Geez, I thought you had the best golf channel on UA-cam before this video. This story makes it so much greater. I actually quit golf in my early 20s because I got very good at it but it became frustrating to me that there was a level I ultimately couldn’t achieve. My two sons have taken up golf in there late teens in the last year, my wife played on her high school team, and now I’m back into it and it’s been great to play as a family during this pandemic. I actually love golf again. I’ll probably never be back at the level I was when I was younger but I enjoy it so much more now. Your channel helps people to see you don’t have to have a perfect swing or hit the ball a mile to still play good or even great golf. It’s very encouraging. I look forward to watching many more of your rounds.
Thanks so much for the kind words. It's awesome that you're able to enjoy golf with your entire family - that's pretty rare and I'm sure you cherish it! Indeed, golf also humbles us. It's great that you still love the game even if your lowest score may be behind you. Then again, sometimes those low scores pop up when you least expect them :D
Golf sidekick, thanks for the break 90 video. I’ve done it a few times , but not enough!!! I’m trying to put it all into one round, but keep 🤬ing it up. Waddaplaya⛳️👍
great story. i played golf obsessively until college. then around 2007, after college, the opiate epidemic sunk its teeth in to me and i stopped playing. 15 years later, i have a few clean years and i started playing again last year. i forgot how much i loved this game... the passion for golf and life is back. amazing stuff. keep it up!
Been playing for over 50 yrs. Handicap has ranged from 11 to 22-ish. I have also played some baseball, billiards and tennis in my life and I was better at billiards than golf, but as bad as I ever was at golf, I never wanted to truly stop playing. Been VERY fortunate to play many of the great courses in the US and Scotland/Ireland. Good or bad, I have had many of my most awesome, memorable, enjoyable experiences in my life on the golf course. To add to these blessings, I introduced (did not teach) the game to my son, now 39 and a single digit handicap golfer, and my now 11 year old daughter, a 21 handicapper who just had her first official tournament 3 days ago, which she won 1st place in her age group. We are all going to Bandon to play together for 5 days in early July. As a father of two golfers, what a treat that will be. For me, no matter how bad I might play, I have never wanted to stop playing. Sorry for the longish post.
I never played golf till i got cancer and i took up golf to get outside and exercise on my own as everyone i know were working love it now its exciting, frustrating, exhilarating
If I was lucky to be reborn the one thing I would want in my new life again is golf - it’s given me so much fun and friends and great times - everything else wouldn’t be a mandatory reason to come back It’s great for well being and health
Wow. I’ve been following you for awhile now. Why? Because I can’t golf anymore. Arthritis in left ankle, left knee, spinabifada in lower back with arthritis around it. My wife got me a custom fitted set of golf clubs. I love her and my clubs. Best I’ve ever shot is an 83. It was a great day. Sadly I’ll be selling all my golf stuff this spring. I’m going to try to learn how to play the guitar. But I told my wife I will sell my clubs before I buy a guitar. Love your 18 in (about) 8 minute videos. Reminds me of when I could play.🥺🥺 Keep posting videos please. I’ll keep watching. ❤️⛳️🏌🏻♂️ From one Canadian to another… thank you very very much. 🇨🇦😎
While I do love golf, in my personal life the sport that changed me was mountain biking. I was at my lowest point in my life and happened to watch a video of people just messing around out on their local trails. It looked like so much fun and a real challenge. So later that week I thought to my self, "Hey I own a bike, this looks fun and I've ridden on roads since I was a kid, how hard could this be?" So I went for a ride at the local trail system, little did I know the bike I had was terrible for trail riding and I almost crashed several times. But that first ride changed me profoundly. The adrenaline and the feeling of accomplishment when you overcame a section of trail you didn't even think was possible is hard to describe. You also experience something similar to what you described with golf where all you are thinking about is the trail and not crashing but also pushing through the fatigue. If I hadn't found MTB my life may have ended because of how low that point was and I am thankful every day that I clicked on that video 5 years ago.
Great video. Thank you for sharing your story. My step dad and grandpa introduced me to the game when I was a teenager. I didn’t take it seriously until recently.
