Comic spoilers Although I dont read comics myself I remember earlier when people found out that they changed it so Steven and mr.knight were one and the same, a lot of people complained coz he was just standing with escrima sticks, some people from comics thought that mr.knight would just be a gag character and just stand around with his fancy suit but I am glad the finale and Steven proved them wrong
I was wondering how Steven was able to fight so well... I figured that becoming an Avatar probably "gives" you some fighting skills since it wouldn't make sense for the gods to have to limit their options to people who are already highly skilled. Like obviously, if the original person is physically fit and can fight (like Marc and Layla) it helps, but they probably get a combat upgrade too once becoming an Avatar. But what probably matters more to become an Avatar is whether or not they have the innate characteristics that match their respective god/goddess.
Also Jake came out when they were in an extreme amount of pain and being killed by Harrow. Indicating, Jake took on the physical punishments in their childhood.
All three actors did such an incredible job and each deserve their own highly deserved praise. Oscar, May and Ethan all knocked it out of the park!! Easily my favorite MCU show now

Oscar should win best actor and supporting actor for this, lol. Has that ever happened before? I'd love to see it be a first, he's earned it! Emmys for everyone!
Regarding the Emmy for Oscar Isaac, who would be the Main character and who would be the Supporting? I mean, we started with Steven as our protagonist. But as the show progressed, we learnt that Marc is the host of their body, and he is the titular Moon Knight. So I am curious how that nomination would go.. 😅
We NEED to have Layla become an Avenger! And she needs an awesome superhero name as well. And I thought Marc was the deadliest of the 3 but Jake Lockley leaves a Punisher lever wake of destruction in his path!!!
Punisher level? At least Punisher doesn't kill indiscriminately…… As we all have seen, Jake is a serial killer. He kills people and enjoys it. He already killed 2 hospital staffs before killing Harrold. Man, a soldier, a british man, and a murdurer in one body.
The 1 show contract was a brilliant move, I think. If we knew he signed on for multiple projects, we'd KNOW he'd survive this show. Besides, I think Oscar wasn't sure if people would like his portrayal and didn't want to get stuck playing a character people hated.
I feel that, as Moon Knight is such an unknown character, this series was approved to sort of gage how the audience would respond to it before a movie is greenlit. I have a slight feeling that before the summer ends, we'll hear a Moon Knight movie announcement.
that "WAS" Jake with the new york accent in the hospital office with harrow in the last 2 episodes, also in the jeep in episode 4 talking to Layla, and also fighting with the Alexander Axe just before Harrow shot him!!!!!
Layla's costume has been teased in the past episodes with his dad's scarlet scarf, and her endearment of "my little scarab". Hence her superhero name, Scarlet Scarab. (Genderswitched from the comics)
I absolutely loved this finale (it so good that Marc/Steven are acting as one now"meaning their heart as a whole is balanced") Jake is going to be a problem in the future lol
I really hope we get to see more o Moon Knight. I in for anything, a Season 2 or a movie... I need to see Oscar Isaac as Moon Knight again. He's too amazing.
The way I watched this episode literally outside of the cinema before going into see Doctor Strange, emotions really bouncing back and forth right now 😂 But oh boy, Moon Knight is something else. I hope they do a season 2 but if not I can't wait to see everyone on the big screen in the films!
This episode, in fact this whole series was so, so good! I really hope that there is going to be a second Moon Knight series, so many questions. Surely this isn’t the last appearance of Layla, especially as she is now an avatar as well. I hope that he also appears in upcoming MCU films. On another subject, I’ve got my ticket for Multiverse of Madness opening day tomorrow. Really looking forward to it, loved your non-spoiler reaction to it, looking forward to your full reaction soon. May the Forth be with you both. Regards from a Scottish subscriber. 😊🏴
🥺 thirsty for more... Now switching to a creative mind i did love the visuals and costumes of this ep and cosplayers would be fine tooth combing this for details of costumes and how epic the Cape looks 😍❤
I thought there was an interview where Oscar Isaac mentioned one of the stipulations for contracting with Marvel is that it couldn't be a multi-film or multi-year agreement. He didn't want to be bound to a superhero role for that long. Believe he referred to the contracts of the likes of RDJ, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, etc
I am glad I watched you guys because you reminded me to just have fun with this and stop just having super high expectations. This show was awesome like sushi--visually stunning, delicious, but I just keep wanting go eat more and more.
17:52 What Layla saw, I think, was someone that looks like Marc, dressed in Marc's costume, go absolutely ham on everybody around him. Her vision was at least partially occluded by people firing at her, forcing her to hide behind her wings, so she probably didn't see very much. What little she DID see was made to look as if it were Marc doing it, but with utter brutality. Jake seems to not be concerned with getting recognition; he likes to hide, and he often hides in plain sight. He uses Marc's costume. He bounces in, cleans house, and bounces out.
