It doesn't sounds obnoxiously loud I've been trying to decide whether to go touring or track. I was afraid track would be to much but I like this.
The track can have some drone around 2000 rpms but I wouldn't say it's too bad at all. I'd still buy it again over the touring even if they were the same price.

Thanks for the feedback! At the time of this video, the only mod I had was the cold air intake. Makes the whine so addictive.

@brunomatassini9879 For what I know, the 6MT and 7AT have a similar gearing setup. So for my car when in 6th gear, the drone isn't that bad. It's still a loud exhaust system, but I wouldn't consider the drone in 6th gear to be annoying.

Thank you! I don't have the link, but I bought it right off AWE's website. I bought the AWE Track Exhaust with 102mm diamond black tips. I did not buy any downpipes. I left the stock ones on the car.

Thank! I got the 102mm tips. At the time of the video. All I had was the Integrated Engineering Intake. I had the stock tune also.

In my opinion, the drone would be lessened if you get the resonated downpipes. I've been thinking of doing that myself. And my diffuser is the ECS Tuning diffuser for the S5.

It definitely does. I have the Integrated Engineering Cold Air Intake. Before the intake, the supercharger noise was pretty much nonexistent. Now you can hear it whine just like in the video.

Hey thanks. My car is black. The Audi color is Phantom Black Pearl. I got gloss black badges too so that it still looks bright enough in the sunlight.

@Mizaq Enyad I've changed my exhaust setup since this video. Instead of test pipes, I gutted the cats, and that helped to cut out a lot of the rasp that comes with test pipes. It is a little more raspy than in this video. But I'm definitely still a fan. I might do a follow-up video with my new setup.
@@brandonswaby6453 ah i see. yea everyone keep recommending doing that with the cats, maybe ill go that route. but check out the hi-flow catted downpipes JHM makes. they cut out the rasp and smell i've been told.

Touring if going catless, then get resonated dp if you change stock trust me, non res is simply to loud

Thanks! We call those "DSG Farts" in the community. It makes the noise when the automatic cars upshift with good acceleration.
Are you running stock catalytic converter or is it gutted? This is a catback exhaust, right?
Exactly. This is a catback exhaust. Shown in this video is the AWE catback with the stock catalytic converter.
how much money was the exhaust? did you install it by yourself?
The exhaust retails for about $1500. I went to a shop to have it installed.
How long does it take for it to be shipped out?
It took about a week to get my exhaust.
How loud is it in comfort mode compared to dynamic mode?
I honestly don't really notice a difference between the two modes.
Do you have an update on how it's been
A few months later, it has still been just as enjoyable. I love the sound and in my opinion the noise level is very liveable. This car is my daily driver.

Can you still hear the supercharger like you could with the stock exhaust?
I should say from inside the car
It is a little harder to hear it at lower rpms. But when you get higher up in the rev range you can definitely hear it just as well.
How's the drone on this?
There definitely is some drone with this exhaust. If you're accelerating at around 2000 rpms, it is the most noticeable. For me, it really isn't that bad, especially because you won't be in that drone frequency for more than a couple of seconds. Even with the drone, I would still buy the exhaust again.
Test driven an S5 with an AWE Track Exhaust before and it sounds great but the cold starts are brutal. Your neighbors will hate you.
Yeah, the cold starts are pretty loud. Just be extra polite to your neighbors lol.
How’s the drone?
The drone is there with moderate throttle at lower rpms, but I have gotten used to it, and it's not that bad.

For anyone asking.. sounds amazing but drone is absolutely horrendous all the time.
In my opinion, it definitely can be bad lol, but you do get used to it. After a few months I didn't really think about it as much.