Adam Hey - just stumbled on your channel yesterday with you playing Pasatiempo. I remember hearing the tv announcers talk about how Julie Inskster played there a lot and how Lauren Robert’s worked there at the half way snack bar selling Pimento sandwiches and how it was Alister Mackenzie’s master work and how it was Public ! - to boot. I started as a caddy when I was 15 and have played ever since - even won a few club tournaments. Anyway, I too am a transplant recipient. I got my first heart transplant in 1990 and my second in 2016. I was texting back and forth with Eric Compton back 2016 while I was waiting for a donor. Anyway, enjoy your health and of course the golf and keep the vids coming. ✌️✌️
Second video I've watched on your channel, and now I'm subscribed. This had all the feels. I'm happy for you and looking forward to watching all your videos.
My father taught me golf and we played while I was growing up. I am in my 50's, my Dad is battling cancer and last week we played what may have been our last round of golf together. I play the game with my step-son and grandson and we are building memories that I hope will last their lifetime.
Thanks for sharing your story. I just found your channel today. My wife and I recently started playing golf to exercise, she is pre-transplant (lungs). Her condition has deteriorated to the point that she doesn't have the strength or energy to play, at this time I'm looking forward to her post transplant when we can play together. The local VA golf course offers free lessons for its members, where we were taking lessons before her decline. I will show her your video and hope it inspires her to continue with golf as rehab after the surgery. Thank you
Great video and really enjoying your channel! I grew up playing golf through my teenage years, then worked and studied a lot overseas and never had my clubs with me. I'm currently taking a break from work to figure out what I want to do next, and re-finding my passion for golf in my 30s has been amazing. As a younger golfer I was very hard on myself and would ruin entire rounds by being very negative and unable to forget bad shots. Now I try to channel mindfulness and a short memory and just enjoy the privilege of being outside on a beautiful piece of land for 4hrs. Keep up the amazing work!
Awesome story...just found ur channel....so I will share that I used to play with some frequency up to maybe 15+ years ago....more often than not, I'd play nine holes as i had 3 kids during much of that time. Fast forward to now the days of Covid….I was furloughed, then let go from my job and out of work for sixteen months….as a soon to be sixty year old, living alone, I was playing a lot of online chess but as spring arrived, I decided to golf again…I’d go to my favorite driving range which had a nine hole hokey course, but didn’t have confidence to go to a real course…I was golfing by myself as no one played that course at that range…then I upgraded to an executive course and again, this in May 2021….again, was playing by myself as the course wasn’t busy when I was going….and I started going a lot. 11 days in June, 19 in July, when I also found an 18 hole course that was cheap as well. I was playing more times than I ever had before and I have scores on an excel sheet that cover from say 1991-2003. When I got a job in August, I then had to switch to weekends. It’s now what I enjoy most and in Maryland here in January after the first weekend it got gold and for a month I was limited to driving range maybe on a weekend in 20 and 30 degree temps….yesterday I got out as it was fifty. During this time I’ve also practiced in my apartment, putting into empty Pringles cans, and I chip against my Grandpap’s Lazy Boy recliner from the 70s as it returns the ball back to me. I look forward to more of your video’s but thought I’d share this response. I am now less than 18 mos from age 62 and while I don’t see myself retiring per se, I can see myself maybe cutting back to part time. Oh, and a new job I have I just found out I have to work 2 Saturday’s month, which floored me…looks like I will be getting a new job as golf is more important to me.
Hi Adam, loved your channel after you did that joint video with Matt from Golf Sidekick. I would recommend the book, "Golf is not a game of perfect" by Dr. Bob Rotella to everyone here. I read that book and shot a personal best of 86, from the blue tees on my home course, the day after. I am a currently a 25 handicap, so that score meant a lot to me. I now know I have the potential to do better if I practice, apply course management and get my head in the right place on the course.
What an amazing and emotional story. I'm so happy for you, man. I love watching your channel while I eat and seeing you pull out great scores while also having more than enough stinker shots is quite inspirational. I returned to the sport this year, after not playing for the most part of my 20s. After i turned 30, me and my best friend (who I have met through golf youth when we were 10) decided to start again. Best decision of the year. After a few rounds, I'm playing between 87 (best) and 95 (worst) so far and hoping to break 85 this year. Much love.
