David Bowie appeared on Soul Train back in the day; did Fame and Golden Years. It's on You Tube.
SC, You'll love his "Changes", "China Girl" and "Suffragette City".
Station to Station is my favorite Bowie song.
Love station to station. The live version he did on his stage tour is my absolute favourite though. So much passion in his voice!
Agreed.
Great song to do cocaine to
@@johnLennon255 Agreed
That whole album is absolutely fantastic!
So many great David Bowie songs! Sound and Vision is one of my favourites plus man who sold the world and Changes
A lot of artists dipped their toe in the disco pool in the late 70s. Jackson Browne, Eagles, Electric Light Orchestra, Rolling Stones, Blondie, Rod Stewart, KISS....
Always loved the groove of this song.
I’m glad to see younger people embrace older music you dig. 💯
I love these videos! It's just so fun seeing younger people find music I've been listening to my entire life.
Rebel, Rebel; Suffragette City; Fame; Is There Life On Mars and my fav Bowie Song...Starman. Since he's passed I can't hear that song without crying.
If I had to pick one David Bowie song, this would be it. It's an earworm that you don't want to end. The album it comes from, Station to Station tops my list for most most consistently brilliant tracks. Not a bad song in the bunch. Try Stay next.
I love Absolute Beginners by Bowie and what the guy, surlechapeau.
My favorite version of Absolute Beginners is from his 2000 BBC concert.
Please check out Lady Grinning Soul. It's a gorgeous song.
"The Jean Genie".."Rebel, Rebel".."Suffragette City"..."Panic in Detroit".."Aladdin Sane"..and any damn thing from his album, "Hunky Dory."
1st time I heard this was in A Knights Tale with Heath Ledger.... great song:)
One day the rest of creation will catch up to David Bowie's timeline
Carlos Alomar, Dennis Davis, and George Murray were a fantastic rythym section for Bowie.
Run for the shadows Run for the shadows Run for the shadows in these Golden Years. I like the backup singers lines in many songs more than the main lyrics, its where the groove is.
Thanks for the brothers and sisters that kept him sane , tolerant and funky
I always HAVE to see reactions to Golden Years. This and Fame get the best shocked faces 😂
You should definitely check out "TVC15" and "Stay" off the same album, as well as "Right", "Fascination" and "Can You Hear Me" off of the Young Americans album. All very soulful, funky and groovy!✌
TVC15 is on the Station to Station album. Also a great album, but quite different in style, as you can expect from Bowie.
Oops, I read that again, 100% correct. My bad!
That would be great. Most reactors get turned away from the soul tracks, but Right, Fascination, and Can You Hear Me? are gems that it would be great to see get more exposure.
Try Bowie’s Moonage Daydream, it is a banger!
Let’s Dance!
Try Bowie's (with Luther Vandross coniirbuting much to it) the song "Fascination"
Just one of the many fantastic songs from the genius of david bowie one of a kind simply
She's got medals, when I'm five, love you till Tuesday, have fun listening to those
David Bowie was the first White Man invited on Soul Train in the 70s. He sang this song and he sang Fame on Soul Train. I believe it's on UA-cam still.
Give Ziggy Stardust a listen.
You gotta check it out 'ziggy stardust' by Bowie 👍
Please react to "FAME" by David Bowie!!!
I think she did already in a previous video
Anything from the Ziggy Stardust album is fantastic.
They had a sci fi mini series when I was a kid called the Golden Years, this was their theme song at the beginning of the show.
Bowie was super creative.. this song was excellently produced you have to listen to it many times to hear all the stuff going on the the background..fire.. Bowie was like wine just got better the older he got..just like most of us capricorns.. mythology lesson capricorn was show pan half goat half fish that came out the ocean thought people music and seduced the wood nymphs..
Written for his first wife Angela, (aka Angel). David was partial to woman of distinction and color David married twice, with wife #2 being Somalian.
