Im old and in a men's league. Trying to learn how to throw a cutter. I have been working with a 4 seam grip and as a lefty just angling my middle and pointer finger more to the left of the C instead of straight across like a traditional 4-seam. Throwing it normally with no snap seems to get some horizontal movement. Am i on the right track for a cutter with regards to the grip and arm action? Kinda hard to explain this only in text lol
Perfect loop! I was watching this 3 times before I noticed
what loop?
There’s no loop your just mental
Such a clean loop
Can we see you throw it?
Do we apply pressure to the index finger that’s on top or just leave it relaxed? And at the release should I snap it or let the grip do it’s magic??
no pressure. just relax. let the grip work. no snaps
Does the spike/knuckle curve place added stress on the elbow?
no evidence of that, no
The delayed pronation/supination does not add stress. What it does do, it transfer some of the stress absorbed by the pronator mass to the ucl.
変化球どんど細分化されていきますね😊
Do I apply most of the pressure to my middle finger or index finger?
Middle..you just need the index for support on release
I’m in 10u and I tried this for a chase pitch and it was 😊
find my changeup videos and learn that pitch!
@@DanBlewett thanks!