I got into golf in November (2022) and ran into your vlogs a few months ago. I would watch your vids because you seemed to swing just like me, as opposed to many of the other youtubers that claim to be average golfers but have the perfect swing Haha. Anyway, this was the first time I've seen this specific post about your story. It's very touching, and I am so happy for you. I'm still currently a 30 handicap, but very determined. I play 2-3x a week, hit in my backyard daily, so I'm hoping that I can slowly bring that handicap down. I've found golf to center me, as it does for you and many others. Keep up the great work, and continue posting your journey. I, myself, am now a fan of yours. Cheers brother.
Liked, downloaded, saved. I’ve been watching your videos for awhile now and I had no idea of your health issues that you’ve overcame. Your story is amazing. Cheers
I got hepatitis a had to spend 9 days in the hospital I've suffered scarring on my liver I had to have 2 gallons fluid drained from my abdomen every couple weeks for 3 months I lost 140 pound in 6 months due to muscle waste and no being able to eat I had to use a Walker to get around I was a mid 80s golfer before with a solid 275 to 300 yard drive (I'm a big guy) to get my muscle back is started walking 9 holes at an exec course 2 years later I'm still only driving it about 200 yards but I'm straighter than ever and I'm still trying to break 100 again but I enjoy playing so much more than before and watching your videos gives me hope I can get my game back or learn how to get around the course without the long ball
I rarely comment about any YT videos, but..... all of us (not just those who play golf) should take a moment and reflect on what you offer. Your story is inspirational and many of us need an opportunity to focus (or re-focus) on what is important in life. We all should take a moment to back away from the day-to-day treadmill of life and pay attention to what really matters in life. Keep doing what you are doing!
I have been watching your videos for a while. Love the commentary while watching you play cause, let's be honest, too many other people talk too much and I appreciate you commentate while playing vs talking so much before each shot. I like that you do on more difficult shots or shots that require so extra thought though. I have a toddler and am a full time stay home dad with him so when I have free time to watch videos, I fast forward a lot to see shots and I don't have to do that with your videos. I will have to get to Canada someday to play. If you ever come to northwest Ohio, I will.come play or watch you live in action! Love to see your chipping and putting in person. Glad your healthy. Keep making those videos!
God bless you man, and thank god for golf.. 68 y/o took my first lesson at 10 after watching Arnold Palmer...no one in my family had ever played, but they saw my passion and let me learn this game for a lifetime... Have been fortunate to have a friends that have been like brothers.. all these years 2 of which are still kicking... Sidekick calls it boyfriends we've always called it man time...It's the one constant we've shared thru the good times and very hard times life throws at us all. Pretty sure i would have jumped from the 3rd floor more than once without them and golf in my life.... So just this Thursday i'm at work, my buddie rolls up out of the blue, says he's headed to a Dr. apt. the kind u'd don't want to go to..All of a sudden out comes his shite eating grin, he pulls a scorecard out..... he had shot an 82, with his son and son in law that weekend... i swear he hasn't broken 90 in the last 10 years...the last time he and i played I told him his game is coming......and he would break 90 soon.... I pulled his butt outta the car and tried to break his ribs with a hug.... your story made me tear up, and reflect how golf bonds us in a way i don't think other sports can.. always encouraging each other to "Hit a Great Shot", or from 10 rows deep in the trees, "this is gonna be one hell of a par from here"... how thankful i have been to have golf and my boyfriends in my life.... PS i had to check your channel out since i have a son named Adam.... He's a great kid like you obviously are, apologize for the long rant....
Hello from New Zealand. Been following your channel for a few months now and am enjoying the content. What makes me love golf so much? I learnt to play golf from a golf pro/english teacher at Highschool. My Dad started playing at the same time and it was an awesome Father/Son sport. Of course he was better than me, but thanks to Handicap system we would always have great competitions. Dad passed away 27 years ago, and i now have two boys 11 and 13. Hoping they will both discover how awesome the game is too! Cheers, Tom Carr, Palmerston North, NZ.
Just started watching your channel. My first round was under the lights at a Pitch and Putt in Dubai while on a Naval Deployment to the Middle East. I only remember one good shot (about 15 feet from the hole). I started playing regularly upon returning to the states. Make it a great day!
This hits home. 8 years ago my dad had a liver transplant. It happened fast and he’s a lottery winner that he got a transplant in time. He now plays 3 times a week and we’re playing Pebble Beach in April. It’s an honor. This is inspiring thanks for sharing!
