I still think the first one is the best. A short game, a poignant message. People drift apart. That relationship wouldn't have survived had you just acted differently. Sometimes life just doesn't work out that way. Emily doesn't end up with you. I think the negative Steam reviews really show how subtle that first game is. People complain about how you can't end up with her, but that's the point. Sometimes people make choices that seem unfair, and that's just how it is.
I’ll never forget watching Jacksepiceye play through Emily is away too and he just gave so much guidance and life advice. Definitely changed me a bit as a middle schooler and now after playing the third one as an adult it just felt so strange, but I love the series with all my heart! i absolutely love the idea in game three thatyou can't get the girl you want. it's like in life you don't always get the first person you wanted but you still fine happiness with some else. i think this was a pretty weird way to implement it, locking it behind a second playthrough, but i still like the idea behind it. but then again i guess the idea is giving the game a second chance is like giving someone else a second chance. it can be a little frustrating or annoying even and ultimately, it's up for you to decide whether it was worth it or not
I played Emily is away and Emily is away 2 when they came out and loved them. I never knew the 3rd one came out until I was going through a really rough breakup from a 4 year relationship and a friend told me to play it. OMG Emily is away 3 is real, I played it and genuinely felt like I was back in my relationship that fell apart. I got blindsided by my ex becuase she got her own “Steve” to Evelyn, and chose to trust her. I could replace all the names in the game with names of people in my real life and it lined up perfectly. Helped me reflect and cope with what had happened a lot, honestly I owe being able to move on with my life to that game. Never has a game touched my life to a degree even close to Emily is away 3.

when I was in highschool I wanted to romance Evelyn in Emily is away 2. With Emily is away 3 I bought the game when it first came out and only played two chapters (with Evelyn) in until I put it down for three years for some reason. I finally decided to finish the other day and I restarted it and found myself more drawn toward Emily. I appreciated her in a way I never did before, the way she contrasted Evelyn's wildness, and reminded me of someone who I wanted to be after all my years of parties and stuff. Being a gamer, having a cookout and just being chill with Emily was actually so wonderful and I found myself getting emotional in the end when we separated. I started my new route with Evelyn but was ultimately disappointed to see they were virtually the same person, and almost put it down fully again until I saw this video. I'm realizing now if I complete my second play through with Evelyn I will have finally got her like I always wanted... but now I want that person to be Emily, not Evelyn. Its so bittersweet in a way. I cant put it into words the feeling it gives me. Like I conveyed the games message of bitter sweet change to myself without even realizing it. love you Emily

Anyways, I was both pleasantly surprised and emotionally damaged from playing the game. Strong message and even though it didn't happen to me it was something I realized could happen. i like how the games all represent real aspects to many parts of life because everyone has their own experiences, their own views, and perspectives. And we can all kind of take away what we want to from these games, whether we choose to give meaning or we do not. In the end, we just accept it and move forward because that's just how life goes.

After the lectures Mat and Emily gave at the end, I didn't think the alternate ending would show the bad side of blind trust, but now I'm glad to see it did. Setting clear boundaries is always the way to go, I wasn't gonna let her gaslight my guy in any way :p Very fun games, glad I found the first one untouched in my library yesterday.
For me personally, I would go to the extent of this is one of the best game series I have ever played. Not saying it is the best. Because obviously there is stuff like red dead redemption, grand theft auto series. But just how this series makes you feel afterwards for ageees is unlike anything I’ve ever felt in a game.

What made the first so good is we’ve all had someone and had to watch them fall out of love with you while you’re helpless. And if you play the game truthfully to you it’s a way of seeing how you would act in the situation now.

