  • I spent one day traveling through Saga prefecture. Though the weather started a bit rainy, it only added to the beauty of the quaint pottery villages. After spending the morning learning about Arita ware, I drove over to Arita Porcelain Park to wonder the Palace grounds. Why is there a palace here? I really don't know but it was super cool! After being in the rain all day I took a hot bath at Takeo Onsen before finishing my day watching the sunset at Hamanoura no Tanada or rice terraces.

That palace is gorgeous! Hard to believe it's just a theme park. There's some amazing landscapes there!

Yeah, I think it's a little strange to have such a nice building like this as just part of an amusement park but that's Japan for you.

Thanks for watching it. I'm glad you enjoyed my video. Pottery may not seem exciting to many but that village really was so cute and fun to explore.

It's so strange that there is even a palace in this random place in Japan. But then again, that's Japan for you. Glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you. Even though it rained most of the time, I think it kind of made this place seem more mysterious and charming.

Sorry that it is raining, but so great that you can go in and still enjoy yourself! Make the most of it for sure! Really enjoying the color- grading in this video too! Making everything handmade is extra special especially for al the pottery. Every time we think of Onsen, we always think of spirited away! We recently just watched that too :) You looked so relaxed afterwards for sure!!! How do you find time to do the drone too!?!?

It's always raining in this region so It's no surprise that I would get caught in the rain. But a little rain can't stop me from enjoying the sights. In fact, I think it added to the beauty of the mountainous area and made visiting onsen that much sweeter.

It was relatively quiet during the time of my visit. However, that made the visit there all the more special.