I'm not judging this by episodes... I'm judging the entire series as one. This show could've easily been in theaters and would've done well. Phenomenal acting from Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke, Excellent writing and directing as well.🏆
This was a good finale. A bit rushed here and there, especially after last week, But that was alright. I cried again when Marc rejected paradise for Steven. Best Duo ever. Them together is so good, and how seamless one switched to the other later, wow. I NEED a second season. I still have questions. Is Layla living with them??? What happened to her? And of course the whole mid credit scene....wow. I mean we knew it, but Konshu is a dick. Seriously. The moment he promised Steven to let them both go, I knew he was holding on to Jake.
I guess Steven knows about Jake that's why in the end both Jake and Steven interacted with each other there was no Marc in that interaction I think in second season we'll see a similar tug of war between Steven and Jake just like we had in this season between Marc and Steven
Good Work Guys I m following you since 1 years. You are so kind and good couple. May God Bless you both. Love From Pakistan. And also I m big fan of Marvel Cinematic Universe.
4:35 About roadblocks in Egypt, they are more common in Egypt than the US as they are used to prevent the smuggling of drugs and weapons and combat terrorism as most of Egypt is surrounded by desert and unstable countries, so smugglers and terrorists move across western and southern borders and then use one of the roads as shown in the series. So, roadblocks are more effective than in the US where they use them only in chasing criminals. And, they managed in reducing smuggling and terrorism.
Marc consciously made Steven to cope with his trauma of being physically and mentally/emotionally abused by his mother, but I think that he, or Steven, unintentionally created Jake to be the one who took all the abuse 😰🥺😣😔. He's the most violent, destructive, bloodthirsty and aggressive of all three alters 😰. However, while he _enjoys_ killing, and without remorse or guilt, he's not _completely_ without empathy 🤔, as he seems to mostly come out when Marc and/or Steven are or feel threatened 🤔, and it looks like he only takes enjoyment in taking the lives of only the worst and that deserve it, like Khonshu said, and he only chooses an Avatar who has a strong moral conscience (Marc has this and so does Steven, _especially_ ) and the 2 or so male nurses who he killed at the psych ward (I read somewhere 🤔) were most likely violent abusers to the female nurses, one of which he was calm, gentle and kind towards when getting ready to take Harrow and Ammit to their respective demises 🤔. And he seemed to have especially enjoyed taking Harrow's life, saying today was his turn to lose obviously for murdering or attempting (🤔?) to murder Marc (and Steven and himself by proxy) as well as punishment for his numerous other sins 🤔🤷♂️. He seems to not have any desire to harm _any innocents_ , which was also shown when he injured but didn't kill the teenage boy in episode 3 🤔.
You saw Jake a lot! You just didn't realize it was Jake, you thought it was Mark. In that village, when he got the scarab back. Driving the cupcake van. When he walked out of that bathroom and looked up at that camera. The time he took that pyramid, and Harrow had him sedated. He definitely defeated Harrow and his minions and Layla saw that. That was Jake.
i was bout to be disappointed if they not gonna show us Jake, but then Layla made a pact with Taweret! and then she became "Scarab Knight"(i made up this one) and then Marc-Steven could switch back n forth like in the comic!!! they really know what they do with this title 👏👏👏👏👏
"ScarabKnight" is how I reference to Layla x Marc/steven, because she is the 'Scarlet Scarab' and Marc/Steven is 'Moon Knight' and 'Mr.Knight' respectively. 😅
Like every show it leaves with so much questions. What happens at the temple of the gods that Harrow destroyed. Did the other gods survived? What happened to the other gods that was imprisoned? I would love to see a second season.
My only production flaw here is that they showed Jake pushing the rolling chair and knocking it to the side while walking towards the back of the limo, presumably to go the driver seat on the other side... Except he's in London and is shown to be in the right seat... So why take the full circle around unless to inspect something :p
Imagine if Disney is waiting for a certain day and time at Star Wars Celebration or Investors Day to announce altogether about WandaVision Season 2, The Falcon and Winter Soldier Season 2, Hawkeye Season 2 and Moon Knight Season 2. What if Moon Knight spin-offs eventually get announced? I can almost hear the countdown clock to when someone makes a video of the giant Konshu vs. Ammit fight with the Power Rangers theme song playing.
I wasn't expecting a kaiju battle alongside an already great final battle but here we are! That grapple kick reminded me of Batman's similar move in Injustice 2. 🤣 Also, Jake looked so sinister! And Layla's costume is so cool!