I remember the first time I watched Sean's (Jacksepticeye) playthrough of 1 and 2 and I remember going through both and getting just as invested as he was. After it was over I just had this emptiness, y'know? Like this big gaping hole that kinda sat there for a while. Although I haven't rewatched it in a long time, the words "emily is away" or anything to do with it like the door sound still give me that same feeling all these years later. Didn't even know there was a 3rd until I looked at the timestamps on the video. Man, that's crazy. I think my favorite thing was always the dialogue options. The most striking moments that hurt so bad were when your character would be typing something and then stop midway through and erase it and start typing something else. Like, UGH THAT HURTS. It's so gutwrenching dude. Especially when the original thing being typed was genuine and straight from the heart and the thing they'd replace it with would be so generic and whatever. It sucks. That feeling of "what if?" and "what could've been?" is like a leech. Eating at you to the point where you can't stand it. The 1st game does it really well where the 2 of you start off really close and then by the end get really standoff-ish. Or was that the 2nd? I dunno, both games stuck with me but I get them mixed up a lot. I see them as 1 complete experience instead of 2 games. Pretty sure that was the 1st though. I dunno if I wanna see the 3rd. I love the series, but I know how much the first 2 made me so sad. Don't doubt it's good. Great games though. Definitely left an impression on me and evidently a lotta other people.
17:20 Oh boy, after playing my first dating sim, i had a realization on what my choices were. LIke it was what they liked but not who i was. From then on, whenever i played a dating sim id make sure to pick the choice that reflects me the most. (Success rate on getting with the person i aimed for is about 30% a lot of heartbreaks all around...)
Just played the first game, and I was surprised about the ending, tried looking up a good ending, and stumbled upon this video. I understand the message now and I'm glad i played this game to understand that things won't always go my way.
My first relationship was someone from high school, things were steady for 3 weeks until we just broke up, I got clingy and acted like a dick about it. Til junior year where we just tied the bond we have, but just as friends, that friendship has remained a constant thing that made high school so much more bearable for me. And I eventually found fun at the end of my senior year. I think what Emily is away taught me looking back at it is that relationships take time, but make sure you make it clear that you’re interested but not necessarily out right saying “let’s do it asap” relationships come and go, but friendships, that’s forever (what was learned for 3). 2 of course was about honesty. I think it’s not a lonely game, but it’s an introspective look at how stupid high school versions of us were. But I think there’s some positivity from these games, 1 is if you start seeing other Emily, you move on from a dying relationship with a dead end, 2 is if you’re honest you keep one as a friend but get a gf in the end, and 3 is the most positive no matter what happens with love, your friends are always there for you
It's really such a realistic game to me to the point that I just can't watch it anymore because it makes me depressed imagining this happening to me or someone else.
I'm surprised you guys had an issue with THAT question on the second game. I guess my poor interpretation saved my game. I ended up with Evelyn in the second and third game (on a second playthrough). (BTW, didn't know about that second slot thing on the third one. I got really lucky to ended up with the girl i liked the most)
Frankly, I've really liked winning second slot in third game. I've started second slot without knowing that it doomed to win. So it's just so very special, when in the start of fifth act you see your photos with the girl instead hers with "friend". And it's just it. I was like "Whoa, something changed" and it was stunning. And then you feel warm in conv with the girl, you feel that it is different. And also, about change of a girl to win. Kinda make sense to me too. I felt, like, personally doubt in Emily (first girl in my case). So when I got good ending with Eva it felt pretty much personal. Like, i hated Emily for being ass, but Eva is different person and it's like making me love her even more.
Couldn't. Be. Me. I personally can't and will never be able to self insert with any protagonist that wants people to self insert because it just doesn't work, Can't speak for anyone else but i can't relate to awkward interactions trying to get with someone that i've known for years.
36:00 - This problem with the getting the girl was talked about in the forums upon the release. I personally don't have a problem with getting the girl. People did not like that the characters were empty that you couldn't get with them, so it was assumed that the dev took feedback and changed the dynamic. However, this is a paid game. The consensus is that it's likely to make the game worth the $10 as replay value, in a way to pad it out. It's also very common in a lot of RPGs (Super Robot Wars, for example), that you can make different choices in a NG+, so it might've been borrowing from that too.
The biggest con of this series is that not all the games are connected with a timeline like in my first Gameplay I got bad ending and broke up with Evelyn. So on my second gameplay I did not mess up and still be girlfriend at end. When I brought the third one I was shocked that it starts from the beginning. Emily and Evelyn are starting become friends BEFORE You date between them. I thought it was a continued from the second you know collage.
I started with 3 and knew nothing about the two games preceding it. I thought by the title that eventually Emily was gonna die or something, so even though I like the art and horror girl Evelyn better I thought I should try wooing Emily first(well her name is in the game)… eventually I did feel falling in love with her for I found her persona and hairstyle are actually quite like my old crush’s. I began to regret it when I read the wiki😢Never should have read the wiki. All I was thinking at the last chapter is that Em why dont we just break up and be bff, but she was like ‘i want to be friend with u u kno, but it is not about Jeff.’ [Hello? isnt that wall of urs all about Jeff?] This Emily is so awful, it is just fine that she doesn't love me, but her playing dumb and trying to gaslight me at the last chap is just so insane and hurtful
Honestly, when I saw this game on my free to play recommendations, I immediately added it to my computer since I had a friend who, you guessed it, was also named Emily, which was because her and I had a weird falling out that I still don’t know all the details, so I was hoping that this game would make me feel better about what happened, but, it didn’t, in fact, this game basically recreated the events, but in reverse, which to be honest, no other game has made me feel that way before, so this is a 10/10 game, still hurts me though, and as the thumbnail says: “The loneliest game series” it definitely makes me feel lonely, or more like that whatever I do, I’ll always end up alone, even with the end of the first game (which much is the only one I’ve played as of making this comment) Also, if you can, if you have any leads on where Emily/EverythingChiaki/Marceline is on the internet, please let me know, and/or if you have any other details on my friend (or ex-friend, as I said, details are a bit complicated), please let me know in any way.

