also after adding gear oil i will put using a standard hand grease gun always put about 20-25 pumps grease in after you have filled with oil. this will save your gearbox. also mfg gives a 5 year warranty on boxes is usally packed with grease. at sometime seal will go out usually from wire or anything that can get wrapped around bottom shaft. gear boxes only runs about 540 rpms. i sell around 50-75 cutters a year never had a warranty issue always added grease
