Tatting With One Hand Chain and Join

Inspired by the book “Tatting With One Hand” by Helen A. Chesno, this is my 2nd video about this technique. Tatting a chain and joining 2 rings at a picot is shown in this demonstration. A method of tatting for people who have the use of only one hand. It may also help anyone to understand rings and chains in shuttle tatting.

Seems to me you could actually do that without the flip but you might want do it from the wrong side... but thanks so much for the video it really is life-changing

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the video. In this one hand technique, the double stitches are normally "flipped" just like regular shuttle tatting, but do feel free to experiment! Playing with the knots is fun and so much can be learned.
