If u were pro , u would know that even small wholes in the box can ruin the vision

It actually worked for me and what I have noticed is that you will only get a bigger image if the lens is big
At my child hood days my friends and me get together and make same as you did ,but in that time (90s) there was cinema reels . The picture will get perfect clear just like slide show .

You can do it with a gutted light bulb filled with water too if you can't find out which thickness of the magnifying glass to use. I can't find it either. So I think I'll go with the bulb.

Working but not clear picture
Susil Prem adjust the phone in box closer the magnifying glass if moving box from wall. the picture will dim, unless you have a very bright phone light.
if you move the shoe box closer to the wall, the phone must be moved further back to the end of the box. it does not show bright, but it does show. i think i need a bigger magnifying glass.