I remember playing the first game getting to the end then being curious what other people got I jumped around from channel to channel to see what UA-camrs got what ending now this was around the peak of what would later be known as the vanoss crew so I mainly jumped around the various members I started with Wildcat, then I went to H20 Delirious, then Nogla, then Mini Ladd before the accusations, then I eventually landed on Jacksepticeyes and as im jumping from channel to channel I slowly realized that there was many different endings but non of them was a good one and that realization is what really got me hooked and got me into the series because at the time I was soo used to there being a good ending, in telltale games there's good endings, id always go for the good ending of BO2, hell even Grand Theft Auto V had a good, bad and evil ending with Option C being good, killing Michael being bad and killing Trevor being Evil the only other game I've played where there isn't really a good ending was in the same Grand Theft Auto series in Grand Theft Auto IV where you have the choice of doing the deal which will get Roman killed, or getting revenge on Dimitri and getting your girlfriend Kate McReary the sister of one of the best mission givers and eventual heist member Packie McReary which is really the only sweet kind and mostly innocent person in liberty city killed no matter what your actions gets someone else killed thats the only game ive played to that point with no good ending and for a game like Emily is away having no good ending shocked me and was a great change of pace and not only that it felt Soo real it didn't feel like a video game I've had friendships end exactly like that where the conversations slowly got more and more dry till it eventually died and I never spoke to them again it's just so real it's almost unbelievable I love this game series and honestly kinda wanna replay it
Emily is Away 1-3 are great games imo. Let me preface this with both games hit at times when I was going through some stuff over relationships. The 2nd when I first played I did the Evelyn route and ran into the same thing over the settling down part. Went into the third chapter with the timer thing on the second play through and just decided screw Evelyn ghosted her and stayed focused on Emily. My desktop still has the chapter 5 conversation with Emily downloaded on my desktop even 5 years later. JackSepticEye’s play through was very knowledgeable for his advice he was giving during it. Ze had one of my favorites and being with Chilled for his and Ze knowing what was coming made Chilled’s a funny play through As for Emily is Away
Everyone seems to think that in the last chapter of the first game, Emily just no longer cares about the player character's feelings for her -- but to me that doesn't seem right. I think Emily still has feelings. It's clear there were mutual feelings between the two as evidenced by the fact that she wanted the player character to kiss her under the stars during their walk while at Travis's party. You could also argue that the feelings for the player character were more consistent throughout, and even apparent to the player character, as evidenced by the fact that you have an option to set boundaries and have her visit just as a friend. Regardless of how that goes, it ends badly, as we already know. She visits with or without alcohol or boundaries, she gets upset. You don't let her visit, she gets upset saying that that visit would've been the best time for her and the player character to get together. In the last chapter, Emily says she doesn't want to relive memories or is tired of reliving memories. To me, this indicates a kind of regret in Emily about the past. Regrets about her, the player character, and the fact that it just didn't work out. She still is upset and hurt about it. She's just cold and distant because she doesn't want to keep reminding herself about that pain. It's not that she doesn't care. Also, it just seems like the relationship never worked out because of fear, and they didn't want to screw anything up with their friends, or lose each other as friends since they were really good for each other. Just my thoughts. Of course there is no right way to think about the story or one right answer. This is just what it means to me, and it'll mean something different for everyone else.

honestly for emily is away 3 i feel like the ending i got came full circle. spoilers btw but i ended up going to see my friend while emily and emma were the ones to go hang out at the party. and going to see my friend to deal with my problems is what started the drama between emily. like it felt like the end to emily but not the end of everything if that makes much sense.
I hate third game, it repetativness, it's lack of variety in stories, it's copypaste characters. It absolutely ruined entire series for me. Still love second though. Maybe I gonna replay it some day. Emily and Evelyn in two were much more destinct from one another - much like their boyfriends. Also I really the idea "you have to beat game twice to get a good ending" part because of again - how long and monotones it gets.

