Hey ive joyed your videos so far and wanted to ask a question. Im thinking about starting a Germany army and havent played bolt action before., but played a lot of 40k.(orks) Any tips or advice for units etc.? Thanks
I'm starting to use the 234/4 with either a Flammepanzer III or SD Kfz 251/21 Drilling depending on what is the main threat light armor or veteran mass infantry if it is the former the Drilling if the later then Flammepanzer as if it does run out of fuel then there is 2 MMG's still available. The 234/4 is a very good anti Hellcat counter as it can do everything the Hellcat can do and is similarly armed plus has a front pintle MMG to split fire and pose a problem for airstrikes. The only thing is, it can not go over fences or walls like the fully tracked M-18 hellcat can. Other advantage is it takes the armored car slot and not the tank one. But 3 flamethrowers is the max you can take for the Japanese as you can only have 1 Engineer and flamethrower team option per reinforced platoon then the only flame vehicle the SS Ki. There might be a few theater selectors that allow more but they really are the exception not the rule when it comes to the Japanese.
