Try to off your ligths make sure your room or in your place is totally black out and project in your wall make sure its white or use any white just plain white it will be good
For those that are upside down go to settings and turn on assesive touch and when ur on the video that's upside down click the assesive touch and go to the rotate button and just rotate it if that makes sense
does the quality and size of the output picture depends on the size of magnifying glass ? even 1080p quality video play with full brightness,still the quality is quite low , why so? is it necessary to close with lid?

No is still a liiiiiil but blury and even if u put ur phone in high brightness is still a bit low brightness on the wall or a.e u reflect it on