Disney plus cant fully show the maximum cruelty and bloodthirst of The Jake Lockley in a tv series...because hes the most violent in all of Marc's alters.. We have to wait for MK to see in the moviesss...awesome episode btw
No all from the same pantheon just a wide family of gods so to speak. We finally get JAke!!!!!! Which is funny because we have seen all the seeds planted of him being there. Jake is the true hand of vengeance now and it makes sense because he is the most violent of all the alters. Nice little bow they put on this season. Obviously I Wonder Woman vibes so we waiting on those comparisons. Golden wings are beautiful I love that moon knight is the batman and she is the Wonder Woman that’s dope. In the beginning Marc and Steven are fighting each other now they are helping each other to fight switching from mr knight and moon knight. I wonder if they will have a separate suit for jake. Khonshu did Marc and Steven dirty because he is a manipulator oh yeah I will release you sure…. You got no idea about this other alter you have let me latch onto him. I like that Layla being an avatar sort of protects her. Let’s say jake didn’t exist khonshu still can’t take her after releasing Marc because she is already an avatar to another god.
Jake was always there in the beginning, Jake took punishment/pain.....He was the protector of the three....Steve never protected- Jake did.....Jake was the harden one from their attacks. Khanchu knew from the beginning .... Also Harrow because of being the avatar....he left because he wanted justice quicker than Khanchu- so he went to Croc deity.
I feel like Moon knight will show up in Werewolf By Night in October. After all that was where he first appeared in comics. Also he might show up in Blade as well.
these marvel shows are good to introduce new characters or develop older ones (like wandavison), but they should be one season only. Im sure Marc/Steven/Jake will appear in movies like the avengers or something and perhaps have their own movies.
Things are like they are until they stop being like they are. We need to stop thinking about these series in the old yearly-season formats. With streaming, they are going to be more akin to actual comic-books. We have now "Moon Knight," a limited series, and maybe in two years we will have another limited series, "Moon Knight, vol. 2" or "Moon Knight: Fist of Konshu" or whatever. The fact that this series is done doesn't mean we won't have another one in the (hopefully) near future.
This wouldn’t be the first time that’s been the case and then they go on to make a second season.. I remember there was one on hbo that ended up not being the case, and even most recently Russian Doll on Netflix having a season 2 after being advertised as a limited series
I have a feeling some or maybe a lot of people might be dissappointed that jake lockley wasn't shown until the very end, and i was one of those people, its not marvels fault or anything, its my fault because I admit i was having high expectation for jake to appear sooner, but i realize that this is season 1 and its pretty much an origin story. However while the ending may set up for season 2, there is no further announcement about it. which I hope they renew for a season 2.
I got it right back in episode two!!! Why would khanshu tease marc making him think it was Layla he wanted as his avatar, when he has three personalities to work with in one avatar if one other doesn't agree to carry out his justice and vengeance it's perfect

But as the show progressed, we learnt that Marc is the host of their body, and he is the titular Moon Knight. So I am curious how that nomination would go.. 😅
@@pinkishqcrafts Good point! Which one got more screen time?
“I swear I will free you *both*.”
Goddamn it, Khonshu.
Please never apologize for feeling. Love the reaction.
Loved this episode but my head has fallen off with that ending and end credit scene. Bonkers episode and great reaction guys
The part where Jake lockly comes out 😭😭😭🥹 and that end credit too!
We NEED to have Layla become an Avenger! And she needs an awesome superhero name as well.
And I thought Marc was the deadliest of the 3 but Jake Lockley leaves a Punisher lever wake of destruction in his path!!!
Scarlet scarab...
Punisher level? At least Punisher doesn't kill indiscriminately…… As we all have seen, Jake is a serial killer. He kills people and enjoys it. He already killed 2 hospital staffs before killing Harrold. Man, a soldier, a british man, and a murdurer in one body.
Not every superhero should be an Avenger especially Layla who just got her powers. I wouldn’t even have Moon Knight in the Avengers.
@@MarioSonicBee They're going to have to be at some point. The OG Avengers will retire.
They got us good with that ending. They started calling it a season finale, not a series finale. I'm hooked.
Thank fuk for that end credit scene, I had the same reaction when the episode ended! 😅😅 What a show!
Great finale! I loved Stevie in his Mr. Knight suit, so slick.
I hope Marc will be brought back to be the main persona, rather than Jake. Marc is best merge of the two, Steven and Jake. Jake is just too brutal.
that "WAS" Jake with the new york accent in the hospital office with harrow in the last 2 episodes, also in the jeep in episode 4 talking to Layla, and also fighting with the Alexander Axe just before Harrow shot him!!!!!
No he only kills bad guys, listens to what Khonshu says
@@Hadi73142 He will be a problem for Marc and Steven since they don't know he is there with Khonshu(because they won't remember what Jake is doing)
@@shaunbanks8237 Oh I thought you meant when he died
@@shaunbanks8237 dies*
@HadiZgheib lol no. I meant from now and in the future
I really hope we get to see more o Moon Knight. I in for anything, a Season 2 or a movie... I need to see Oscar Isaac as Moon Knight again. He's too amazing.
