Y’all never complain when in some very tough situations. When he asked “you wouldn’t happen to have a spare set of goggles have you?” He asked in such a polite and non demanding way yet you could literally see it on his face and hear In his voice just how exhausted he was. I felt so bad and I know you did too when you realized he had been without them and not asked or mentioned it. You know when men like that ask , they’re WAY past the time of needing them. So huge respect and appreciation for giving him you’re and taking away an inconvenience for him when he’s goin through it. That’s the type of shit that keeps people on a sled and being friendly and helpful to the next person.
This is why I subscribed and follow this channel!! I honestly don’t watch the other’s anymore because they can’t or won’t show what Matt shows!!! The everyday struggles with these machines!! All they tell you is how great it is!!! This channel is special!!! The footage is unbelievable the content is amazing along with the people!! I can’t imagine how many people this helps seeing what can happen in the back country and helping them be prepared!! 👍 oh skidoo,Polaris,cat, you guys suck!!! But we’ll keep buying these new sleds every year!!! 😂😂 worse than drugs!!!! ❄️❄️❄️❄️😂😂😂😂

I've been riding polaris since 1975 as a kid starting on a "71" tx and still do. I have always held my breath when polaris says they lightened parts. I understand why, I love the quick rev of the 9R. I hope there is some polaris R+D are watching your real life proving ground. Looks like they need some billet parts or something in the spider. My buddys ran heavy polaris mod sleds in the 90s-2000s 220 race gas motors and we never had clutch issues like that. We didn't have near as much track those days either. Thanks for showing the bads and we love the goods. Keep it up. Go 100k subscribers!
Good point about the long tracks. Long tracks, long lugs, deep snow, steep terrain means the power train is most always working under full load. But yes they cost a lot and they should last longer.
I know you and the boys ride the sleds pretty hard,but i feel like they break way more often than they should for how much they cost now. Nice to see that yall stick together when things like this goes down,brotherhood!

We could think different and say that it is amazing they dont break more often due to the fact they being pushed so hard. But since 99% who rides aint made out of money we would like a product that can keep us going for a season without having the heli get us down to the parkinglot🤭
Think of these newer sleds like F1 cars. They're lightweight, high RPM and high horsepower machines. Things are bound to break running at 8500 rpm for 1500+ miles. Gotta pay to play!
Love seeing what could and does go wrong, the break downs are the best vids you make. Shows how to handle the situation and remain in a good head space to get out. This guy is a leader.
Absolutely love your attitude. So many people would get discouraged when faced with all the adversity on sleds breaking down so often. The positive attitude you have is what makes this channel special. Thank you for sharing all the adventures so I can live vicariously through them.

There have been a lot of those clutches blowing, and everyone says cat has terrible clutches, I think Polaris takes the cake on this one only 450 miles and the spiders crack, at least the cat clutches go 2000 miles till needed replacement

Yea I don't care how hard you pushed the sled within the past few weeks, clutches should NOT be blowing at 700km ESPECIALLY with the care you have stated throughout your videos. These sleds are built for these type of conditions and riding (maybe not the jumps) and these brands need to really start paying attention to quality control. expensive year matt! but you enjoy it that's all that matters! safe riding!

Team needs to get their shit together on them clutches... A lot of fingers pointing at Polaris, but the clutches are manufactured elsewhere. Perhaps it's enough for them to push to develop their own. Maybe you should go the Syxxes route and put a CVTech on it??

@@rock-uu7qr In this era of machines it is 90% a personal thing. All machines have the ability to handle very well. The issue is that 90% of people do not know how to set up their suspension. Most people do not do enough preventative maintenance also, so you have machines that do not react well to rider input and have random mechanical failures, but everyone blames the OEM. That being said, Polaris is by far the leader in break downs, and recalls. Period

What I usually do to start a fire in the bush is I find a stick & then I dip it in the gas tank a bit and there you got a easy fire starter

My 9r lost crank bearing at 51 miles..had to heli out...got fixed now worried about clutch blowing up....fml