You forgot to mention that in the third game there's the option to not trust Emily or Evelyn and break up with them and then get the most depressing ending ever where you're left all alone by your friends who pretty much just get mad at you for breaking Emily or Evelyn's heart and you get uninvited to Mat's birthday party while Emily or Evelyn get invited.
I personally would love for the third game to date mat lol, the MC's character seems more optionable in terms of genders and I would have loved to he's the best he conforted me after Emily ruined everything I hate her Evelyn is just better.
I'm going to be honest. I would never get into a game like this. Your description of it is far more interesting than actually playing it. I just don't think I enjoy it. Look don't get me wrong I did use AIM to communicate with my friends and with some girls I knew back then in the early 2000s when I was a teenager, but here's one thing that's really unrealistic that I'm surprised you didn't point out. How you are being timed for taking too long to respond. That actually doesn't make much sense. Everybody who I've talked to has never had that issue. Sure it gets annoying when you're talking to somebody and they were just talking to you and then all of a sudden you're waiting for like 10 minutes for them to respond but they don't even give you that much time in the game. Also in the third game it should have been a parody of Myspace not Facebook. Yes Facebook was big in the late 2000s but my space was still big at the time too. MySpace was the biggest social network for good chunk of the 2000s. Bigger than Facebook. If they wanted to make it appear dated or be like that time it should have been on MySpace parody because Facebook is clearly still around and I mean if they did a fourth game it would just be on Facebook again anyways because that was even more popular throughout the 2010s.
Hmm, I just find that kind of naive. I get the MySpace thing, although I would consider that a minor criticism. I would recommend playing the series, or even the first game due to its short length. Just to gather an opinion for your own without an external source. Interesting to hear your input though!

Like, UGH THAT HURTS. It's so gutwrenching dude. Especially when the original thing being typed was genuine and straight from the heart and the thing they'd replace it with would be so generic and whatever. It sucks.
That feeling of "what if?" and "what could've been?" is like a leech. Eating at you to the point where you can't stand it. The 1st game does it really well where the 2 of you start off really close and then by the end get really standoff-ish.
Or was that the 2nd? I dunno, both games stuck with me but I get them mixed up a lot. I see them as 1 complete experience instead of 2 games. Pretty sure that was the 1st though.
I dunno if I wanna see the 3rd. I love the series, but I know how much the first 2 made me so sad. Don't doubt it's good.

From then on, whenever i played a dating sim id make sure to pick the choice that reflects me the most. (Success rate on getting with the person i aimed for is about 30% a lot of heartbreaks all around...)
Just played the first game, and I was surprised about the ending, tried looking up a good ending, and stumbled upon this video. I understand the message now and I'm glad i played this game to understand that things won't always go my way.

Welp, just played the first game, only broke my heart and shattered my soul :)
My first relationship was someone from high school, things were steady for 3 weeks until we just broke up, I got clingy and acted like a dick about it. Til junior year where we just tied the bond we have, but just as friends, that friendship has remained a constant thing that made high school so much more bearable for me. And I eventually found fun at the end of my senior year. I think what Emily is away taught me looking back at it is that relationships take time, but make sure you make it clear that you’re interested but not necessarily out right saying “let’s do it asap” relationships come and go, but friendships, that’s forever (what was learned for 3). 2 of course was about honesty. I think it’s not a lonely game, but it’s an introspective look at how stupid high school versions of us were. But I think there’s some positivity from these games, 1 is if you start seeing other Emily, you move on from a dying relationship with a dead end, 2 is if you’re honest you keep one as a friend but get a gf in the end, and 3 is the most positive no matter what happens with love, your friends are always there for you

I'm surprised you guys had an issue with THAT question on the second game. I guess my poor interpretation saved my game. I ended up with Evelyn in the second and third game (on a second playthrough). (BTW, didn't know about that second slot thing on the third one. I got really lucky to ended up with the girl i liked the most)

Frankly, I've really liked winning second slot in third game. I've started second slot without knowing that it doomed to win. So it's just so very special, when in the start of fifth act you see your photos with the girl instead hers with "friend". And it's just it. I was like "Whoa, something changed" and it was stunning. And then you feel warm in conv with the girl, you feel that it is different. And also, about change of a girl to win. Kinda make sense to me too. I felt, like, personally doubt in Emily (first girl in my case). So when I got good ending with Eva it felt pretty much personal. Like, i hated Emily for being ass, but Eva is different person and it's like making me love her even more.

