Both the great and small I imagine though once we are with Jesus we will not be raptured by our earthly life as we are now, imagine sitting beside Jesus. Just saw the Seldom Scene in Blythe, California, and they knocked this out of the park! John Duffey would have to be pleased. And Lou Reid said the late Mr. Duffey got it from the late Mr. Dean. He had good taste!
If this was in 1972 he could be singing from his heart cause it was about the time Jeanne and him was having problems, heading toward a divorce. So sad they divorce but at the end of Dean life they was back together.
I grew up watching his variety show. He and Elvis were similar in that they had great voices, they could sing any genre of songs, and both could act. Both were also handsome. Elvis hated his movies, but I think he was too cynical of them...they were good, what I call feel good movies. If his movies could make people happy, then he should have been content.
And Dean learned it form an American singer called Don Lane who resided in Australia in the 60's and 70's. It was the B side to Your My Everything. I can confirm this as I played guitar on the original !. The thing about decent songs is that they are there for everyone to sing or listen to. You will find Your my Everthing by Don Lane on You Tube
