Left Kieran bringing the hot takes today! As a sisters player, I really like the Dogmata. I feel like her stoic pose stands out in comparison to the rest of our models that tend to be charging, screaming angry girls. And Chaos Lord in Terminator armour is just a gold mine of a kit - it's maybe *the* best character kit in Warhammer for the sheer wealth of options you get. Plus, the sorcerer gets his lil' gremlin familiar buddy, probably one of my favourite "little guys" in the 40k range.
Not sure I agree that the predator need to be on a gladiator chassis. I've always preferred the look of the Rhino, Razorback, Predator to the hover tanks. If I could, I'd just upscale them a bit
Yeah that also works. If GW decide they want to keep that chassis, they all need updating. Or just commit to moving them to the gladiator, this weird limbo between the two is annoying!
My pick is finally getting the Emperor’s Children army we know is coming. I just it to be here so I can chase perfection! Other than that just please get the Custodes forge world resin crap into plastic.

But for adding to Votann i think they could actually pull off something like the centurion (whatever the baby carrier is from the SM range) GSC could maybe be similar. Something like a repurposed heavy lifter that they've welded scrap to make it armoured. Could start as T12 or something but when bracketed it becomes T9/8
Fire Warriors and Hammerheads are still very iconic to the Tau line. I like both kits a lot. I think the model that needs the most help is the basic crisis suits. They are on the small side now and would love to see them dabbed up. Another great video my guys

For Drukhari all I could think was our friendly green goblin, crossfit, edgy skyboard riders, the Hellions. Then I remembered that Grotesques are a thing and they were selling them in finecast, individually for something like £20 each and you need 3 for a unit. When you see what they can do in Fleah eater courts, I just want to see what their crazed minds can do with that side of the army.
As an Eldar lifer, I move from "I really want a refresh for these old kits" to "Oh but please dont chnage the way the Falcon looks, its timeless"... That said the Vyper is probably the only vehicle I'd want replacing

Maybe a hot take but I really think Thousand Sons, especially after the release of Space Marine 2, would benefit a lot from a range refresh to primaris scale and new units to come with it. They did say 2025 was the "year of chaos" so I'm hoping it's not JUST because of Emperor's Children
Great picks overall - the Defiler hate hurts though, when those came out they were the most unique and rad vehicle Chaos had (the Land Raider was also cool). Building Iron Warriors lists with 4 heavy support choices so you could field the Defiler, Land Raider, Basilisk/Vindicator together was top tier. That being said, they desperately need a new daemon engine to fulfill that role - especially with any potential Dark Mechanicus on the horizon!
I just bought the Landraider Redeemer. I’m almost positive we are getting a new Warp Spider sculpt. I guess I really want a new Karandras. Since it was my first mini, and I’d like to put him in the shelf and have a new one.

As an Admech Player it is Stiltman by far. He does not even need a whole new model, just a cooler Pose. That Concept with the Sniper on Stilts makes no sense, so he is obviously perfect for Admech!

Look at codexs over the years and core rules the art is cool yeah but nothing like let's say Third Edition were you felt! The universe the dirt, the rust, oil and despair it was amazing it hooked me when I was 10 or so years old.

I think they should fix the new ork boyz so they are not mono pose, since fielding an ork army of like 30+ some boyz with the same poses over and over it just takes away the charm of the Orks. Also give the Tau Stormsurge some arms for the greater good,its just so weird to see such a nice mini and rhen no arms, if that thing ever get arms then im starting a Tau army.
Any of the non-Space Marines that are actually Space Marine or bigger in size in the lore because GW is still releasing minis that shouldn't be stunty because they're for ranges that haven't been upscaled. The stupid Firstborn v Primaris lore they went with is the main reason it's bad but Chaos Space Marines should be same size as Primaris (maybe they can do a "Abaddon infuses the Legions of Chaos across the galaxy with dark power thanks to Vashtor" storyline?), same with Grey Knights and Death Watch. Custodes should be just that little bit bigger, maybe hard to spot unless you stand them right next to each other. But that Custodes character they released is ridiculous.
@the_kieran_show they made a mistake over the whole Primaris thing. Space Marines in lore are the size of Primaris minis. Instead of just slowly updating the range with better minis and leaving everyone to upgrade as they want they did the whole lore reason for the new minis. Meaning non Primaris can't be the size of Primaris minis without a similar lore reason. So now they're backed into a corner. New minis have to fit the existing range and lore even though they're also too small in the lore. Means there'll be a steady size increase over multiple years with new stuff getting a little bigger each time probably. End up with Chaos collections that look weird and don't all match up with each other probably.
Centurions. They are so close to achieving the perfect balance of "silly but cool" that is a good representation of 40k. But they narowly miss the mark. GW should release a new, Primaris-appropriate version of Centurions at the proper new size with slightly reworked proportions.
I'll never get people's hatred for the Engineseer. He's just a thicc boi boss. The one tech-priest that doesn't look like he'd snap in a stiff breeze. There's so much more genuinely awful stuff in the AdMech range, frankly.
I built the land raider redeemer recently and I think that it is perfectly fine. You’re also very wrong with the predator being on the stupid hover chassis… those are hot garbage compared to the tracked tanks… xx love you guys

Somehow I’ve never seen the Inquisitor Karamazov mini until now and I’m now on board with it needing an update just because I want to paint one after seeing it 😅 There’s so much that needs refreshes. The Warp Spiders are a Jes Goodwin Eldar sculpt and are thus unimprovable. (my supporting evidence: the Gary Morley Striking Bunnies) Don't touch the Warpies. Revert all the over-busy new Eldar sculpts to be closer to Jes' original concept art.

Yeah 3-4 edition codexes are still top tier to me, I love rereading them and checking out the amazing and atmospheric art

Any of the non-Space Marines that are actually Space Marine or bigger in size in the lore because GW is still releasing minis that shouldn't be stunty because they're for ranges that haven't been upscaled. The stupid Firstborn v Primaris lore they went with is the main reason it's bad but Chaos Space Marines should be same size as Primaris (maybe they can do a "Abaddon infuses the Legions of Chaos across the galaxy with dark power thanks to Vashtor" storyline?), same with Grey Knights and Death Watch. Custodes should be just that little bit bigger, maybe hard to spot unless you stand them right next to each other. But that Custodes character they released is ridiculous.
Totally agree on CSM should be the same size as primaris! The scale needs fixing!
@the_kieran_show they made a mistake over the whole Primaris thing. Space Marines in lore are the size of Primaris minis. Instead of just slowly updating the range with better minis and leaving everyone to upgrade as they want they did the whole lore reason for the new minis. Meaning non Primaris can't be the size of Primaris minis without a similar lore reason. So now they're backed into a corner. New minis have to fit the existing range and lore even though they're also too small in the lore. Means there'll be a steady size increase over multiple years with new stuff getting a little bigger each time probably. End up with Chaos collections that look weird and don't all match up with each other probably.

GW should release a new, Primaris-appropriate version of Centurions at the proper new size with slightly reworked proportions.

The Warp Spiders are a Jes Goodwin Eldar sculpt and are thus unimprovable. (my supporting evidence: the Gary Morley Striking Bunnies) Don't touch the Warpies. Revert all the over-busy new Eldar sculpts to be closer to Jes' original concept art.
