As a heart/double lung transplant recipient this really makes me angry. You can't buy organs. This makes people feel like if they donate their organs they might not go to those most in need and then people choose not to donate. I'm tired of folks creating drama around organs and tissue donation. We don't have enough donors as it is!
There are questions about why tens or hundreds of thousands change hands but donors don’t receive recompense in any form, not in the ability to choose the circumstances of their donation nor funeral/medical costs.
