What a great game, nice seeing you embrace the late game war from time to time. Almost perfect use of your planes (in the first turnes you forgot to leave a few on intercept and the bombers pounded you) , air lifts and naval warfare. This is exactly what I would have done, raze the first coastal cities and choose the one city to keep that has sth like a chokepoint (mountain in this case) where you only need to clip 1-2 streets. Then the stack is in the open and you can finish it. Perfectly executed! I would like to see another "normal" game on the map script fantasy realm with those weird tile yields, I enjoyed your other game back then! Other than that it would still be nice to see mixed leaders (to maximize civ+leader bonus) or mixed traits (i.e. ghandi with shaka mentality). Just some low key inspiration for you. I absolutely enjoy all of your games! 😊
Really well played. Great game! That road/railroad pillage was really clutch! Nice use of airports. I chuckled when you said "You don't have an airport so you can build planes" 🙂Made sense but sounded funny. I wonder what would have happened if Brennus had managed to win the UN vote at some point.
Huge fun to watch Henrik, there was a good 30-40 turns just before / at the outset of the war where it felt like everything was on an absolute knife edge! Hugely well deserved victory, thanks for the great content! 👍👍
I'd say that was a well-earned win, stranger. Great stuff. Glad to see the grind pay off, I can definitely see why you don't want to do Deity all the time, hah.
What a brutal series of wars. NGL, I tend to give up in lategame civ 4 (or used to when I still played) because shuffling the units around all over the place is just too much of a PITA. Great work, man.
Loved this series! Would you consider a fun 'monarch' campaign as 'Europa', the hardest civ, in the Next War scenario? I really like playing it myself but am not the best at winning...
Good game, not easy the barbs, not easy to deal with mega Brennus. The only good thing is that Brennus was in his own religion the whole game and no other AI liked organized religion.
Pacal is pushover he cant hurt a fly and wouldnr vassal anyone or expand enough to begin with, monte and shaka are too terrible woth research they would struggle against mansa
How important do you consider the razing of 3-4 cities was in the beginning of the war? Would you say it just shortened the war by some turns or would you consider it being a necessarily way to go to cripple his production a bit?

brennus, born to be a space explorer, forced to be a warmonger. tragic.

Wow what a slog, well done for persevering through that war!!

Excellent game! Let's hear it for persistence. Yikes.
awesome game!
If there was a civ 4 e sports league you’d be MVP! Any ideas for the next game?

GG!
Super cool game. Loved seeing the modern warfare. How different do you think that game would have been connected to the main continent?
If near saladin mehmed i couldve taken them out but probably still a tank showdown against brennus
Im starting to think this is your revenge from when brennus attacked you from the Victoria game

Can you imagine this big war against Pacal/ Monty or Shaka? Would it be even more difficult than with Brennus? . Amazing game!!

This was a good game unfortunately you didnt have a Ghandi incident
yes, need to play as gandhi to do the nuke thing
Yeah that.
Just thinking back to my early Chieftain days where Id just open tech tree and click nukes at 3k bc

At what point do you think it's better to nuke their stack rather than grind it down?
Probably the next game tbh
