You’ll find more than roses at the colorful Rose Garden in DESCANSO GARDENS! The gardens are located about 20-30 minutes northwest of downtown LOS ANGELES in the city of LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE. We visited in early June, although the roses started to bloom in May. The gardens are a must see on your visit to Southern California any time of year, but to enjoy the roses you’ll want to visit in spring and summer, from May to September.
