Thanks! I didn't know that she was going through a lot. I recently got into her mukbang videos because she seemed really happy while eating, that it gave me motivation to eat in real life. She was going through such a difficult time and showed a smile on her face. I hope she can heal as time passes by.

    1) Tzuyang did NOT start off in a brothel/hostess bar (which are two VERY DIFFERENT THINGS), she started off dating a guy who she thought was nice but turned physically abusive early on in their relationship. He was the one who forced her to work in a hostess bar NOT a brothel, so that he can take all of her earnings.
    2) She didnt "want to stream" in a way that it was something shes always wanted to do. She explicitly states that she only started streaming because she did not want to work at the hostess bar anymore, and at that time mukbang streams were getting popular and she convinced her ex-bf to let her quit her hostess bar if she earned enough money through streaming. It was the only other way she could think of earning money, and she was desperate to do anything other than her hostess job
    3) When she started gaining significant revenue through her streams, her ex-bf created a management company and contracted her into it, making her sign a 7:3 contract where he would take 70% of her earnings + all ad revenue and she would keep 30%. He stole and kept her government ID and stamp (essentially her signature) to sign off on contracts with other companies without her knowledge
    4) Yes technically the investigation "ended" with her ex-bf's death, but the only and sole reason that she even came out with the video/stream revealing everything is because her ex-bf shared his blackmail material (her working at a hostess bar, which is considered extremely scandalous and wouldve ruined her career) with a group of 6+ and counting UA-camrs who formed a group calling themselves the "tow truck union" and together continued to blackmail Tzuyang and forced her to pay them thousands of dollars regularly, essentially saying "if you dont pay us then we'll expose these pictures/videos of you and your career will be ruined". There is an audio recording of one such UA-camr bragging that he was able to buy a brand new car with the money that he extorted from Tzuyang in this way. She came out with the video explaining everything because her and her team had gained intel that one of the UA-camrs was creating a video to finally expose Tzuyang, perhaps since they knew that they werent going to get anymore money out of her now that she had gathered a legal team to fight against her oppressors, and so they rushed to come out with Tzuyang's side of the story first before the release of that video which would have made a strongly negative first impression to the public. Tzuyang stated that she never ever wanted to reveal such personal information about her, but she felt like she had no choice but to.
There is more, but these are the main incorrect points that I found in this video. I beg of anyone reading this to please take all videos made about this news with a grain of salt unless they are professionally translated articles or professional sources. I have seen too many videos of people trying to cover and explain Tzuyang's video who have no idea how to research or fact-check information, or even know any Korean in the first place. With a case as serious and heartbreaking as this, I hate seeing misinformation spread around.

@@soobin-10792 Honestly thank you for clearing alot of these things up, however, a ton of the information being spread around was going around really quick and a lot got lost in translation or even other Koreans not truly knowing the full story and giving what they think happened with the situation. I did not make this video to purposely spread misinformation, I could only explain with what I had at the time, I don’t know Korean and there hasn’t been any english translations of her story as of recording the video I made (as far as i know). I do apologize for the misunderstandings and mistakes I’ve made and my intentions weren’t to spread anything negative.
