YES PLEASE!! being gen z is like constantly being placed off by older generations,, yes we may have more than what the older generations had, but i wish they'd know that we're still just teenagers who have normal puberty and existential problems
For me po, the concept of "adulthood" is when you can made right decisions for yourself and someone. Parang ikaw po ang magiging pundasyon sa buhay ng mga tao sa paligid mo. Another thing po is parang there is no specific age needed as long as may capacity to think. This concept po is somewhat related to the things I watched, like the anime "Promised Neverland", wherein although mga bata sila, the oldest child or the one with the matured mind stood up to become the adult among them. Even though as a child, we can say na parang siya na ang tumatayong adult that made decisions for them.

Society forces us to become adults even though we aren't ready for it yet, but what can I say nobody is really prepared for adulthood. There's no instruction manual to life- you have to learn as you grow and give the best foot forward no matter the circumstance you're in.

I'm currently 19, and aaminin kong irresponsable pa ako. Kasi personal documents ko tinatamad pa akong lakarin. Pero di ko na rin masyadong iniisip sapagkat inaalagaan ko ang mental health ko at iniisip ko nalang na matapos lang itong pandemiya, aayusin ko na lahat.

Currently 19 years old and I stop studying due to I was diagnosed panic attacks disorder and baka bumalik ako next year and matotwo years gap ako okay lang ba talaga ito natatakot ako kasi everytime I see post from my ex classmates and nagmomove forward and third year college na sila pagbalik ko and 1st year pa lang ako di ko alam okay lang ba talaga ito 😢

Once you take accountability on the consequences of your tasks or responsibilities and its outcome..... that's when you can say that you're already an adult. However adulthood has nothing to do with age and disposition in life. It's a social construct we built so as to feel we're doing something with our lives. If you can live freely and act as if nothings going to happen for a day and go back to your usual 9-5 life....that's fine....that's life. Life is how we make it....so live freely, guilt free and with full accountability.

actually not just sunscreen dapat... you need to apply retinol rin sa gabi.... basically sunscreen prevents free radicals from damaging your skin and retinol builds it (ur skin) back up and sometimes may other antioxidants siya so it prevents you from looking physically older
theres smthng we call residual oxygen particles and these particles makes you physically look older na makikita sa wrinkles ng forehead, saggy eye bags, crow’s feet sa side ng eyes, sagging neck line, and wrinkled n pruned fingers and hands.... so always always follow the golden rule
Day: cleanse, tone, apply spf, moisturize
Night: same steps pero instead of spf use retinol and maybe serums before moisturizing
Also apply spf every 4 hours

My definition of adulting is becoming numb to all the crap of life, little by little. Unlike when I was young were the biggest problems would really pull me emotionally and cripple the heck of me. Now when I confront my biggest problems, I will still cry, get stress and have anxiety but despite all these conditions I can still think rationally and do the things I need too. Every time I finish crying or what, I become a little more numb. That's adulting for me. I would not say that my definition of adulting is correct because I am still 19 so this might change soon.

In my opinion, you're really only an adult when you become independent. Kapag hindi ka na nanghihingi ng baon sa magulang mo or kung hindi mo na kailangan magpaalam to go wherever you want. Kapag ikaw na nagbabayad ng sarili mong bills at nakabukod ka na sa family mo.
Correction: It's just 'Estate Tax' and not 'Real Estate Tax' and included in the basis both personal and real properties ☺️ By law, heirs cannot claim the decedent's properties without paying such tax.

I can relate with Jan’s slow adulting with regards to estate tax comcerns. Doing all that while still mourning my mom’s passing and telling yourself to be strong in my most vulnerable form. 🙃
Another thing I could say that I have grown into an adult is fashion. Mas nirerefine mo yung style mo. You try out clothes that suits you. Nagdadagdag ng basics then yung mga edgier pieces kumokonte na or you just find a way to make the clothes feel like it’s still you pero more comfy and relaxed.

Parang ang bias naman kapag tayo mismo yung tatawag sa sarili nating 'Adult' na tayo. I think we should let other people do/think that instead of us. Kaya din nagiging self entitled na masyado yung mga ibang tao at hindi na naga-accept ng mga mistakes or nag g-grow dahil tingin nila sa sarili nila they are already an adult and know it all.

Ako siguro noong 19 ako, saakin pinapatago yung pera, sabihin nating 5 digits, yung feeling na ma-tetempt ka hahaha na gastosin. Buti na lang hindi. :) for me they think I'm adult/responsible. Tsaka nong 18 ako, ako lang yung pwede magbantay kay lola sa ospital kasi ako yung marunong magalaga, magpalit ng diaper etc. etc. ako din yung pinagbilinan nung pera niya that time.
