Wow! This is a nasty one. Look at how crystal clear this filming is and the detail involved. He doesn't miss anything. You can even hear them talking. Excellent photography!! I hope all the injured make a speedy recovery.
You can tell the spokesperson is a government employee. Me, as a private employee would have said, "We responded to a fire call at this location, building was on fire, fire spread, to other buildings and we put the fire out, any other questions"? :)
So sad to see these great people risking life to help others. But full of gratitude that they are here for us, you. Pathetic that local govts will not 100% help these hero's. As time passes and as they age. The elected officials forget.
one can't forget what one never knew or cared to know. many politicians imo use sympathy/concern for first responders as bait to secure votes. it's a whole game of politics and unfortunately our first responders are often caught in the middle of it.
Hats off to the firefighters who put their lives on a wire every day! From what I have seen so far, commercial / industrial fires like this one are usually combatted from the outside, as internal attacks are too dangerous (as stated by the fire chief at the end). I wonder what was burning in an apparently vacant storage facility with such intensity.
i'm Vietnamese .. go to watch this clip. i see the rescue team needs to organize and train more and work faster .. need to coordinate with the helicopter to spray water down above to fight the fire timely . avoid property loss
Also those who now attack the emergency workers should be taken to the 9/11 memorial site and museum remind them we need these heroes they all deserve respect not attacks
praying for the injured firefighters and the safety of all who risk their lives like this. .... one question, why are those ladder trucks lying there unused for so long? ..I know the firefighters themselves are working under orders, and do a great job .
I just don’t understand why Los Angeles doesn’t have tower ladders so much faster for water delivery than what you got to go through putting up ladder trucks
They just don't use them, the west coast prefers tillers as a whole, and has a whole lot less trucks than you should see east of the Rockies. The could at least go pre-piped if they don't want towers, I'm guess cost is the reason.
Lack of versatility is the main reason most west agencies don't have them. Any department that did have the replaced them as soon as budgets permitted.
California's leaders have other priorities than protecting its citizens against fires and criminals. I'll stop there before I get too political but you know what I mean.

Good day good human. Thank you for your expert opinion and commentary. I was the shitbird Captain that was making the transmission to the IC To bring the medics to the downed FF “while” the other members were rescuing the downed FF. As Bravo Division Supervisor that was my task. What would you have done differently? Help me be better.👨🏾🎓🔥✌🏾
we see the building is endangered collapse! no one goes inside when is destroyed the main stability of the buiilding! no life in danger inside the building -> only water and save from outside. where was the instructor or batatlion leader? Rules saves life and against injuries. from all side we see endangered collapse and there goes and sending out fire fighters inside the building?! bad work. save fire fighters life! the mass of water cames to it and make buiding collapse faster!
Can someone tell me why they use a metal disc cutter that creates sparks? Here in the uk we have " The Jaws of Life which is a phematic cutting tool , which is more safe than sparks flying all over...Hope these firemen were ok...
WTF don’t they know not to stand underneath those types of rolling dock doors? As technicians they tell you that when you work in a shop. Those doors can come down out of nowhere let alone a fire.
Whom is that person in the black addidas jacket and black pants... He came out nowhere in the 1st shots in the back and he reappears later again in front of truck 94. He appears to ask the firefighter something...does not appear part of the camera crew or anything

God bless all those firefighters and especially bless those two injured ones and may their full recoveries be rapid!!

Praying for the firefighters that were injured and for the safety of all involved
Thank you for your dedication.. Hope you both recover quickly..

What???!😮 That’s the absolute wrong thing to do.
I hope all were alright love from the uk heroes all firefighters
Also those who now attack the emergency workers should be taken to the 9/11 memorial site and museum remind them we need these heroes they all deserve respect not attacks
Welp saw that happening. My chief would have never let us inside the building with that door half way up like that. I hope everyone is okay!
Hopefully they learn from this and don’t repeat the same mistake in the future...
I hope they aren't too badly hurt
He was ok. Missed about 3 shifts.
0:12, let this a lesson, never trust a roll up door that is exposed to heat, shit never trust a roll up door in general, those things can kill you.

I hope both firefighters are not badly injured and will recover quickly please take care I am from England.
they are real heroes, well done
Get better soon! God speed
Love you Netflix show onscene
I hope they are ok
Wow look at how there gear lights up.
Usually it's so hard to get through the roller doors.
I just don’t understand why Los Angeles doesn’t have tower ladders so much faster for water delivery than what you got to go through putting up ladder trucks
agreed. there’s a lot of major cities that could benefit from tower ladders
They just don't use them, the west coast prefers tillers as a whole, and has a whole lot less trucks than you should see east of the Rockies. The could at least go pre-piped if they don't want towers, I'm guess cost is the reason.

Don't forget you're talkin about LA, here. They're historically the city that teaches the rest of the country how to fail.

True Heroes
Its got to be a bad fire they are all coming out trying to get air Lord bless these heroes
Did anyone see the firefighter having trouble holding the water hose! It kinda goes haywire and the few guys around flee! It was around the 10:19 mark
Yes and they hauled azz and moved real quick! He is no longer on hose duty Lol
I wonder how much psi the engineer was pumpin to it
Drove by it yesterday after the fire... Nothing but rubble was left
that captain is a shitbird, to busy playing boss holding his handset, make your transmission and help pull your damn men out,

By the way, what is a shitbird?
Good work guys. Thank you.
Need a fourth ladder truck right where you're filming from
Hope the two firies are ok
Those rolling doors are hazardous. I hear rolling door killed one of shipmate before. The door drop hitting him in the head.
LA needs to spend some cash on New equipment
Equipment, training, more training, and then start training people how to fight a fire instead of arriving on scene and staring at the flames.

Raise the property tax again…

They were fighting the fire in a defensive mode…
So did the garage door fail? Or did they cut it and it came down on them?
why do fires get worst when firefighters get get there
I see an Engine marked as Class One. What does that mean?
The department is an ISO Class 1 department
I wish those firefighters well!

The jaws don't work too well when cutting non cars

That title is a damn tongue twister
I hope they'll be alright as well. But why are they doing almost nothing as the fire has its way? I don't get it, but maybe there's a method to it!
10:14 Min. = Ha, ha, ha. Bad performance by the Batallion Chief!
Whom is that person in the black addidas jacket and black pants... He came out nowhere in the 1st shots in the back and he reappears later again in front of truck 94. He appears to ask the firefighter something...does not appear part of the camera crew or anything
Maybe he's the arsonist and wants to make a cameo appearance in the video. Lol.