Amazing, thanks for sharing. A buddy from work played in a golf league and they became short a player, so asked me to play even though I’d never played before. It was a big struggle but being in the league forced me to go every week, and I got hooked on trying to improve and catch up to where my mates were. I give them a lot of credit for their patience!!
Hi Adam! I used to weigh 550 pounds. I had weight loss surgery about 3 years ago and decided to try things i could never do before. Golf was one of those. I’ve never looked back! Thank you for all your content!
Love your story!!!!! I started golf 10 years ago, my friend was a PGA certified fitter and teacher, he helped me so much!!!! On 12-18-14 we played a match play round and i won!!!! He was such a good golfer and friend 1 month later he died suddenly .........I miss my friend....... after some time I went back to playing a sport i love. Your story has inspired me to be the best i can be and did shoot 69 3 weeks ago but 84 is about normal, Keep in mind you inspire others !! If ever you come to South Carolina let me know ............Golf it is!!!
You are blessed, sir. I enjoy your channel. I have a child who requires 24 hr assistance. She was born with a condition and I don’t get to play. But it’s my unfulfilled passion to play, vicariously I get to see and feel golf again through watching you.
Man, came across this instantly subscribed. Love the story man did u ever have anymore contact with the liver transplant's mother. I'm 36 started golfing a year ago I live pretty close to ya on Vancouver island. My wife started doing lady nights at a crappy par 3 and she enjoyed it so I decided to pick it up and I can't stop thinking about it now... I watch it, study it, dream about it. The majority of people o have met are just as excited about it as I love the Reddit community I can't believe I didn't start younger. Funny enough this all started after I had a liver resection, not a transplant, but they found a tumour and had to remove more than half my liver... after my recovery was when my wife and I started playing. I look forward to following your progress and enjoyment of the game Cheers
Great story. I started working as a stationary engineering manager at a country club in Kansas city; had no interest in the game of golf at all. Finally, some of my staff decided to drag me to the course; I was bad, really bad; however this was new to me and slightly enjoyable. A few months later after getting to practice once or twice a week for 15 minutes here and there I hit a tremendous iron shot; it was straight and long. After that moment, I was hooked. I've played in a few scramble tournaments, bought a nice new bag, have started parring holes and occasionally getting a birdie, am looking at new clubs, and even watching golf on tv. 😯 This game is maddening, yet incredibly fulfilling. So happy to hear that you found a treasure in the game of golf.
I know this is an old video but , Golf saved my life too . I started having some pain in my clavicle while playing golf . I went to the doctor and it turned out to just be some inflammation. But X-rays showed what turned out to be cancer on my pancreas. They removed 1/3 of my pancreas. That was in 2020 and I’m still kicking.
Just awesome!!! My Uncle taught me the game when I was 10. I became hooked, wanting to be a pro, playing & practice for hours daily. It really helped distract my mind from problems at home. I won tournaments in high school & received multiple scholarships to play, but I was acting up without a Father at home hanging out with the wrong group. Instead I dropped out of school at 17 wasting opportunities. I stopped playing as often due to finances while living in California I couldn’t afford the price to play at the time so I pretty much quit. Well, this year I moved to Midwest where you can afford to have hobbies such as golf again & have been playing 2-3 rounds a week past 2 months! I almost forget how much I need this game, it’s all I want to do & I’ve decided that I want to become a Golf Coach & help others enjoy this therapeutic yet frustrating game we love, GOLF! You are an inspiration my friend. Thank you for your time⛳️
Wow man. That's incredible. What a story. Now I understand your attitude on the golf course, or at least the reason for it. It's the funnest most frustrating game out there but at the end of the day it's just a game. Getting pissed over a bad shot only guarantees another bad shot and for me my good attitude on the course comes from realizing that I never practiced. Ever. I just played. So I had no right to ever get mad. Then I watch the pros hit bad shots every weekend and think man we have alot of nerve to be upset over missing fairways and greens. Anyway, I enjoy your content. Love the talking through your thought process over each shot and that the videos are shorter than most put out. Most of these guys drop a 45 minutes 6 hole video that's loaded with extra junk I'm just not interested in. Gonna drop you a sub and wish you great health. Keep it on the short stuff.
