even when the poet Mahakavi Subramaniya Bharathiyar passed away only 14 people attended his funeral
They say not enough people were present at his funeral as the flies on his body.Great patriot.We should always remember Dec.10 and Sept.11,being his birth and death dates.Have we forgotten such great souls and are being brainwashed by SUN TV? I was fortunate enough to visit his small memorial at Triplicane,Chennai.

Bharathi himself was a polyglot, and I got Bhavadgeetha with Tamil meaning given by the great poet, as prize for scoring first mark in Samskrit(olden and golden days)in III form( 8th grade)in Municipal High School,Salem wayback in 1948!

Rather wonderful rendition by Sooryagayatri, making me to cry, remembering my lost daughter, who had lived just for three days only. (By this time she would have been a bit elder to Sooryagayatramma...! ) Since then I have been trying to see my past daughter in so many children. Now Sooryagayatri has been my dear one. With this singing she has brought out so many emotions and sentiments which were frozen within me and that's why I am getting lightened with continuous flow of tears drenching the dried out life in some nook corner of my heart, which, now is ready to sprout again.
A very big salute to Kavi Bharathiyar and the music director P Jayaraman who has squeezed each word of the lyric to bring out emotions, sentiments, quelling out the essence of each word through his tuning with quirky crisp sangatis and apt background scoring, presenting genuine feeling of a father - especially in my case - toward his daughter.

No one is arguing about Sooryagayathri's singing talent. However Kuldeep ji himself has asked of us fans (in a previous youtube post) to be aware that he is not the only guru for her and other child stars. I'm merely pointing out that this video is one that Kuldeep ji has not directed.

சங்கீதம் என்ன மாயம் செய்ததோ தெரியவில்லை.
என் பாடசாலை நாட்களில் நான் முதலில் மேடை ஏறி பாடிய பாடல் என்று கூறுவதை விட என் சங்கீத வாழ்க்கையை துவக்கி வைத்த பாடல் என்று கூறுவதே பெறுமை. என்றும் எங்கும் வாழ்க தமிழ்.
இசை இயக்குநர் திரு,ஜயராமன் தன் உணர்வு முழுதும் பிரதிபலிக்கும் பாசத்தை இந்தப் பாடலிற்குத் த்ந்து, "எங்கள் கலி தீர்க்க, வந்த "பாடும் சின்னஞ்சிறு பசுங்கிளி சூர்ய காயத்ரி" குரல் வழியே வழிய விட்டுள்ளார்!!

ஆனால், எம் எஸ் அவர்களின் குரலிற்கு அடுத்த நிலையில் ஸ்வர சுத்தம், பாவ சுத்தம், லய சுத்தம், ராக சுத்தம் எல்லாம் ஒருங்கிணைந்து சூர்ய காயத்ரியின் குரல் அவளது முழுக் கட்டுப்பாட்டில் விளையாடுவது அபூர்வம்!!
நல்லிசையைக் கொலை செய்த திரைப் பாடல்களின் இரைச்சல் பேரோசைகளால் நொந்து நைந்து போயிருந்த நிலையில் இவள் ஒரு சங்கீத தேவதை!!
