Looking at this video makes me wonder if not the format of WOW excacerbatet the MSU spam. Since people needed to take two rifle platoons to take two specialist platoons, naturaly there will be players who take two small rifle platoons.
With the new 'Veteran German' boxed set from Warlord containing 6 flamethrowers, we may see more BBQ lists in the future.... Will be interesting to see how the MSU lists finish.
Interesting that your meta is shifting towards gunlines. Our competitive scene in Aus is shifting away from them. I do wonder whether the capacity to explicitly pick your missions and tables in the way that WOW allows, combined with the lack of Fog of War Deployment, has shaped the meta for the event into MSU Gunlines?
I'm starting to think that cheaper veteran medium tanks are a solution to the light autocannon tankette spam. Germany and the USSR are strong but I think Italy is going to end up being ranked highly after a few more tournaments. They have a lot of options.

Only played v3 once so far but I'm hyped to play more. We barely got out of turn 2 so more play is desperately needed.

I play French , and took a char B1 against a list with a lot of light auto cannons and they couldn’t even touch it