36:00 - This problem with the getting the girl was talked about in the forums upon the release.
I personally don't have a problem with getting the girl. People did not like that the characters were empty that you couldn't get with them, so it was assumed that the dev took feedback and changed the dynamic.
However, this is a paid game. The consensus is that it's likely to make the game worth the $10 as replay value, in a way to pad it out. It's also very common in a lot of RPGs (Super Robot Wars, for example), that you can make different choices in a NG+, so it might've been borrowing from that too.

The biggest con of this series is that not all the games are connected with a timeline like in my first Gameplay I got bad ending and broke up with Evelyn. So on my second gameplay I did not mess up and still be girlfriend at end. When I brought the third one I was shocked that it starts from the beginning. Emily and Evelyn are starting become friends BEFORE You date between them. I thought it was a continued from the second you know collage.

I started with 3 and knew nothing about the two games preceding it. I thought by the title that eventually Emily was gonna die or something, so even though I like the art and horror girl Evelyn better I thought I should try wooing Emily first(well her name is in the game)… eventually I did feel falling in love with her for I found her persona and hairstyle are actually quite like my old crush’s. I began to regret it when I read the wiki😢Never should have read the wiki. All I was thinking at the last chapter is that Em why dont we just break up and be bff, but she was like ‘i want to be friend with u u kno, but it is not about Jeff.’ [Hello? isnt that wall of urs all about Jeff?] This Emily is so awful, it is just fine that she doesn't love me, but her playing dumb and trying to gaslight me at the last chap is just so insane and hurtful

Honestly, when I saw this game on my free to play recommendations, I immediately added it to my computer since I had a friend who, you guessed it, was also named Emily, which was because her and I had a weird falling out that I still don’t know all the details, so I was hoping that this game would make me feel better about what happened, but, it didn’t, in fact, this game basically recreated the events, but in reverse, which to be honest, no other game has made me feel that way before, so this is a 10/10 game, still hurts me though, and as the thumbnail says: “The loneliest game series” it definitely makes me feel lonely, or more like that whatever I do, I’ll always end up alone, even with the end of the first game (which much is the only one I’ve played as of making this comment)
Also, if you can, if you have any leads on where Emily/EverythingChiaki/Marceline is on the internet, please let me know, and/or if you have any other details on my friend (or ex-friend, as I said, details are a bit complicated), please let me know in any way.

