Great looking car,here in the UK the police do not have cars that are made for them,the traffic cops use BMW wagons or BMW X5,they also use cars that are taken off of drug dealers,they use these as unmarked cars to catch people speeding and also watching for people that they don't want to be spotted in a normal cop car.That car looks a bit like a beefy ford focus with a swept backend.

Drove a cop car for 20 years
The cars will have a lot of idle time on the engines.
Most departments do maintenance on a regular basis on the cars.
The cage in the back are big pain to take out some won't fit into other vehicles so if the department went to a different type of vehicle that's another reason they won't pull them.
Look forward to seeing the work on these.
From what I understand is Ford has discontinued the sedan and most departments are going to the Interceptor Utility. They still have a bunch of sedans in service but they will be gradually phased out. That may be why they left the divider.

It definitely would not be. It has frame rail damage and it would be alot more work to fix it seeing all the parts that would need to be swapped. Plus it has slightly higher mileage.
Lets see if they left any police extras in the car . . . . opening the glove box we find a 44 Magnum ." . . . the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off . . . ". Hmmmmm , Clint would feel comfortable with that ! !

How fast are they, and how well do they handle? That's all I really want to know.
My 2014 interceptor has 280HP. V6 AWD drive train & flex fuel. Very torquey and smooth ride along with the chassis being nice and stiff due to added braces / reinforced chassis