IDK how after seeing all of your videos (or at least i thought i did) i never viewed this one! Beautiful story. Golf is my passion and something I frankly could not live without. My father - an avid and fantastic golfer - started teaching myself and my two brothers as early as he could. By 12 I was all in however my brothers gravitated towards soccer and left golf to my father and I. There him and I were...on the range together. Golfing every weekend we could. A father passing down his knowledge of the game and life lessons to his middle son. I lived for those moments. On the course is where my dad came alive. He joked. He laughed. Something i think he should of done more of off the course. So much quality time spent with him 1 on 1. Unfortunately - he passed very suddenly and quickly when I was 19. I miss him every day and I'm almost at the point in my life where I've been without him longer than I had him in my life which is crazy to think about. Deep down it makes me sad my brothers never got to meet their 'real' father - who there dad was on the course. My dad's last words to me before he passed was 'Michael gets my golf clubs.' - his Titelist DCI are still in my bag today. I just can't seem to let them go and by a new set...maybe one day. I love Golf for the simple game that it is...a man's endless pursuit of this tiny stupid white ball...but more importantly I love the game bc it's the game my father and I shared for so many years. I can still feel him with me every time i step on the 1st tee. I miss you dad but i know that as long as I play this game you never really left. Duane Thomas McConeghy 10/1/55 - 5/31/05 ❤
So it’s crazy came across your channel about 2 weeks ago while watching some golf sidekick videos. Instantly hit the follow button and love your content. I was diagnosed with an auto immune disease when I was 25. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, after seeing multiple specialist that couldn’t figure out what was going on with me. Well in the time it took to figure everything out I had withered away, went from 190lbs to 105lbs in 6months. Well in recovery and physical therapy I wasn’t able to play the sport I had played my entire life which is basketball. Well a very close friend of mine had been trying to get me to play golf for years and I never got into it just wasn’t my thing. Well I wanted to be more active so he offered again. I went out and walked a local course with him and fell in love with the game. Started walking 9 and eventually I was able to start walking 18. The sport slowly but surely helped me get back to 100% and I’ve stuck with it ever since. It’s honestly frustrating that I didn’t get into it when I was younger but now that I’m here I’m never leaving this game.
I live in NY and also have an autoimmune disease, I have IDB or Ulcerative Colitis. I started playing golf during COVID and much like you I started playing one day and just got hooked on it. I was invited to a tournament for vets that takes place by my friend who has PTSD and the guy the tournament is actually for and I just never stopped. Now I played at least once every weekend and sometimes 2-3 times a week. Your channel has been super informative to me and maybe one day I'll record myself playing golf too and put on UA-cam when I actually consider myself good enough to do it.
I've been watching your channel for a while now but am just seeing this video for the first time and WOW, what an absolutely amazing story. I am just getting back into the game myself and your videos have been a huge inspiration to me. Looking forward to more great content for years to come!
Great channel, great content and excellent story. I'm getting back into the game after 30 years and am hooked this time despite struggling on the course. Subscribed.
I agree with Jboat571, I think you have just about the best golf channel on UA-cam. I do like Rick Shield's channel as well, not so much as he is a great golfer (he does have a beautiful swing though!), but I like the entertainment value: Rick's English accent and that he doesn't seem to take himself too seriously and is just having fun. You have that same energy and charisma Adam! Plus, this particular video is just awesome. Thank you very much for sharing your story. I am now one of your almost 30K subscribers! I hope you make it over a million.
Adam, this really struck a cord with me. Like you, golf was also a saving grace in my life. When i was 21 years old i struggled heavily with drugs and alcohol. For about 5 years all i cared about was the drink after work and the party on the weekend. It came to a point where i had to fess to my parents and loved ones and checked myself into rehab. The first few months were extremely rough and i knew i needed a find a hobby. I was an avid golfer in highschool so i figured why not pick it up again and here we are 16 months sober and i’m golfing as much as i possibly can. When i’m on that golf course there is seriously no better high ill ever get with any sort of substance. Your content is amazing and it is incredibly inspiring how many strokes you take off with a very clean short game. Keep up the good work my man and thank you for sharing your story.
