@@jefflong9295 You do know the galvanized cage will fall apart eventually and the rocks will be washed away. Plus I envision a wire stuck in my 13 year olds foot. 6-8 feet of sand disappear and re-appear like magic on the shifting sands of Zaragoza. 🙂
It's coming along! Watched a sailing channel episode this morning as I was waking up/having coffee. The owner of the cgannel is an avid sailor with a wealth of knowledge when it cones to sailing... He shared a video of another sailor getting ready for Milton near Tampa, FL... The dude has a beautiful Leapord 47 cat and is batting it down for the storm... Rather rhan evacuation, he's chisen to stay in his house and with his boat... His house is battened up too and is about 10 feet above sea level... They haven't finished cleaning up from the last storm yet, so lively debris will be everywhere as soon as it hits... Expected surge is 12 to 15 feet above sea level... Risky, but apparently, he feels it's the best option. I'm sure he's thinking about his boat, but... Hope he, his family, the house, and boat will be okay... He's also got 3 months of food and water, fuel, etc. stored for emergencies... Back to you... Preparing now as you're doing is going to provide peace of mind... On to the Vikings... Shakiest W of the season. Lots of mitigating circumstances, but definitely some areas to improve over the bye week... Still undefeated though, and after the Kitty Cats, the schedule gets easier... I'm predicting 2 losses, and winning the division over the kitties... Deep run in the playoffs, Super Bowl not out of possibility... SKOL!!! 🙏🙏🙏 👍😎👍
My 2 favorite dudes. The lions I think are gonna be tougher than the rest. We can get them though. Arron Jones is a great back but I think he needs another better backup. He gets hurt a lot cause he will bang you head on. I would love to smoke KC in the big dance. 😀✌️😀

Hi there, stay safe Comment / suggestion - take care with the angle at which you build your slope wall - if the angle is too shallow, then the sea will be encouraged to sweep up the slope and into your back area - ideally it should be either vertical or at a negative slope to the direction of the wave - take a look at the sea defences, that have been constructed further down the beach - be careful as the wrong angle, could cause you more problems....
@@MichaelBrown-gc1hw yes I just stopped him today from making the footing wall higher so I can keep the angle sharper. That’s a very good point. I will pay close attention now to gain the most vertical I can achieve.
I had a seaside lot in Miagao Iloilo. Seawall broke. We installed gabion filled with boulders, and topped with cement. 2 thick. With rebar. It's all gone. I hope you have better luck. @@RobertTayman-m9r Thanks, I’m probably gonna need it. If you were in Iloilo beach you may have been facing South when looking out to sea. Hopefully since I’m facing west in a cove it will shield me. Palawan is just off my horizon. I think a lot of the erosion comes from fresh water off the mountain flowing parallel to the beach. Once it digs a channel the high tide follows it and makes it worse. The perpendicular walls I had before have kept the erosion down. Enhancing it is really an experiment.

A long time ago I suggested gabion cages. Check them out. Should be much cheaper than all the concrete. Love your house!
