original story for Lego is nice
TT Lego game fans like to pretend none of the other Lego games exist unfortunately. I know a lot of them have questionable quality, but come on don't people get sick of the TT ones just being the same game over and over with a new movie skin lol It's just as well I guess since Rock Raiders and Alpha Team don't have grass, and in the first Lego Island there's grass everywhere but you can't walk off the road. Not to mention all the strategy and sandbox games where you don't even control a character.
By the way in Secert Plans three pills of grass with blue flowers that are secretly in the level by destroying some things near the end. (Like after the Rebel friend room) You actually don’t have to go to grass theme planets. This my not count has grass.
I actually quite liked that game, it has its charms. And some of the stuff in the freeroams is really fun. The entire character stuff is different but i personally kinda liked it.. a change of pace for lego games

I just had a thought: How fast can you beat every Lego demo on Xbox 360 and what happens at the end of each of them? Since it's likely that the Xbox 360 Marketplace will shut down sooner rather than later, it would be good to archive what's in each of the demos content wise. Plus, some iirc have cheat codes at the end like the AU/NZ magazine demo disc version of Lego Star Wars (idr which it was but ik it's the level outside of the cantina).
Personally my favorite LEGO video game is DC Super Villains and I think they should make more games from the villain’s perspectives instead of normally just the “good guys” or superhero’s or whatever you want to call them.
The Clone Wars game is my favorite lego game, i think that they need to make a new Clone Wars game to include seasons 3 through 7. Hell maybe even have it be a game for the animated shows and have the Bad Batch and Rebels.
While some of the terrain technically isn't made of legos, if the game is 100% made of legos, you can't touch grass since legos are made out of plastic
I have both worlds and dimensions, you touch grass almost immediately in the first level of both In dimensions the first level is the wizard of oz, you start on the yellow brick road and just move forward a bit to touch the grass

You actually don't need a console to play Dimensions. You can emulate the entire game and dlc through the WiiU emulator
