Hi , I have been looking at this for some time ! however I think you do far more off road than me. I love your videos keep them coming. So thank you and I may well go ahead and purchase one.
Hai, thank you so much! =) Well, if you are not keen to roughen your motorbike on dirt tracks, maybe the OEM pedal is just good to go. Especially if the "mushy" pedal feedback doesn't disturb you. If I wouldn't like this wheelie - jumpy - "motocross-ish" riding style, I'd stick with the OEM pedal for sure.
Yes think you are right the "Mushy" sensation is not good! So I think I might treat myself to one for Christmas as I'm also a big fan of Camel products. thanks Gary @@braapt7
If you are looking for firm and short travel brake pedal solution, I think this is the only way yet. I didn't regret this upgrade at all. I am happy I could inspire you! cheers! =)
Just a quick comment to mention that Camel ADV came out with a folding tip for "the fix". I bought it, and it works great. The enduro tip had a tendency to put strain on my knee because I had to angle my foot inward. The folding tip is longer, so it allows me to keep my foot straighter, not placing as much pressure on my knee.
Wow, it's cool! 😮 When I bought the pedal there was no folding tip available. If there were I'd definitely would buy with that one. Good addon, thank you to let me know! ✋🙂 I bought a new Gaerne SG12 boots this Spring, and the knee issue - when turning the ankle to brake - just appeared with it. With my previous - more flexible boots - there was nothing like this. I think it's time to get a new tip for me too! ✌😎
@@braapt7 Yeah, with motocross/enduro boots, the toe box tends to be thinner, I think that is why we need to angle the foot inward, and the boot being stiff causes the knee to strain. In any case, I recommend the folding tip, as with all Camel ADV stuff, it's well engineered!
I put the camel brake fix pedal on my t7. I dont have any regrets purchasing the product, and it does work as advertised. I just want people to know that it does require SIGNIFICANT pressure to lock up the back tire. The rear brake feel is so weird and different getting on my t7 after riding my ktm 300 2t
Yes, exactly! The T7 rear brake is... well, you can not compare it to an enduro or motocross bikes, it's totally as you described: Push it like an old truck brake, and then it works. Someone told me to change the rear brake pump to a NISSIN one, it improves the brake power slightly. Never tried myself. Yet. :)
It's definitely a nice upgrade, especially if you ride off road a lot. However - and I forgot to say this in the video - it's not working if someone prefers an extremely low brake pedal position. (What's unhealthy IMHO)
@@colin20cal This was my second full season with her. She was excellent adventure bike from the beginning, and now - after a lot of tuning and upgrades - even an excellent maxi-enduro. =)
Thank you so much! =) I am happy you like my silly little videos. :D I am still working on this year videos, but already planning what to do next year... I am always so full of ideas and inspiration. ^^

@@ApocalypseNouille Yes, most definitely like this. I will grab one asap for sure. I'll just need to find one for sale here in the EU. ✋🙂
@@ApocalypseNouille I will grab the folding tip asap. Waiting it to appear in one of the EU distributor online shop.

Have already done this to my T7 and yes your right it really does what it says. 👍🏻

@@braapt7 Agreed, a very low brake pedal is a very bad option at the best of time. It offers no control even at low speeds. Love videos.
@@colin20cal Thank you very much!
@@braapt7 How long have you had your T7? I'm three and a half years in and have spent a small fortune on her, but she's worth it.

Yes!! CAMEL it's just a very good brand simply... confirmed. !!
I really like when the inventors are riders at the same time. Best combo, indeed!
@@braapt7 yes !! I agree!! And congrats
And a big hug !! Just go forward with your channel !! You are doing very very well!!
