I wish this video was much longer. I would love to have learned about all of the varieties she has. Great to see how she was able to achieve this in her backyard.
Hi Maria! We would love that too! It was incredible to learn about how she did it:) There is more info in the podcast episode with her if you havent listened yet www.buzzsprout.com/1610311/10482361
There needs to be another video of Linda explaining how she takes care of her garden, what is her irrigation scheme (or does she just water them manually?), what she feeds her roses, etc. More more more! That Cecille Brunner is an absolute beast, so full!
My parents in Chicago had a climbing rose that covered their entire front house,it was almost to the roof (3 floors) . They were 2 houses down from a busy restaurant and all their patrons would take pictures in front of my parents house. On occasion they would even ring the doorbell and ask if they could come past the fence for a better picture. I was really proud of then. Since then the rosebush has lost alot of its like robustness, I think it's bc in Chicago the climate changes can be too vast around springtime. Plants think it's time to start blossoming and then the Temps go below freezing for a week
Your garden inspired me to think about a few arches over a small walkway I have from the top/bottom of my garden. Bought Eden to go up/over eventually. Would love more videos from you!
Love it but it's too short. Please do another visit again soon--perhaps in June :) . Her garden is fabulous. Wish I could be there to admire and smell the roses.... Thank you!
love seeing this display of beautiful roses on arbors! Kinda funny to see her cut him off speaking ahead oh him and her say "it is it is" when he said its probably the best thing hes ever smelled in his life!
Lovely tour and video, I would love to see more education videos on rose care, organic disease treatment options and common rose care problems addressed here. Feeding schedules would be nice also! We love learning more about taking good care of the roses!
What a beautiful garden…would love to be there and stroll through and smell all the roses. Please share the details on the watering schedule and length of time you water. Thank you for sharing your experience and garden 😄🌹
I was actually headed for "Rose Garden" by Lynn Anderson, but this was a delightful little side trip. I do like the effect that the trellises "make the roses bigger than you".
Thank you so much for sharing your tour of this beautiful Rose Garden. I fell in love with the Pierre de Ronsard rose on the arbor and would like to plant it in my garden some day. However, I live in Toronto, Canada and in summer time we have Japanese Beetles that destroy all the beautiful flowers in the garden, especially the roses. Do you have any tips for dealing with those beetles and having successful roses. Please don't say use cup of water with dish detergent and drown the beetles, because a) it's gross and b) it's time consuming. Many thanks in advance.
Dormant spray on the roses can prevent pests...but Japanese Beetles...hmm. Probably a systemic drench is the only way. Do you have Master Gardeners in your area? We'd say connect with them or a hort. program thru a local university! Someone's gotta know in your area!!
It’s absolutely beautiful. My garden is incomplete without a climbing rose. What is the first rose she mentioned? I didn’t get her french ? Pierre de …?
Oh my gosh! I just started my rose collections up to 35 varieties. I am so happy to see someone in local like Linda who has the strong passion as I do. Does she have any contact info for viewers to reach out for questions and such? Or is she interested in hosting a class all about roses? I am all for it!
Hi Alix! That is so cool that you have so many! She is a part of the local rose society! You may be interested in contacting them or joining :) sierrafoothillsrosesociety.org/

Does she have a channel or page?
It's now Spring 2023. Can we please see more, with the names of your roses? This garden is so beautiful and inspirational!
There needs to be another video of Linda explaining how she takes care of her garden, what is her irrigation scheme (or does she just water them manually?), what she feeds her roses, etc. More more more! That Cecille Brunner is an absolute beast, so full!

Where can we get the arbors?
We sell something similar at our nursery.
My son was born in Roseville 45 years ago.
Beautiful garden
So nice, thanks!
Hello do you do tours? I would love to visit when in full bloom
We don't do tours of this garden. This is just a personal friend of ours. So pretty though!
It’s absolutely beautiful. My garden is incomplete without a climbing rose. What is the first rose she mentioned? I didn’t get her french ? Pierre de …?
Isn't it great!?
It is Pierre de Ronsard rose

@@idiggreenacres thanks for the response. I will look into it!
Gorgeous! Thank you so much. I would love to know how big is that rose garden and the distance between 2 archs with climbing roses, please?
She had over 300 roses planted. Garden was dense with roses, only took up her side yard and a portion of her back yard. Some arches were about 6-8ft away and some were much closer together.
Good question!
Imagine walking into the garden like a disney princess❤