Way to go Mike. I’d like to touch on something you said if that’s okay. Like you, I love golf. But also like you before you recovered from your addiction, I too am always thinking about and sometimes only care about Friday and getting to play the next round of golf, which is the “weekend party” for me. I know there’s more important less fun stuff to be done, but sometimes the thinking of golf encompasses you and everything else is ignored, even if it’s not the time to ignore something. That’s where my problem lies. What advice do you have for that?
Your story is so damn incredible. I have also found golf to be therapeutic in more than one way. I have an autoimmune disease as well, and I work a desk job that’s slowly killing my health. Golf has inspired me to take better care of myself, and I’ve been improving slowly but surely. I played a lot of golf as a kid but I fell out of love with it until my early 30’s. Now I wish I could play all day every day lol. Thank you for doing what you do and inspiring us all.
I have watched litterally hundreds of golf UA-cam videos, 99% which have been instruction. I can honestly say that I've learned more from this channel than all the other videos put together. I will never be a low single digit handicap or maybe even a high single digit handicap and that is OK. What I have learned from this site is how to get the best out of my game with the swing I have, and most important, enjoy it! Thank you.
What a powerful story. Glad to hear you are in good health. You look 10 years younger than the photos during your illness. I juat discovered your channel a few days ago. You and Golf Sidekick are the 2 best golf channels on UA-cam. Both of you are excellent golf instructors by example. Never a word about swing mechanics but more instructive than all the teaching pros.
Golf, man. Awesome story. Glad you’re well and thanks for bringing us your unique content. When I can’t get out there and hack it up, I love to watch people enjoying and respecting the game. Keep up the good work!
Its such an inspiring story and is one of the biggest reasons behind why I picked golf clubs up and gave this game a chance 2 years ago.. thank you Adam!
beautiful story. wishing you the best and if you'll allow it i'd love to keep you in my prayers. especially during easter, in a time of renewal and resurrection. cheers
All this time I’ve been watching your golf videos and never saw this one / never knew the wild backstory behind your passion. I’m genuinely moved I started playing golf when I was a kid and my dad would take me to a course in our town for twilight rounds. I loved it. I love the concept of competing against yourself for better scores. When I graduated college, I moved back to my home town for work and made it a point to play golf with my dad once or twice a week. I considered it valuable time with my father who showed me the game, and I knew I would cherish that time one day when he was gone. Unfortunately, he was gone sooner than expected. He died in 2020 of pancreatic cancer at 62. It still hurts to know I can’t play with him anymore, but I’m extremely grateful to my past self for committing that time to spend with him out on the course. I get a golf membership at a local course every year and try to play 3+ times per week
So I'm too old to start with golf at my 40 😢
Legend of the Game
Takes one to know one playa 😎👍
Normally I say for me "music safes" ... but fill in the dot's and golf would be an understandable good one too. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
WADDAPLAYA!!!
Look in the mirror man! Love your vids!
Edit: Just subbed
Golf sidekick, thanks for the break 90 video. I’ve done it a few times , but not enough!!! I’m trying to put it all into one round, but keep 🤬ing it up. Waddaplaya⛳️👍
I got chills before watching this video, I knew somehow this was special
great story. i played golf obsessively until college. then around 2007, after college, the opiate epidemic sunk its teeth in to me and i stopped playing. 15 years later, i have a few clean years and i started playing again last year. i forgot how much i loved this game... the passion for golf and life is back. amazing stuff. keep it up!
Golf sidekick said it best.
Thanks for sharing man ✌
Thanks!
Amazing story. This could easily be a segment on Good Morning America or something.
Adam, I’m glad you’re around and well….
Thanks for sharing your story. Glad you reconnected to the golf course and that your procedure was successful.
Just seeing this now. Thank you so much for sharing!
I never played golf till i got cancer and i took up golf to get outside and exercise on my own as everyone i know were working love it now its exciting, frustrating, exhilarating
Haven't watched this since after the first time we played together. Watching it now, looking forward to AZ, I am glad you made it.
Inspiring story and channel. You honor your donor by continuing this passion for golf.
If I was lucky to be reborn the one thing I would want in my new life again is golf - it’s given me so much fun and friends and great times - everything else wouldn’t be a mandatory reason to come back
It’s great for well being and health
Wow. Chills. 🙏
Reminds me of when I could play.🥺🥺
Keep posting videos please. I’ll keep watching. ❤️⛳️🏌🏻♂️
From one Canadian to another… thank you very very much. 🇨🇦😎
When you said your donor was a passionate golfer I got chills
Thanks, I certainly got chills when I read the note for the first time!!
