Man, I couldn't believe it when Rappaport started to say ATL was about to pick Penix. I was thinking that surely there's no way they'd make that silly of a mistake when they had every single defensive player they could've wanted at #8. I'm disappointed and honestly think Fontenot will be gone by next season.

I think another big reason the Panthers jumped into the first round because it gives them the 5th year option on the contract. Take him at 33 and you lose that extra year, similar to the Ravens trading into the end of the first for Lamar to ensure that contract.

It’s a solid draft, I might prefer Troy Franklin to play WR3 on the cheap than an Ivy League tackle, I feel like Stoutland can turn a later round pick into a gem, or get a RT next year.

Man if we go Penix at 8 and Lassiter in round 2 this might be the worst Falcons draft i can remember in a long time.

I'm still trying to figure out the thought process behind the Penix pick. If we wanted a young QB to sit and learn behind Kirk, I feel like JJ would've been the better pick. I think we could've easily traded back with a QB hungry team, added more draft capital, and still grabbed up a defensive stud. This move proves that it's time for Fontenot to go.
@@landonbarrington9944 I'll gladly pass i live in Georgia and have watched all of UGA games. I wasn't impressed with him that much in most of them. Im not a fan of TJ Tampa either that much i like most of the round 3 CB's over both of them this draft.
@@caezarDot Don't gotta tell me twice im on the Fire Fontenot train as we speak. Crazy part is Penix was actually my #2 QB in this class and original pick to us at 8. Before we signed Cousins so i don't hate the player at all i just hate how dumb and inept the FO is in handling the roster. They could salvage it if they can somehow get Hendrickson to go all in while cousins is here. But taking a round 2 or later edge and skipping the entire FA edge class or trade options. Is just ignorant with how bad our pass rush has been over the last decade plus.

For the Packers and their O-Line, not sure if this is what they’re planning on, but apparently Zach Tom’s best position is at Center. They may be looking to move him inside and keep Walker at Tackle

As a Chargers fan, the three players that I have top of my board for their second round pick is WR McConkey, DT Newton, and S Nubin

zach frazier is so underrated hes prob the best running blocking center in the draft multiple occasions of him panking dl and lb and even blocking 2 people at once. hes been seen dragging his rb into the end zone w 2 poeple on him.

The Pearsall pick by SF was and wasnt that big a surprise if you look at their situation at WR. All three of their top WR's are in contract negs, or wanting out, or something. The fact is that trio probably wont be the starting trio come game time.
