Just a small information I am giving here.There is a portion of Rig Veda (10th Mandala 127th Suktam)which is dedicated to a Goddess Ratri,(Ratri means night,she is associated with darkness).Before the creation of universe there was darkness.We are all born from darkness.
I have listened to almost all the songs of Sooryagayathri that are available in the public media. I have no doubt in my mind that she deserves a national award and for this Barathiyar song. Its impossible for anyone to sing this song so exquisitely at this age. God bless SG. 👌.

If U R still not convinced, just type Kakkai Siraginile by Unni Krishnan, U will get it in the U Tube. As far the Swara quoted by you, one thing is your interpretation and another thing is when she has tried many variants for each line so to embellish and bring out the beauty in ample measure, as per Composer / Music arrranger's wish, there may be a chance for getting drifted into an allied note. But, this song is definitely based on Brindavani / Brindavana Saaranga only. Thanx

Oh Soorya, what a presentation. Even great Bharathiyaar will be confused, if he have to enjoy your song eyes closed or open. While listening to this, i can't keep my eyes open, such a devine feel it is. But how can I close my eyes when Soorya the beauty with such a great expression is there in the screen. I don't know whether I have to enjoy the song or the music or your beautiful expression or your great VOICE...
