Well done Mr Duffs! Good for seeing how rounds can come close and then slip away... Just to give you a heads up, as you continue to get better, you are going to want to be confident that your "89" is a true 89. The modified OB and Lost Ball rule saves you from going back to the tee, but you're hitting from approximate length (in the fairway) but you are hitting #4. (The idea is, had you gone back to the tee to hit #3, you would "probably" end up somewhere in the fairway about as far as your first (lost/ob) ball went.) The only time you 'only take 1' is when you hit it into a hazard marked with stakes, and you take the appropriate relief and a penalty stroke. (I always say, one in, one out, hitting 3 when I'm in the drink or in a lateral hazard.) But if you have lost your ball or gone ob, think had I gone back to the tee to hit #3 I'd have ended up about here. Keep going, your swing looks good, and once you get your short game together, your next goal will be to break 80!
@@DannyDuffs I hope it was good. It's funny but I used to have good streaks of ball striking and bad streaks. I recently started approaching my swing routine using "stack and tilt". For the first time I feel confident in my ball striking time after time.
I just came across your channel and I'm really enjoying your vids as a high handicapper myself. One small suggestion: call it "making" par, not "saving" par - par is a great score at our level!
Sir… par is a birdie. Birdie is an eagle LOL A lot of times my pars don’t come from GIRs so technically I am trying to get up and down to save par but I know what you mean! Getting cold now so seems like gotta pack it up for the next season!
Hey bro I really want to tip you but seems that I was not able to, but I just want to let you know that it's a great video and it's very relatable to me haha (I'm also a player around 90-100), keep working on your game and the videos, great job!

Good to see you back out Danny. Great video as always! Looks like your fairway strikes are on point. Now you're having fun. Let's go!!!
Thanks Jeff. Funny how you mentioned I’m getting better with ball striking. Should have seen my round today… 😂

@@DannyDuffs is what it is, and I think we are both showing improvement as we go.
