The next (abd hopefully the last for the season!) is there! Now you'll have time to do whatever repairs needed on the wall... Vikings girding up from injuries and returning injured players... The rebound starts this weekend (Sunday night early Monday local)... SKOL! 👍😎👍
@@62tofreedom51 strong vibrations during an earthquake can liquify wet soil into quicksand. Perhaps the wave pounding repeatedly liquified the beach sand for a fraction of a second and the end of the wall sank over hours.
Morning There 62 . Have a question for you..... Lets say if you were not married or have your little girl would you still want to live in the Philippines ? OR are you there just because of them ? Trying to make up my mine am I going to move there and what would moving there help me. Not looking for a girl friend or wife... Is it really that CHEAP LIVING IN THE PHILIPPINES ANYMORE ?
Hey Monty, yes it’s much cheaper that the US. Only gas is a little more. Labor, food, WiFi, transportation is cheaper. I only have car insurance because my health is good. Healthcare is so cheap I plan to pay cash. I would certainly come here but would stay in a bigger city for a condo
It’s way cheaper for me because I don’t have rent or house payment. Electric and food only. Free water, sewage and trash pickup. Electric is about $120.00 because we run 2 Carrier AC’s every night. Fans in the day. Fans only it would be $30.00-$40.00 bucks a month.
Perhaps dig down and lift wall with beams and pivots. Refill sand. Dig deep pier under end that won't be undercut by water scouring. Perhaps a small surface footer along the wall will stop water from scouring at the base of the wall. Similar to what you did at your main wall.

I thought the sand under the wall was washed away and the end of the wall dropped.
@ It broke when the tide was high and water rough.

Why you not put rebar in in the beginning, stupid move
Advised by builder not to use steel on the salt water. It made sense, hindsight 20/20
Its all about cost, you can get coated rebar. it is used in most developed countries building close to the sea,
@ It is about cost. I’m on Partial Social Security. I retired at 62.

Because if you’re not married to a Filipina you can’t own land, but you can own a condo.
