An idea could be ranking every what I like to call forced co-op levels (levels where in the original story had just one character so the game had to include another character into the level just to keep the co-op available) between stuff that just makes sense like having r2/4 in the complete saga, the creative ones where they just slip in an oc like the janitor for Indy 2 and of course can’t forget darth Vader an absolute icon in this category of levels
I can also think of putting Shagrat in the Shelob level, and Gail girl in the first level of LEGO Movie (partially) and 13th (the one with emmet back in bricksburg, also firefighter joins them). but how is Vader a forced coop character?
@@Caspff technically it’s just obiwon in the scene but for co-op sake you can still play as anakin for the level which ends on a boss battle against the other player
@@zegop5736 Ah, you we're talking about that level. Yeah, but I wouldn't call this a forced co-op, because it wasn't really forced, it was just a non-typical mechanic implemented here. A co-op boss fight. Also, I beat the game many times, and there is a funny easter egg - If you beat the level as obi-wan, the cutscene gets shortened. Why? Because the start of the cutscene shows Anakin beating obiwan (but then loosing ofc), in case anakin player wins.
My favourite is the one in The Skywalker Saga where you’re just floating above Mustafar as you watch player 1 have fun fighting Anakin. Nice work, Warner Bros.
you forgot about the "lego isla nublar" bonus level which (i think) was the 100% reward for LJW (you also completely disregarded the deadpool missions in LMSH1)
while I wouldn't count the story missions from force awakens for the reasons you mentioned, I would've counted the mission you unlock after getting all the gold bricks where you fly around as the death star blowing up planets (it sucks)
i thought it was a pretty fun bonus level tbh. It could have been better (like having the planets be actually specific star wars planets and limiting how many of them there are), but it's nice flying around, destroying the galaxy.
@@mdpl-05 i guess, but at the same time, there's not that much that can be done with a "destroy the galaxy" level, but it's a "destroy the galaxy" level which is enough for me to find it fun. also i think you unlock Starkiller Base as a vehicle and microfighter by completing it.
I guess your right it is boring if you don't enjoy flying around destroying random planets but it's fun for me and its useful if you wanna grind studs and the force awakens level is actually a one million stud challenge.
I absolutely hated new town in tcs because 5 blue studs were missing from the swing set so i had to leave the level losing all of my progress, unlock super zapper to kill the gonks for studs and redo the level again
When I was a kid I absolutely loved Ancient City from Indiana Jones 1, and I’m not quite sure why I loved it so much more than the Star Wars ones but seeing it in this video brought back all the memories of playing that stage.
You forgot to mention that LEGO City was from LSW2, and A New Hope was the very first bonus level, featured in LSW1. Also Anakin's Flight was from LSW1, not 2.
I’m a little surprised you skipped over the Bonus level from Lego Dimensions… but it definitely wouldn’t have ranked too high since it’s just a bunch of enemy waves with a cutscene taken from the game’s original trailer right after. Plus, how many enemy waves you get is determined by how many of the year one franchises you’ve accessed by that point, and it was never updated to include year two…
Guess that explains why I never fought Scooby and Midway enemies, but thank god it didn't add Year two enemies because I'll be there for almost all day.
7:30 excuse me,... what?! Hell no, castle of doom and hostage crisis especially were some of the most fun levels out there. The mini Indiana Jones puzzle, the sniping section, the hamburger puzzle, the boss fight against Anakin, the fact you get to revisit Jabba's palace, playing Dooku and bounty hunters is so cool, the levels were decent lenght too, i dont think youre right at all saying that. Revisit these levels dude.
I would consider the capital ships in The Skywalker Saga to be bonus levels, as they are unrequired missions that do not affect the story in any way, and provide unique battles overall
I only have one small niggle about this list, which otherwise is a great list. You ranked the Lego Marvel Superheroes 1 The Brick Apple, fair enough. But, if you ranked all the Gwenpool missions from Lego Marvel Superheroes 2, I do feel the Deadpool Missions from 1 should've gotten an honourable mention: House Party Protocol Tabloid Tidy-Up Nuff Said A Shock Withdrawal Feeling Fisky Put Up Your Dukes Stunt Show Surprise Reptilian Ruckus Stranger Danger The Thrill of the Chess and Bro-tunheim
I thought the same thing. I think they would have bumped it up the list a little bit. Even though they're short and maybe a tad underdeveloped, they give us a short taste of characters and locations that the main story didn't have time for
Young Indy and the 60s Batman level are probably my favorite. The Voldemort one being 3rd, I appreciate levels that have something fun narratively to offer besides JUST stud gathering and fade to black.
Force awakens had like 6 bonus missions, and 4 dlc bonus missions... Jurassic world also had 5 bonus missions, which were some running segments basically. Also lego marvel had deadpool missions
DC Supervillains doesn’t have three bonus levels. It has five. Also, you gave Same Bat Time, Same Bat Place points for charm, but not The Ride from Pirates of the Caribbean? Plus, Anakin’s Flight wasn’t cut from LEGO Star Wars II. It was cut from the first game.
I don't know how you'd do this but maybe a video ranking the games with best post-games would be cool...? Since you dissed a lot of the superhero games for just having "expanded story" like I wanna know which game has the most replayability (i'd like to imagine it depends on like how big the HUB world is, how many bonus levels, collectables and NPC sidequests they are per game...?) Or maybe ranking which LEGO game has the best character creator...? (though let's all be honest: DC SuperVillains would be #!1)
In all honestly, levels like the one from TCS where you have to collect 1 million studs was just a pain and a half. I would complain if there were more than a million studs in the level, but no. While I appreciate TT's attempt of trying to teach us that the world is sometimes a cruel and unjust world, running around looking for that last stud only to restard the whole level isn't really the way to do it. Watching paint dry was more fun than this The arkham bonus level, for example, of Batman 1 did it exactly like that. You also had to collect a million studs, sure, but atleast there were more than 1 million in the level which made it so much more enjoyable
Man, the Lego star wars 2 DS bonus level should've had an honourable mention. It's a giant desert with nothing in it, except for a giant ewok. And you have to play as salacious crumb.

I understand exluding most of the bonus levels from LEGO TFA but why not at least count the level where you fly around as Starkiller Base/Death Star and destroy planets? It's basically the same as the other levels in the "Destroy the world" category of bonus levels
I agree with the list but I do think the last Indy 1 bonus stage was a massive let down, as it feels more like a test level and just thrown in rather then anything else. I wouldn't be annoyed with it but since that stage requires a full 100% beat of the game to unlock, It would've been nice to have another story game akin to the last crusade young indy level (Maybe either making the warehouse a proper level or making a level based off one of the Young Indiana Jones Tv show episodes). Otherwise, I agree
You've reminded me why I will never become a speedrunner, I find your lack of patience disgusting My favorites are DC Supervillains, Omnidroid, and the Voldemort level