Seriously. Full on chicken skin 🐓
I read this comment and thought "ok this is coming, it wont have that impact on me now that I know its coming" and it still had that impact on me.
I yelled “no way”!👍🏼❤️
While I do love golf, in my personal life the sport that changed me was mountain biking. If I hadn't found MTB my life may have ended because of how low that point was and I am thankful every day that I clicked on that video 5 years ago.
what a beautiful story ... Golf is a great Game of life...
Amazing. Thank you for all the hard work I’m sure it takes to share with us
May u always be passionate in your life it has served you well♥️
Great story, happy your on the other side of this.👍👊
Great video.
Thank you for sharing your story!
Thank you
Your story is very inspiring, thank you for sharing. Keep up the great content! New to the Chanel but you have a fan in me.
Thank you for sharing your story
After watching your UA-cam channel I’m determined to break 80 this year!
Love this. Enjoy the grind!
Much love.
Love the channel. So happy to see you feeling well
I got into golf in November (2022) and ran into your vlogs a few months ago.
I am glad you are here!
Liked, downloaded, saved. I’ve been watching your videos for awhile now and I had no idea of your health issues that you’ve overcame. Your story is amazing. Cheers
One of the best golf vids ever. Glad you’re here man.
Awesome story! New subscriber...looking forward to catching up! :)
Very inspiring. Thank you for sharing.
DOPE STUFF! LIFE CHANGING STUFF! GOD BLESS YOU BRO
I enjoy your videos man. This is awesome
Thanks for making this video. Very inspirational, I might go play a round of golf right now
so amazing man! love your channel and wish you nothing but the best! Golf 4 life! 4Fore!!!
Your a great example of strength. Great video and amazing story. God bless and thank you for sharing.
What a great story! How I love the view of Vancouver, the city I would love to live in if I moved to Canada.
Great story man. love watching your videos. Hope all is well on and off the links.
great story!
Hi Adam! I used to weigh 550 pounds. I had weight loss surgery about 3 years ago and decided to try things i could never do before. Golf was one of those. I’ve never looked back! Thank you for all your content!
That was amazing!
Very cool story bro
Wow, this is incredible to hear. I'm really glad that I can help fulfill that for you. All the best to you and your family :)
Fantastic story, thanks for sharing. I'm glad you have found good health and your passion.
Truly inspiring brotha, glad I found your channel. Avid golfer here too!!!
great story, i just discovered your channel
I look forward to following your progress and enjoyment of the game
Cheers
5:00 as a part of your audience, I confirm that I care!
Thanks for the kind words. Never knew my content would find an audience on YT and it's always nice to get feedback like this :)
Glad you made it through bud god bless your donor!!!
“My son was a passionate golfer”. That one got me
Great story. I enjoy watching your content ❤
Really great story man and nice video! Love your content.
God has plans for you. Great channel and now I'm a new fan.
So inspiring man
So it’s crazy came across your channel about 2 weeks ago while watching some golf sidekick videos.
Great story, great guy!Let me know if you come to NYC area. Definitely want to meet you and have a nice round in my club. Keep up the good work Adam!
AMAZING!!!
Mike, this is an amazing story and I'm so happy that you shared it. You have a friend and supporter in me. Go low out there - all the best!
2 yrs into recovery myself and golf is a huge part of my success
Beautiful bro👊🏻
Its such an inspiring story and is one of the biggest reasons behind why I picked golf clubs up and gave this game a chance 2 years ago.. thank you Adam!
beautiful story. wishing you the best and if you'll allow it i'd love to keep you in my prayers. especially during easter, in a time of renewal and resurrection. cheers
Amazing story ❤
Great story!
This gave me goosebumps. Amazing story
I play Irish pitch and putt since my family plays it. Got back into roughly 9 months ago, and I'm loving it.
All this time I’ve been watching your golf videos and never saw this one / never knew the wild backstory behind your passion. I’m genuinely moved
I started playing golf when I was a kid and my dad would take me to a course in our town for twilight rounds.
Amazing