The way I watched this episode literally outside of the cinema before going into see Doctor Strange, emotions really bouncing back and forth right now 😂
But oh boy, Moon Knight is something else.
Fear not Wendy, no need to apologize. We were crying right along with girl!
🥺 thirsty for more...
Now switching to a creative mind i did love the visuals and costumes of this ep and cosplayers would be fine tooth combing this for details of costumes and how epic the Cape looks 😍❤
Hammit’s design in person is BADASS
Great villain
Im constantly going back and forth between this and Hawkeye for my favourite Marvel show.
LYLA SUPERMACY 😌⚡
I thought there was an interview where Oscar Isaac mentioned one of the stipulations for contracting with Marvel is that it couldn't be a multi-film or multi-year agreement. He didn't want to be bound to a superhero role for that long. Believe he referred to the contracts of the likes of RDJ, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, etc
I love that they’re going for like a hitman type of personality with Jake
Jake speaking Spanish before executing Amit/Harrow.
"HIPPO!!!" 🦛
I am glad I watched you guys because you reminded me to just have fun with this and stop just having super high expectations. This show was awesome like sushi--visually stunning, delicious, but I just keep wanting go eat more and more.
OMG! I so want a season 2 of Moon Knight. Luv it. Gonna take a break and on to Kenobi stuff. 😄 So much Disney fun today.
Great reaction! Love what you do!
Thank you!!
11:38 'I'll release you both* '
* you sneaky old vulture!
I’m wearing an Ahsoka tee too!! 🧡💙🤍 And I really hope Layla stays Tawret’s avatar. Great Ending!
I live for ya’lls reactions. 😁
What a great series, Wendy & Dustin! Hope there's another season for this... 😉
It bugs me that they never explained why Harrow wore glass in his shoes... or did they and I just missed it?
I think it's his penance for not having a balanced scale, as he saidd when meeting Ammit for the first time.
@@plstmb6000 correct
Most of the fans got what they came for. Even though one of the things is in the mid-credit scene.
I'm HYPED for Layla's return! A surprise superhero to be sure but a welcome one
As an absolute Marvel/MCU Stan, Moonknight has been my favorite Disney+ Marvel show so far! Loki comes in a close 2nd.
Really love watching you guys
Like every show it leaves with so much questions. What happens at the temple of the gods that Harrow destroyed. Did the other gods survived? What happened to the other gods that was imprisoned? I would love to see a second season.
My only production flaw here is that they showed Jake pushing the rolling chair and knocking it to the side while walking towards the back of the limo, presumably to go the driver seat on the other side... Except he's in London and is shown to be in the right seat... So why take the full circle around unless to inspect something :p
No reason to apologize for crying.
Taweret is great! I love her so much ^^
Jake has no rules!!! Oooooof!!! Such a great show!!!!
Crazy episode. Marvel need to do more of this type of series. Had a lot of fun watching you guys reacting to this show too! 🔥🔥
You guys are the best reactors out of all the UA-cam reactors
In the early episodes, most likely all the transitions into the dead ppl we seen were probably by Jake not Marc right?
Jake's been there all along. Khonshou won't let all of his avatar go
As frantic as it was, I’d say the finale stuck to landing and the post credit scene set things up nicely for a potential second season.
I wasn't expecting a kaiju battle alongside an already great final battle but here we are! That grapple kick reminded me of Batman's similar move in Injustice 2. 🤣
Also, Jake looked so sinister! And Layla's costume is so cool!
Moon Knight is apart of the Midnight Sun's. I think this is an entry toward that as I am excited.
he goes full Joe Pesci in the end i love it
loved all single episode and really hope in another series and some appearance in movies
I thought Moon Kight was comically bad, like Sharknado bad but people don't realise it yet because it's a new Marvel show.
Jake was always there in the beginning, Jake took punishment/pain.....He was the protector of the three....Steve never protected- Jake did.....Jake was the harden one from their attacks. Khanchu knew from the beginning .... Also Harrow because of being the avatar....he left because he wanted justice quicker than Khanchu- so he went to Croc deity.
fantastic episode and series
So Mark has at least 3 personalities right? Jake speaks Spanish so who is the guy with the NYC accent we've seen in this and the last episode?
They HAVE to have a second season now. They can't leave it like that.
I feel like Moon knight will show up in Werewolf By Night in October. After all that was where he first appeared in comics. Also he might show up in Blade as well.
Marvel submitted moon knight to the emmys under limited series category so it'll just one season!
these marvel shows are good to introduce new characters or develop older ones (like wandavison), but they should be one season only.
@@miguelvaz I’m thinking the next Eternals
