He was distant, didn't show up to dinner or marriage counseling, stayed out without telling her where he was, when she asked about a woman at a club who seemed to know him, he acted like she was crazy. He was also verbally abusive. Its pretty obvious he slept with other woman when they were together and Jessica had an emotional affair with Johnny Knoxville. Neither party was innocent, but don't put all the blame on Jessica. Nick was 26 and she was 18 when they got together, it was a weird power dynamic and their relationship was very toxic.

She can’t control her jealousy of Nick & Jessica’s romance & marriage. Nick probably didn’t tell Vanessa about the cookies, because he knew Vanessa is “psycho!”.
He was expecting his first child with Vanessa, when this happened. He was probably trying to make amends with Jessica. Just to let her know that he was happy for her. He had the card signed from “Nick & Vanessa”. Not by himself. Jess didn’t know that Vanessa didn’t know. Jessica is so sweet & kind, that even now she’s trying to cover for him. She doesn’t want trouble for Nick.
As for Vanessa, she needs some serious therapy! She is definitely not secure in her marriage. If she continues this it will drive Nick away. He may not get Jessica back, but he’ll find someone else! Other women, younger & prettier, probably flirt openly with Nick, & it pisses her off, so she tries to control him. He will get sick of it! It is Karma for what she did to Jessica. For Nick as well! I say “If you can dish it out, than you better be able to take it!”.
Vanessa was being nasty, and very petty it’s obvious. Jessica is full of grace and dignity. Vanessa is insecure and it shows. She could have just ignored it and it wouldn’t have been a big deal.

Why did it look like Vanessa was going to jump out of her seat?! Relax Vanessa 9 times out of 10 Nick sent it and didn't tell you. Nick could have told someone from his camp to forward a gift. Happens to my Cousin Bev all the time. People don't know her actual address, but will gift her things via "her people". When you see the hand grab you know it's a spouse giving a "pump your breaks" warning. I get that she wanted to set the facts straight, but is she 100% sure that Nick didn't send it as a good will gesture?
