As a new Evernote Certified Expert I watch you and other experts to learn from you. This is great because I get some insight into how an experienced consultant interacts with clients. Thanks!
The videos are fantastic, I've had Evernote for 7 years and it's my favorite friend. I ask how I can pass through Photo or Scanner directly all my purchase receipts to my note or notebook. Thank you and I remain attentive to your pleasant comments. Luis Valencia Colombia!
I love this video. It gives a context to how the different options can be used. It’s a story that you walked through. I’d appreciate more videos like this. Thanks and keep up the great work.
Thank you for the feedback. I'll definitely publish more videos like this in the future. Actually, this type of video was my initial goal for the channel. However, I quickly noticed that I have to have many tutorials to be able to point people to, while explaining everyday-topics like this. For now, here are two playlists with similar videos. Thank you for the great video. So many ideas. The one challenge I have is that when I went to create a filter, there was no option for ïncomplete”and “completed” tasks. I only have tasks. Is this a professional or teams feature. I am on the personal plan as it is only myself.
This was one of my favorite features coming back to Evernote. So much easier than OneNote. My Calendar is just read only from Outlook 365 but works perfectly quickly create a note with details. I then tag it with Call, Meeting, and or if a focus customer, their name tag.
Actually, the reason it is called Evernote (0:54 in the video) has to do with the way it worked long before it became an online app! The original Evernote app was a windows app that took notes in the form a continuous scroll (yes it looked like an ancient scroll before paper). As you added notes it would continuously scroll and never run out. Thus the name Evernote. I remember downloading it onto my computer and loving it. It had no online capabilities at that time and very few features. Just one endless scroll! I also remember being upset when Evernote announced they we going to an online format. Boy, was I wrong! I am glad they did! I have been using it from the very beginning, when it was a fledgling windows only app.
You are right, but I was mostly talking about the “note” part of the name 😉 I do remember that first version. EverNote with a capital “N”. Months ago, I published a picture of that old notes list on my community tab. I would love to have that date-ruler back. 👇 ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxlXKUW33S2pNEM7Ch7taaz-ELGJbutZmK As for the web version, I found it a great addition. Then, there was the iPhone App. In my case, it was the iPod Touch App. It took me a while to buy an iPhone. Anyway, Evernote was the first App with a seamless synchronization of notes. It was magical. Back then, not even Apple Notes would sync with the Mac.
I started using it as a task manager a month ago, and there are many videos about this topic on my conveyor belt. Just released one today 😉 👇 ua-cam.com/video/YWlmB6gkzIA/v-deo.html

I'd say Home itself is my favorite feature 😊 Anyway, using the Calendar with tags, like you are doing, is outstanding.
Very practical as always Vlad.

Vladimir, magnífico como siempre. Por otro lado, quería preguntarte si utilizas evernote como gestor de tareas? Y qué ventajas le ves? Gracias
