- The #19 Hawkeyes rallied from a 14 point deficit to defeat the #11 Wolverines 30-27 inside Kinnick Stadium. It was Iowa's first win versus Michigan in Iowa City since 1985.

Michigan's Special Teams coach resigned for "personal reasons" after this game. Special Teams more or less cost us our two regular season losses that year (although that's a bit debateable against Oregon).

+iHaWkS15 It would have been close he broke the plane but the with rule about the process of the catch it would have been dicey.I think it would be a touchdown because he had possession and took two steps with the ball before it was knocked out plus he crossed the goal line. But i see where your coming from you just never know when it's that close.
