During the last two months of her life, kup got a urinary tract infection. At the time I did not know what the signs and symptoms of a urinary tract infection in dogs were. I later found out that a terrible smelling pee is a big sign and also panting.
We went to the vet and he gave us a two weeks worth of antibiotics and then I noticed that she had been "leaking pee" I then went back to him and got her on something called Proin at 50mg. One and half pill in am and one and half pill in pm and that did the trip. She was no longer peeing in the house, or actually dribbling. I also bought regular youth diapers, she was 78 lbs and I got the 20-24 lb size.
