Great tips! I, too, am trying to incorporate tasks instead of my usual checklists. It certainly does take an investment of time to really become familiar with how they work and how one's workflow can incorporate them, but I see them as useful enough to make that investment. Picked up at least a couple of tips here and have tweaked my settings accordingly - thanks!
I started using it as a Task Manager a month ago, and there are many videos about this topic coming. Just released one of them today 😉 👇 ua-cam.com/video/YWlmB6gkzIA/v-deo.html
Sorry, at least for now, I have no plans for videos comparing Apps. It's never apples to apples comparison. Each App/service has different approaches to similar features and, ultimately, it all depends on which one resonates better with each person's style of doing things. Think about what are your most important needs. What are you looking to solve and try both with that in mind. But always remember, it's not the App. They are only tools. You need a productivity system. In other words, try to figure out which one is the best fit for your system.
It is a shame that the widget in Android work so bad, only just for that is a reason enough for me to don't use EV for task managing, I stick to the app MS Todo because is much realiable syncing and the widget which make easer to write down task in the app at least in Android. Thank you so mucho for your effort with your tutorials
Sorry to hear that 🙁 I'm not a Task widget user, but I can see how it can be a big problem. I suggest opening a support ticket or writing about it on the official forum.
Agree. Having a starting date is essential. The due date is when it is expected to be completed. I talk about this one may calendar vs tasks video. 👇 ua-cam.com/video/w72ocLIO0wE/v-deo.html

Great video. One question. On my devices the note card previews don't show the Notebook title, is it a setting I am missing?

Can you make a video and compare Evernote vs Amplenote?

And which one are your system?
I use my own system. Every video on my channel that is not a tutorial about an Evernote feature, is a part of my system.

Sometimes it is helpful to plan by Start date and not by Due Date.
