HEAR ME OUT: In Germany, the submarine version costs €400 more (the V15 Detect Absolute is €589, while the Submarine is €949). I decided to buy the Detect Absolute for €589 and the Dreame H12 Pro for €339. This combination is cheaper than the Dyson Submarine alone and offers a wet vacuum designed to perform one task perfectly: wet vacuuming. The Dreame H12 Pro operates in auto mode, ionizes water to create a disinfectant out of it, cleans the roll, and dries it with warm air. In my opinion, these two devices for under €1000 (which together are literally cheaper than the Submarine alone) are currently the best cleaning and mopping duo if you want to get the most value for your money. Best bang for your buck!
Eh, that really depends on the market then. For example, in my country (also Europe, also in the EU) the price difference between v15 absolute and submarine is mere 150 euros. So it makes one more inclined to bite the bullet and just get the submarine one. Especially if you live in a smaller space so two devices may be difficult to store.
Interesting! Didn’t know Dreame. So why not just Dreame dry and wet? They have H14 now. I am torn between just Dyson detect absolute and another wet vacuum. Thank you !
Hmm pretty negative comments on this product, I bought this about 2 weeks ago and I think it has been amazing. The vacuum gets rid of cat hairs on the floor and carpets on first round. My regular vacuum would have taken 3 rounds to vacuum perfectly. Also the mob function doesn't leave any stain marks like my regular mob. So 5/5 purchase imo.
Thanks so much, your video is much more informative than Dyson's. It costs £800 GBP here in London. Based on your review I won't be purchasing ir. Thank you for saving me £££.
Thanks for doing this video demo, tbh the submarine seems abit gimmicky.. probably faster to wipe up the sip with some cleaning spray and paper towels compared to having to clean up the head after. Does Dyson actually have anything that can replace an old school mop?... watching the your demo, it seems to slow and leaving some dirt/water marks behind.
Good review, watching this in the UAE also and I was going to purchase one, but I feel it's too temperamental and I wasn't impressed with the streaks on the wet floor. Decent product but I don't feel it's ready yet for the purpose it was created. Thanks for the detailed review.
In short it’s not worth the money for a product that will not clean hard floors in a hygienic way using detergent and water. Plain water alone is not going to clean floor properly.
It can be used with warm water and a little detergent but yes, think Dyson need to build on this with something that will be able to do more than a gentle mop
Thank you for the review. No way will I ever purchase this one.The non submarine has its own flaws, cleaning a car floor is hell because of the canister size and the attachments are weak.
I bought the samsung bespoke jet only because I can't stand the design of Dyson. It's veryyy ugly and since I need my vacuum to always stay next to my working desk, I could never work seeing dyson all the time sitting next to me. and to be honest I was very ok with samsung until I saw the V15 detect submarine, mop function. I'ts much better as bespoke jet one, but that alone, for a small apartment, I don't know if it would be necessary to return my unit for the submarine. I am very confused and don't know what to do

I think the submarine isnt built to clean spills. Its built to shine your floor.

Thank you for your review. Im watching from Slovakia and it helped me a lot to decide to not go for this version ☺️
Glad the review helped. What was the reason you decided not to go for this model?

I find the tineco brand wet & dry mop more effective.

Us version get best version of this uk will get the standard not gold version so if you’ve upgraded recently then you’ve lost out
Not worth the asking price
Fantastic how you have an English accent yet choose to convert UAE currency to US dollars and not UK pounds.
That’s because I live in the UAE where most audiences will compare with the dollar. The UK isn’t as important as most Brits think it is anymore.
