I'm sure by now someone has told you that the "Turkey Feather" nozzles were only on the early F-15A's and JASDF F-15J's. :-) Nice build!
Don't see too many F-15's with turkey feathers!
Uhhh, Anyone noticed the bug at 26:12?
That is a very nice F-15 kit, Academy really has their act together these days!
I saw this actual aircraft at the FANG open house in 2015 while visiting Fresno Ca.
Wow...that must have been a buzz mate.
Your F-15 turned out wonderfully. I like the painting and weathering. Too bad the canopy cracked. Also, I would have liked to see a pilot figure in the cockpit. Populated planes look better. Hahahahahahaha. KUTGW. Bill
Thanks mate. Yeah i was really disappointed that i cracked the canopy. My own fault i just have to way more gentle with them.
Awesome job there mate you done a great job there i might try the sharpie pen for the panel lines thanks for sharing
Thanks mate. I love using the sharpie as it give you great control and is easy to remove mistakes.
I noticed you use the old Verlinden method for canopy masks, do you have any issues when you remove them (like residue left on the canopy).
Yeah it does leave a small amount but i just clean it off with some polish and this also shines up the glass a bit. I sometimes use tamiya tape instead of bare metal foil and this does not lead anything behind. I only use the tape when the canopy has well raised frame for me to follow.
This is a fantastic Build mate well done my friend .
Thanks mate.

How'd you camoflauge it?