I remember playing the first game getting to the end then being curious what other people got I jumped around from channel to channel to see what UA-camrs got what ending now this was around the peak of what would later be known as the vanoss crew so I mainly jumped around the various members I started with Wildcat, then I went to H20 Delirious, then Nogla, then Mini Ladd before the accusations, then I eventually landed on Jacksepticeyes and as im jumping from channel to channel I slowly realized that there was many different endings but non of them was a good one and that realization is what really got me hooked and got me into the series because at the time I was soo used to there being a good ending, in telltale games there's good endings, id always go for the good ending of BO2, hell even Grand Theft Auto V had a good, bad and evil ending with Option C being good, killing Michael being bad and killing Trevor being Evil the only other game I've played where there isn't really a good ending was in the same Grand Theft Auto series in Grand Theft Auto IV where you have the choice of doing the deal which will get Roman killed, or getting revenge on Dimitri and getting your girlfriend Kate McReary the sister of one of the best mission givers and eventual heist member Packie McReary which is really the only sweet kind and mostly innocent person in liberty city killed no matter what your actions gets someone else killed thats the only game ive played to that point with no good ending and for a game like Emily is away having no good ending shocked me and was a great change of pace and not only that it felt Soo real it didn't feel like a video game I've had friendships end exactly like that where the conversations slowly got more and more dry till it eventually died and I never spoke to them again it's just so real it's almost unbelievable I love this game series and honestly kinda wanna replay it
Emily is Away 1-3 are great games imo. Let me preface this with both games hit at times when I was going through some stuff over relationships. The 2nd when I first played I did the Evelyn route and ran into the same thing over the settling down part. Went into the third chapter with the timer thing on the second play through and just decided screw Evelyn ghosted her and stayed focused on Emily. My desktop still has the chapter 5 conversation with Emily downloaded on my desktop even 5 years later. JackSepticEye’s play through was very knowledgeable for his advice he was giving during it. Ze had one of my favorites and being with Chilled for his and Ze knowing what was coming made Chilled’s a funny play through
As for Emily is Away
I love the 2nd game so much it is amazing.
Everyone seems to think that in the last chapter of the first game, Emily just no longer cares about the player character's feelings for her -- but to me that doesn't seem right.
I think Emily still has feelings. It's clear there were mutual feelings between the two as evidenced by the fact that she wanted the player character to kiss her under the stars during their walk while at Travis's party. You could also argue that the feelings for the player character were more consistent throughout, and even apparent to the player character, as evidenced by the fact that you have an option to set boundaries and have her visit just as a friend. Regardless of how that goes, it ends badly, as we already know. She visits with or without alcohol or boundaries, she gets upset. You don't let her visit, she gets upset saying that that visit would've been the best time for her and the player character to get together.
In the last chapter, Emily says she doesn't want to relive memories or is tired of reliving memories. To me, this indicates a kind of regret in Emily about the past. Regrets about her, the player character, and the fact that it just didn't work out. She still is upset and hurt about it. She's just cold and distant because she doesn't want to keep reminding herself about that pain. It's not that she doesn't care. Also, it just seems like the relationship never worked out because of fear, and they didn't want to screw anything up with their friends, or lose each other as friends since they were really good for each other.
Just my thoughts. Of course there is no right way to think about the story or one right answer. This is just what it means to me, and it'll mean something different for everyone else.

honestly for emily is away 3 i feel like the ending i got came full circle. spoilers btw but i ended up going to see my friend while emily and emma were the ones to go hang out at the party. and going to see my friend to deal with my problems is what started the drama between emily. like it felt like the end to emily but not the end of everything if that makes much sense.

I hate third game, it repetativness, it's lack of variety in stories, it's copypaste characters. It absolutely ruined entire series for me. Still love second though. Maybe I gonna replay it some day. Emily and Evelyn in two were much more destinct from one another - much like their boyfriends. Also I really the idea "you have to beat game twice to get a good ending" part because of again - how long and monotones it gets.
Hmmm, I disagree. I heavily enjoyed and enjoy the 3rd game. Maybe because if it’s length it makes me think about it for days and even weeks after. The other 2 games didn’t make me feel like that.

You forgot to mention that in the third game there's the option to not trust Emily or Evelyn and break up with them and then get the most depressing ending ever where you're left all alone by your friends who pretty much just get mad at you for breaking Emily or Evelyn's heart and you get uninvited to Mat's birthday party while Emily or Evelyn get invited.
I personally would love for the third game to date mat lol, the MC's character seems more optionable in terms of genders and I would have loved to he's the best he conforted me after Emily ruined everything I hate her Evelyn is just better.

I'm going to be honest. I would never get into a game like this. Your description of it is far more interesting than actually playing it. I just don't think I enjoy it. Look don't get me wrong I did use AIM to communicate with my friends and with some girls I knew back then in the early 2000s when I was a teenager, but here's one thing that's really unrealistic that I'm surprised you didn't point out. How you are being timed for taking too long to respond. That actually doesn't make much sense. Everybody who I've talked to has never had that issue. Sure it gets annoying when you're talking to somebody and they were just talking to you and then all of a sudden you're waiting for like 10 minutes for them to respond but they don't even give you that much time in the game.
Also in the third game it should have been a parody of Myspace not Facebook. Yes Facebook was big in the late 2000s but my space was still big at the time too. MySpace was the biggest social network for good chunk of the 2000s. Bigger than Facebook. If they wanted to make it appear dated or be like that time it should have been on MySpace parody because Facebook is clearly still around and I mean if they did a fourth game it would just be on Facebook again anyways because that was even more popular throughout the 2010s.
Hmm, I just find that kind of naive. I get the MySpace thing, although I would consider that a minor criticism. I would recommend playing the series, or even the first game due to its short length. Just to gather an opinion for your own without an external source. Interesting to hear your input though!
