  • I loaded a Duncan Slash 2.0 set into my Gibson CS 57 Custom. Running through various tones from Clean, 80s Clean, Plexi, JMP, to 5150 III to modern metal tones. I am very impressed with how versatile these pickups are.

I've only got an Epiphone Les Paul Custom, but I'm thinking about a set of these. Sound great and really versatile! Nice playing by the way. Cheers for the video.

You won't be disappointed. I swapped my 490R/489T to these Slash 2.0 set. And I'm glad I did. These days, I prefer playing one of my guitars with Slash pickups. Sadly, I like my Slash 2.0 than my Classic 57. Lol.

@@heut4384 Thanks for the reply. I'm pretty much sold, just got to pull the trigger. Haha! don't know if to be happy for you or not! The Slash 2.0 sound really good. Listened to quite a few and they really stand out.

Nice Joel Thanks! I know you used the original Slash set for a while how do you think these compare?

The 2.0 definitely hits the amp harder than the original Slash set. Tonally they are close, but the 2.0 feels bigger under the fingers. More muscular… if that makes sense. It has displaced the Aldrich set in two of my Les Pauls.

Joel what chorus & delay you using?

The chorus and delay are coming from my Kemper. It’s a CE2 model and a modulated delay on the cleans. For the dirty tones, it’s just a digital delay with the low pass set at 6500k.