Song, "Changes" will Rock You. Look at this Video with Bing Crosby "Little Drummer Boy" ua-cam.com/video/n9kfdEyV3RQ/v-deo.html
🤠THANKS!!! This is my favorite DB tune of all time!!! 👍♥👍♥👍
Please try the soul song Right (with Vandross) or Let's Dance. I know you did Fame :) :)
Fame is the only other one that brings the funk like this one. Many, many, many great songs but none can touch this one and Fame for bringing the chunky chunk. Wait wait wait. Someone mentioned Sound and Vision. It's pretty funky too.
His 1978 tour was pretty funky too. Like this one -Beaty and the Beast: m.ua-cam.com/video/tR-Ry-d6oIs/v-deo.html
Don't forget 'Fascination, .
golden years can be your best years; also means your "advanced years," hencing running for the shadows before time runs out...
Luther Vandross was a backing singer in this!
First time I ever heard this song was on the movie A Knight's Tale.
Do "Panic in Detroit"! No, do "Drive in Saturday"! No, no, do "Stay".
Oh, do "Jump They Say", "Quicksand", "The Bewly Brothers",
"TVC15", "Win"! I can't stop!
Those song could easily be on one of my Bowie lists (plural)
Yes sir!
So many favorites to choose from: TVC15, Blackout, Cat People, Let's Dance...
You’ll definitely dig “Stay” from the same era/band.
Glad I grew up in the 70s,so much Great music.
Way to go scribe! Blast from the past! Check out Diamond Dogs too!
I think you'll love the songs: Young Americans, and Fascination
You are right...everything about this song is great.
If you saw A Knight’s Tale, you heard this song during the dance scene.
Yes, this is funky. The album is fire. Station to Station (title track), TVC15, Stay, Wild is the Wind..
You should see the "A Knights Tale" dance scene... you'll love it 😁
You should check out Bowie performing this song on Soul Train (it’s on UA-cam) if you wanna see some people cut it up on the dance floor to this funky track 😁
Beautiful as always 😃... Great reaction..
Van Morrison, please.
Brown Eyed Girl
Moondance
Into the Mystic
Astral Weeks

Modern Love, and Lazarus are really good songs. Ashes to Ashes is another good one.
Great video, I love this song and I am so glad that you are doing this video!
I love when every human being, male and female, suddenly gets in in the g spot by david bowie lmfao
Love your reaction he was a genius
Bowie was on the same label as Elvis at the time ( RCA ) & he wrote this especially for E, who died before he could record it..🤔
please react to Bowie's Black Tie White Noise (Official Video) with Al B. sure
Check out 'Letter to Hermione'.
Just beautiful
Changes, The Jean genie, tvc-15 are some good ones
moonage daydream off of ziggy stardust album, actually entire ziggy album you should look into. really dig your work scribe.
Yes golden years 😊
FIRE!!!
Bloody hell... there is NO bad Bowie song..!
Interesting fact...
In 1990-91 the Stephen King book "Golden Years" was broadcast as a 7 part TV series and this was song was used as the theme song..!
Awesome Stay
A must is young American.
hello thanks for posting this single is so true funky and david to rip mr funny boys
Wild is the Wind, originally from Nina Simone, is worth reacting to.
Great stuff keep it up thank you 😊
Check out "Right".....Philly soul sound by Bowie......it is so funky!
Merry Christmas Miss K😊
Song originally written for Elvis by David Bowie
Great stuff; this was made in 1975 folks! Unbelievable...
He did this joint on Soul Train. Check it out please 🙏
Funny thing about Bowie is that imo his best songs were also his most commercially successful which is not usually the case with the great artist. Imo opinion mid seventies ala this song, Fame, Young Americans, Changes etc. was his apex in musicality at least to my ears. Queen Bitch is the best tho....Mick Ronson!
bout time!
Yeah I got just the thing my dearest there's a song by Bowie called Fashion yeah perhaps you want to hear some really fucking mean guitar excuse my French but oh my God yes indeed you're going to love that one too yeah I love those harmonies on the golden years I don't know what the intervals are but man it's out there all right girl checking on the next drop
The Thin White Duke.
All good!
Watch That Man....x
I think a good one is "changes" a later one " modern love" I think that one's from the 80's
