i feel like i'm toxic when i expect people to give the same thing i give. I get mad when I don't receive the same treatment. I blame people just bc i assumed we're on the same page. sometimes i forgot that people have their own life. This made me realize that i'm toxic enough for controlling other people and forcing them to do what I think is good for me and not for them. So I saved them from me, i cut them off bc I don't want to be known as someone's negativity.

When a 'friend' keeps on invalidating your feelings, and sometimes, your ideas.
Toxicity means two persons. It could possibly be a person who gives his environment a sense of uncomfortability in a way that he act so off the line. Or, a person who points someone as 'toxic' well in-fact, it's the narrowness and shallowness of his mind that triggers him to nitpick someone and just point someone as toxic. TOXIC.
Everyone has his/her own toxic traits. Thus, someone should develop self awareness towards others and oneself. It is where you understand each other and compromise. (Para lang sakin) ✌️

Have healthy boundaries. Cutting off someone is not a bad thing. It is for your own sake and to have healthy mind and perspective in life
Coming from a toxic friendship:
-body shamed so hard for being thin
-parang may halong insecurity whenever you achieved something
-called you crazy or sakitin or prinsesa (I have several health problems which require me to take a lot of medication)
-rejected your suggestions and indirectly told you that your suggestions suck

I had the same experience lalo na sa 1st and 2nd. Pero buti di na rin ako friends with her. Madalas na sabihin niya sa akin is "hindi kita binabody shame ha, pero ang payat mo talaga" tapos minsan she'll measure my wrist using her hand. Giiirl ano yon?! Tapos prinoproject niya yung insecurities niya sa akin just to make herself feel good pero in the expense of hurting me.

What does invalidation means?
Gosh! This is very timely to me. I just evaluated how to smart-handle these people. But I guess if it really bothers your mental health and like what Einj said na it's breaking your core as a person then I think that's the time you call-out or you cut ties that relationship. You are responsible to your own welfare and peace of mind, that's one concrete reason. Kaya kahit masakit na i-end ang ano mang toxic relationship na meron ka, you should end it.
I really love the sensibility of these people. Idagdag mo pa yung sense of humor nila. 🙌🏼

Its been almost a year that i cut off my childhood friend and my life is much better now. We've known each other for 20yrs. I was the only one constant in her life back then. For the last 3-5yrs she was just so toxic. It was so draining to be with her, took me long to realize lol. So, ayun wag manghinayang sa friendship. Unahin mental health. Cut them off.

I just ended a 7 year friendship with my ex-bestfriend and it's one of the best thing I've done this year for myself. Na realize ko kasi na I did outgrow him and he's still there not learning from his mistakes. I've given him so many chances but it never worked out.
Pinakatoxic friends para saakin is yung friends ko during my elementary days. Those time wala talaga akong confidence to defend myself. Those times na they manipulate me to be someone I'm not. Minsan natatakot ako kase baka ako yung toxic na person Just because I see others behavior na di okay. Iniisip ko na baka mali yung tingin ko sakanila. That's why nilalawakan ko nalang din yung pag iisip ko when it comes to talking to others. Pero meron tlagng i ccross yung boundary na medyo disturbing na talaga. That's when I distance myself.
I choose ppl who I wanted to be with. But I also respect others din naman, nakikihalubilo din but sguro may boundary nga lang when it comes to openness. At the end of the day, be with someone who is good for your mental health. And friends who listens and brings joy to you.
